from the trio. Lampard is a good
passer and can control the midfield

More of a technically sound player and carried more average team mates than lamps! Lamps played with some great players in their prime....terry, carvalo, zola, drogba, cech, makelele, cashley? Lamps was big game stevie g was pure talent featuring big game!

Stevie g was always their key man....stuck in an average team but still scored great goals, ran their midfield and dropped merciless passes and performances that led to solid victories! And almost took them to an elusive prem title...won the important trophies even before lamps (champs league, FA and europa) lamps only trumped him with the prem....there is a reason why chelsea and Madrid chased him for so long!

Better goalscorer: Lampard Better overall player: Gerrard PFA Team of the year: Lampard - 6 Gerrard - 8 Without any disrespect to Lampard, he always had a great supporting cast around him for the majority of his career, something that Gerrard never enjoyed. Despite that, Gerrard has won almost every trophy there is win bar the PL, and has performed spectacularly on big occasions with an unerring consistency. He was as influential a leader as he was a match winner.
