I dig you boss, but this is a lecturer I talk to once in 2-3 month , I was even shocked he replied.. this is a reply I got after 3 months of reaching out to him, and according to him Na my persistence dey make him like me and accepting me.. so as this message is it's certain we won't talk until after 2 months
maziude:

Boss,
You should chill with your messages before he gets irritated.
From what he posted, he is working on securing funding for you.
He will always be a mentor when you get accepted but bombarding him with that kind of message up there might chase him away. Please stop and contact him again only to remind him.

This is also to other prospectives, please, these guys are not from our part of the world where praises and ego brushing are required to move ahead in most cases. So please only respond with tangible and professional answers.

Thank you.

Well said bros, let's try to be formal when addressing them, most of them don't fancy the word "sir" you either refer to them as Prof Bleep or Dr Bleep or simply their first name as some will instruct you to address them by.
We should be nice buy not show desperation.

Hello house.... I have this very Question to ask.
1. Ok.... If one's application has exceeded processing time and no update, is it advisable for one to withdraw his application?
2. Aside people who have made attempts to withdraw their application and it turned out to be a medical call, as there been any situation whereby one's application is outrightly withdrawn based on the person's request even after exceeding the processing time.
3. By carrying this act, will one also get a refund of app fees since it's more like the application hasn't been processed/decided?
Thanks
Hello Judgepelumi

1, since your application has exceeded the processing time, it's advisable to send a case specific enquiry about your application than withdrawing it.

2. no idea.

3. You will not get a refund for a withdrawn application.

That is a good strategy applying for masters. So many schools do not accept GMAT. You just have to do your research. Straight off the bat, I can think of TRU, Ottawa and Alberta and Saskatchewan. Last time I checked, which is two days ago. But admission deadline for winter session just closed in most places, so you are going to be left with less competitive and scholarship-less schools if you want to start winter. What are you interested in studying?
Thnk u 4 ur respond, I wnt 2 go 4 masters in marketing, I av checked those schls they requested 4 GMAT or is thr any way 2 bypass? I wnt 2 apply 4 next yr April or May what should I do?

Only you can decide what is proper whether to withdraw your application or not. If you need to withdraw, send an email to Accra and they will withdraw it. There is a fellow here who sent request for withdrawal and instead of withdrawing it, they approved it. That was after two times of applying and getting rejected, on a request to withdraw his third application, they granted. Gotta love their psychological manauvers. Yes you are right, if they haven't made any move on your application, it's at their discretion how much fees to refund you, if any.

Please is Statutory declaration of common law union(IMM5409) form compulsory for married couples to fill along side other forms?

Thanks.

Not needed. Common law union declaration are for couples that are not married by law but by habit and repute. Informal union.
If you are legally married which i believe you are, you don't need the IMM5409 form. Only declare your marital status in the field provided and also include the marriage certificate as proof.

Good day everyone,

I am a new member here, I heard the good work members here are doing in order to help fellow member with the right information. Good bless you all.

I have two questions:
First: I have decided to apply for Pre-master in Computer Science in University of Manitoba but I have problem uploading the folder containing the Two files of each of the the two Schools I attended (FCE Kontagora and Unilorin) When ever I clicked on the folder, it open the folder to upload only one file and move to the next sections, leaving the other file not uploaded. Please is any one here with the experience or what can I do? Thank you all

Hello Kenny4uu,

What is your CGPA? If it is high, some schools can waive GMAT/GRE for you. Us084 was admitted to University of Lethbridge with funding and they also waived GMAT for her because she has a high CGPA. Check universitystudy.ca to search for your desired schools.

Getting admission into Canadian Universities (especially research-based programs) is a herculean task but quite doable.

I wish you the best!
