So, Cameroon was planning to go to world cup via penalties? Useless team

Anyway, on to Zambia. Decent game from the lads, they could have concedef more with that possession

Mickael2:

if that is playing 'perfectly' by your standard then we have a problem. And please, that wasn't totally on Ezenwa at all

With all the possession, Cameroon had exactly zero shots on target.

Disappointing. We need a ball playing cm to replace either one of Onazi or Ndidi. Ezenwa has done well over these 2 games but it was a poor mistake for him to make.
Zambia will be difficult, but we should be able to beat them.

A draw at home against Zambia seals it.. It is a good result, we are almost there.

Truly Cameroun was very busy but ineffective in their attack.

Good result. The Lions were out to redeem themselves. We were also not clinically infront of goal, with better luck we could have been 3 goals ahead before Bassagog and aboubacar came in. Ezenwa tried but he showed his inexperience with that penalty, it was a needless penalty really. Hope Zambia gets beaten tomorrow and Rohr should please give John Ogu a chance in that midfield, I though not the coach would have preferred Ogu being the sub and not Mikel Agu. Anyway good results and baring any misfortune we should be at the worldcup which means we MUST beat Zambia in Nigeria to avoid any last minute permutations.

See world people o.. Crown him today, crucify him tomorrow.
It was a really decent game from the lads.
And some people are already calling for Ezenwa's head! Na wa.
You don't expect Cameroon to just lie down and allow us run over them.
Se na groundnut dem Come sell for field ni?

Whether we beat zambia or draw, beat algeria or draw, 12 point will take us through. 4 points in each match is enough for us.

Thank you.. Besides we were playing perfectly even after Mikel was subbed out in the previous match. I didn't even think Mikel was one of our top performers today. But glad I'm now confident that we will not be too comfortable with Ezenwa as our first choice

Perfectly?! No! Nothing is perfect with the Performance, rather average. Also we shouldn't nail Ezenwa for the Penalty conceded, rather we should thank God that the Ref wasn't biased and decided to overlook some reckless Challenges that would have resulted in Pks.

We should be happy we get a Point out of the Match. It worth celebrating! Ezenwa is ready, he has proven it and if the Coaches trust him, he earned it.

why are you annoyed? I am annoyed by your annoyance.

The boys tried by silencing Cameroon's attack and if not for that penalty, the Cameroonians were puffing air all game. It wasn't even a defensive error

I guess GoodJoe was right, those guys should not have grooved on friday night, please no more Akwa Ibom girls, they nearly caused us today's game. I love Victor Moses but he needs to understand that soccer is a team sport. I don't think he made more then 5 passes today. If you are going to be the engine room/heart of the team, then your main job is to distribute the fucking ball, not win the game by yourself. We would have put this game to bed with like 3 goals before that inexperience hesitation play by the keeper that caused us the penalty, lastly after Moses Simon's goal, where the hell did he and Ndidi go to ?

Am contented with this draw cuz playing Cams twice in 3 days can be so exhausting and tiring. Our boys played very well even with the goalie error, they were simply outstanding pulling a draw in Cam
I believe Nigerians were carried away by the 4-0, we should give the boys kudos for a job well done.

Nice game from our guys. Though I was hoping for a victory but something was telling me that Cameroun would score nonetheless good game. I pray our players stay injury free for Zambia game which we would use for our qualification.

Go Super Eagles, go!!!

me i wonder what their perfect performance is.

The point was that in the last game we were three goals up, they were down and out. But this was a balanced game, totally different and we were poor

The Cameroonians are too physical, they played the Match like a Rugby Game. I was scared for our Players to safely end the Match.

Pls we shouldn't be Oliver Twist.... no need to bash anyone or feel Sad. The Result is perfect, and we are 80% in Russia.

We were really poor in the Midfield to be candid. I can't blame Mikel though, he's unfit, exhausted but still play his Best.

The best Players on the Field are Shehu, Ekong, Balogun and Ezenwa. Ezenwa dealt well with Set-pieces and aerial Challenges. Ekong and Balogun Combo was solid. Shehu was able to neutralize the Thread on his Part.

I was expecting Rohr to sub in Ogu, he's physical and couldn't have helped. But all is all.... we should celebrate the Point.

When you win 4-0 there is hardly any lesson to learn. In the first leg Ezenwa was hardly tested but he did the forbidden for keepers in two occasion, first he left his line for a cross that was out off his reach, the second he fumbled a weak shot to the attack line.
Keepers/players make mistakes but when you reapeat basic errors there is more than enough cause for worry. We need Eyeama back.

Nah! It wasn't perfect. The Combo of Ekong and Balogun made it look like. The Midfield lost the Battle, couldn't win second Balls too.

The Team was set to hit the Cameroonians on Counter, did we succeed?! Poor touches and passes in Midfield didn't make it work.

BTW..... I really don't wish to argue on Team Performance rather to appreciate them all!
