Another option is Sone Aluko. But for Azeez, we don't need him. We've seen him play. We don't need him going forward. This three will make our Midfield strong and thick going forward.
-Azubuike
-Joel Obi
-Sone Aluko.

Sone Aluko is not a CMF ooooooo. grin He is an AMF, SS and a Winger. grin

Raheem Lawal statistics is still better than Azubuike in the Turkish league. So, Raheem Lawal is a better option than Azubuike live and direct.

However, Joel Obi is the best of them all and he should be drafted in to replace Mikel Obi. GBAM! grin

Honestly, Ramon Azeez was the one who benched Onazi in the U17 World cup and he was the third best player as a CMF.

Keshi just pack players go without knowing their best role. It was evidence when he substituted Onazi for Gabriel instead of Ramon Azeez.

Keshi should not have played him as AMF though he can play there, but should have played in in his natural position which is the CMF.

We saw him played well in the LA Liga against bigger clubs yet he performed excellently well.

But due to the fact that he plays in the second tier of the Spanish league, I no go consider am, except he helps his team gain promotion or he moves to Belgium in January.

I see nothing wrong with the way we played. It's not every time you go all out guns blazing. Cameroon needed the game more and haf to come out. Except Ezenwa's error and a shot saved by Ezenwa on the line, CMR didn't really trouble us. We were very patient and CMR made sure they defended deep to prevent any counters from happening knowing how fast we could break. The people concerned said they aimed for 4 points and got the 4 points now we de complain that they didn't collect the 4 points with swag! Who does that. On Instagram, the players are all singing and jhirating to Tony One week's jams and we de complain for here. Chai some Naija people can greedy sha.

No Joel Obi got sweet left foot and swagger but injury don nearly destroy em career.

No one m here is saying it didnt happen@timid display. but glad we all are to soak up all that pressure faster than garri. recall a typical naija team would have fallen and even lost years ago. and afcon champs 4 dat mata!!! we arent spain or brazil yet. glad we all agree we are nt where we used to be.

Ramon Azeez was the star of their U-17 team IMO. A fantastic DM with good passing and good shots in his U-17 and U-20 days. Out of their set, he moved along faster than most of the other guys, was in the last WC where he was played out of position by the Big Boss (RIP). With Kayode just hitting his potential, the sun may not have set on his career. And Oga forgiveness just cos he's in div 2 now doesn't mean he may not suffer us something good, afterall our assistant captain is still mourning not making his EFL transfer to Birmingham. I keep referring to the excellent Shehu who plays in Cyprus of all places. And did you know that Ben Iroha was not in Vitessse Arnheims main team hen he repped us at US 94? If he's match fit, invite him, try him out, if he flops, close the door to him, kapisch! But lets not write them off until he's given a chance at least.

Sorry ooo the goodjoe there's something quite juvenile about your opinions today. Seriously I also detest tepid, dull football. I relish good football to the extent that I can praise a team that lost out but played good football but Omo Baba, realistically let romantic football wait oooo. The world cup is the theatre of dreams and Nigeria must be there even if we have to crawl to get there.

You are right, he moved along faster than his peers but he didn't get the chance earlier.

Bros, we can't compare Championship with LA Liga second tier league, na. grin

Besides, we have players in better leagues, na. How can we just neglect Joel Obi, Raheem Lawal, Abdul Ajagun and Azubuike for him, na?

That one na wayo, na. grin

I think he is perturbed with getting Spanish citizenship over fighting for a place in the National team. grin

Let him change league first, abeg. grin

if Cameroon had turned to Barcelona, they would have had more than an unfortunate penalty to get a goal against us.

I loved tiki taka in its purest form. Men watching teams go long minutes without touching the ball impressed me. I also like high intensity attacking football. Heynckes, Boas at Porto, Pellegrini at City etc.

Very nice set up. But I think Simon should merit the role instead of Onazi. I am also interested in how Onyekuru will fare in the coming weeks.

I don't think Simon Moses will contribute as much, defensively, as Onazi. As someone mentioned here, the Zambians' main strength is their wing play. So, if we have the likes of Ndid (or Ogu), Onazi and Victor Moses on the pitch, they would be able to track the runs of the Zambian full-backs, and generally help out our own full-backs defensively.

If we had won even by one zero with parking the bus your comments here would have been like
:
Odion Ighalo continued from where he stopped, troubling the Cameroonian defence with his sweeping direct runs and his touch line dexterity made the first goal possible. Good link up play.

Ezenwa what more can I say. He has earned his place. Made crucial saves, quick recovery and bravely put himself on the line to prevent a goal.

Etc etc
But alas football being the beautiful game, beautiful for its unpredictability didn't pan out the way you expected. It was victory you wanted. Your grouse is not that they parked the bus but that they drew on the back of a 4:0 defeat of Cameroun.
