Okigwe is a different LGA from Orlu. Banana Junction is in Orlu.

Orlu has produced 3 two-term governors so it'd be a big shame to find reddish sand around most parts. Owerri is even more beautiful.

To undermine Orlu's development totally, but make Owerri a Dubai of Africa, appears to be reason that made the present Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha, contest election in 2011. And he achieved his aim of making Orlu go down.

The present governor is from Ideato South lga near Orlu.
