If you can risk it, but i keep saying no one can confirm to you if the agent is real or not, we can only advice you to follow your instincts and do what your heart tells you. There are good and bad ones so the ball is in your court. But don't rely on the help of agent for job, plan to search for jobs yourself, it is doable and be prayerful.

This is what I fear ooo. I know him to be a good person but I am not happy with the stories he is coming up with almost all the time. We are in the same area and we started the processing in April till now, no show. My patience has run out.

From what I see, it seems there are more opportunities in the hospitality industry in UAE. I've decided to undertake a diploma course in hospitality management so as to maximize my chances of gaining employment. The gurus can give more insight to this!

if you're not careful in this city, you end up spending above your salary even before it arrives, also beware of the gender rules, else u go pay fine tire

Once ur visa expires, ur first day of over stay is 200aed, subsequent days are 100aed daily. There are so many agencies that does visa change, I don't know the process though but you will exit to Oman & re-enter with a new 3 months visa. Check around. U will get legit info. As for apartment, it depends on ur choice/pocket, bedspace, partition, studio etc. It's starts from 550aed monthly to thousands of dirhams

1m is more than enough, here what counts most at times is your experience not degree though it boils down to the kind of job he's aiming at.

Though he enter directly through employment visa, but yesterday he messaged me that they sacked him and all other Nigerians and Ghanaian in the company. They told him to come to head office on Saturday to collect pay check And vacate the labor camp.. Please what's the way out? I'm confused on what next he can do to stay back and get a job including accommodation.
