Humility017: I dey tell you! It's actually not a must to support the Eagles with their kinda low or no Confidence in the Team. Some Dudes need to bounce off this noble thread and allow the real Fans to discuss better Plans for the Team. 3 Likes |

Oh yes!! Hopefully he makes his return against Algeria. Tammy, Dessers get capped as well. But the deed has to be done in Uyo for that to likely happen. AndreTAyodeji: |

Lol qualifying by H2H or goal difference is not a good look. We need to rise above that. We need these African teams to respect us like way back in the days. Then let's go to the mundial and get past the QFs. Let's show Nigeria is ahead in African football for once. frostmate: 2 Likes |

Chrismario:You see the reason why he should have been called in place of that Aaron Samuel...? rohr is really slacking in that area... against cameroon rather than put in musa in that first leg...why not use that opportunity cap Aina or ebuehi? |

Well no cause for alarm. This has been our best WCQ campaign in recent times. We know how we use to do now. Oct 7th is the date. I'm sure Dessers won't be in a hurry to choose if Belgium comes calling earlier. He wants to play for Nigeria. All we need to do is maintain contact with him. Chrismario: 1 Like |

Somebody must have suggested Aaron to him as a physical player. It's not like his recents stats have been impressive. It's solely based on what he once did for SE. Humility017: |

So Dudes are still shivering and feeling Jittery till now..... LOL! This is a moment to separate Men from Boys, and to understand the mental Strength of the Eagles and their technical Crew. No one expected the Eagles to beat Cameroon, they did it in style. Get four well deserved Points from the reigning Africa Champion. The Group was seen as the toughest on the Continent, it was tagged the Group of Death cos it more or less like the Premiership where 6 Clubs are fighting for the Title. However, the Lads make it look like a Bundesliga League where a Club is ruling! I welcome the Challenge from the Zambians, they've made the Group more like a La Liga, and we have to show them our Superiority in Uyo next Month. This is World Cup Qualifying Group Games, thanks to the Zambians for adding spices to the Group - it's a welcome Development to test the Lads! 3 Likes |

boostdom: Did you understand the Interpretation of the Rules.....?! LOL
The above is simply termed as Head to Head Rules and it's in favor of the Eagles if the Match ends in Draw. Kindly pay Attention to the bolded to clear your Doubt and Misconception of the Rules. 1 Like |

Oasis007: Rules 4, 5... come in if two or more teams are equal on the bases of rules 1, 2 and 3, according to the 2014 FIFA rule. Overall goal difference is considered before looking at the interaction between the two teams. https://sports.stackexchange.com/questions/916/qualification-decision-in-group-stages-when-everything-is-equal 1 Like |

You are right. H2H comes in when the first 3 rules still result in a stalemate. In fact there are many knowledgeable people in football matters, new or old to this thread. This is just an ordinary forum where we learn from each other -- old or new boostdom: 1 Like |

boostdom: I just downloaded the Rules in PDF Format from the FIFA Website and I think you are right with your Submission. But a Draw is still gonna guarantee us a Place in Russia, except you expect us losing by bigger Margin in Algeria and Zambia mercilessly beat Cameroon in their last Match. To avoid permutations in the End, Eagles will go for Victory in Uyo and I believe Zambia can't dim the already shining Light! |

Oasis007: My first comment you quoted was a response to someone who had the Eagles to qualify even if they "drew to Zambia and lose by 1000-0 to Algeria" and "Zambia wins by 100-0". This thread is informative...it should be factual too. |

We just need to take them seriously like they were Cameroon. If we play every team like the way we played Cameroon in Uyo, we will be dreaded even outside Africa. We just need to come with that kind of seriousness all the time -- strong or weak opponents. AndreTAyodeji: |

safarigirl: Young players can only be pushed into the senior team if there are such opportunities or voids. Many thought the young English U20 players will immediately displace the senior team players but things don't work out that way. These young players have to be gradually introduced else the team would be deficient of experience. If Solanke cannot make the English senior team it simply means he is not good enough at the moment. They have kept them busy with the U21s just to ensure their development continues till when they are deemed fit to displace the ageing senior players. Germany also practices this kind of transition. Talking about Mbappe, none of those English young players is on the same level with him. Besides he is not even yet a starter with France. It is only exceptionally talented teen players that break into the senior teams of such teams as England, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Argentina. They don't just discard their senior players just because a group of teens just won an U20 WC. 1 Like |
