We were really poor in the Midfield to be candid. I can't blame Mikel though, he's unfit but still have his Best.

The best Players on the Field are Shehu, Ekong, Balogun and Ezenwa. Ezenwa dealt well with Set-pieces and aerial Challenges. Ekong and Balogun Combo was solid. Shehu was able to neutralize the Thread on his Part.

I was expecting Rohr to sub in Ogu, he's physical and couldn't have helped. But all is all.... we should celebrate the Point.

wait, in ten minutes you will see some people that watch the back of their tv showing up to condemn Shehu. For me the boy was the best player, I don't think he put a foot wrong. But whenever we bring up our RB, people tend to forget that the guy exists, if Aina and Shehu are in the same club, Shehu will give him a run for his money and I would start Shehu personally, he is more balanced defensively, I am not sure he got beaten once

me too, considering the fact that they will be up against Nigeria and Cameroun

Am contented with this draw cuz playing Cams twice in 3 days can be so exhausting and tiring. Our boys played very well even with the goalie error, they were simply outstanding pulling a draw in Cam
I believe Nigerians were carried away by the 4-0, we should give the boys kudos for a job well done.
Well said. We are on course. Consider that we trained for just a week and played a Cameroonian team that has played at least 13 matches more than our team. Our job was done in the first leg.

why are you annoyed? I am annoyed by your annoyance.

The boys tried by silencing Cameroon's attack and if not for that penalty, the Cameroonians were puffing air all game. It wasn't even a defensive error

lols....annoyed by my annoyance
they tried buh allowing d pressure to get 2 dem was wat vexed me.....

Nah! It wasn't perfect. The Combo of Ekong and Balogun made it look like. The Midfield lost the Battle, couldn't win second Balls too.

The Team was set to hit the Cameroonians on Counter, did we succeed?! Poor touches and passes in Midfield didn't make it work.

BTW..... I really don't wish to argue on Team Performance rather to appreciate them all!

We should have rapped up the game if not for some misses. The midfield defended well. They just did not make the right transitions.

Except we hate seeing him in the Team, he's the best we've got as a RB at the moment. They tried to attack through his wing, he frustrated the Hell out of them.

They switched to the LB.... Oh Lawd, Echiejile was a sour to the Eyes. He was skinned and feat on by the Cameroonian Winger. Thanks to Onazi who was covering for him and Balogun who's ready to face the next Challenge.

I believe our initial target on this thread was 4 points, was it not? 4-0 kind of messed with our heads, else, I don't see why anyone should complain.

We planned to take a maximum of 4-points and we did....job well done to the entire team, we're on course

I can only imagine what the Cameroonians must have been saying of their team after losing 4-0 to us if we who drew are saying this of our team

They weren't clear cut chances rather intelligent movements and plays by the Attackers.

How many through passes were played from the Midfield in the whole 97mins? None!

Mikel Ogu needs to know so much is expected from him whenever he subs Mikel. More games together will make a great team.
We've got a lot of work to do on our midfield. Rohr is building a team and I hope he succeeds

Onazi ran the Cameroonian midfield raged.. We defended very well from the midfield.

Same thing, we did not laugh the counters well but i can't fault the effort. It was almost an easy 1:0 win. Because Cameroon did not get close to scoring.

Echiejile doesn't deserve to be in our starting line-up henceforth.
He is a big flop and a disappointment, he plays like one who lacks experience. I hope the coach bench him next match

just that had it been Moses scored that goal or ighalo net his...it would have neutralize the Cameroonians
well they tried and I proud of them...
hopefully we settle scores against Zambia in October and register our name in the forthcoming world cup proper

The thing is there are certain players that fans don't like naturally, no matter how well they play. And there are some that even if they score an own goal some fans will still defend that own goal.

I am not for anybody neither am I against anybody. If you want to earn a place in the starting line up you have to earn it. Whether Nigerian born or foreign born.

Cameroon kept their Jokers on the Bench. When they came on its almost certain they would score.

We secured the Point due to the resilient of the Players not the Game plan.

me i wonder what their perfect performance is.

The point was that in the last game we were three goals up, they were down and out. But this was a balanced game, totally different and we were poor
Poor? When will it be close to even good for you, when?

And let's not forget we were actually lucky with our goal as it could have been disqualified for offside. I am hoping Mikel regains match fitness before the next game while also hoping Victor Mosis and Leon stay uninjured. The coach should consider giving John Ogu some playing time in the midfield could be a substitute for Mikel as the game wears on. Another observation I have is that besides Simon's goal, I didn't really see him have much impact in the game.
Did anyone notice some of the airkicks (ago epon) in the Camerounian box, I think we had two of such where an accurate shot would have killed the game.

But in all honesty, we got a great result and the 4-0 result probably made us expect too much from our boys, we are still a work in progress and there's still work to be done. And to be honest, I am one of the many Nigerians who didn't give them a chance after the draws were made.

Thanks Super Eagles for converting many non-believers like myself.

Up Super Eagles, up Nigeria!!!!

We need a left back asap. Echiejile is pure self-service. Terrible on one vs one. Doesn't even help going forward and also cant defend. Were bleeped If we face a good opposition with him
