Once ur visa expires, ur first day of over stay is 200aed, subsequent days are 100aed daily. There are so many agencies that does visa change, I don't know the process though but you will exit to Oman & re-enter with a new 3 months visa. Check around. U will get legit info. As for apartment, it depends on ur choice/pocket, bedspace, partition, studio etc. It's starts from 550aed monthly to thousands of dirhams

Good day house, please enlightened me. A brother of mine enter Dubai 3 months ago though he has been given his residency permit through the job he is doing over there.. Though he enter directly through employment visa, but yesterday he messaged me that they sacked him and all other Nigerians and Ghanaian in the company. They told him to come to head office on Saturday to collect pay check And vacate the labor camp.. Please what's the way out? I'm confused on what next he can do to stay back and get a job including accommodation.

Bobby, make you cool down. At least do six months for your contract before you waka, in my opinion make you start dey apply from fifth month so that in no time your six month go don correct. If you leave now the thing fit get negative effect on other Nigerians when go find work go that your company say dem no dey stay. My candid opinion though. Cheers

Just I... Yes that's what the law says but u know rules are meant to be broken, 2nigerians left my coy just 2months into the contract, they got a new job in naija and albab told both of them to pay the money he used in getting thier visas, 3000aed each they both paid and contract was cancelled shikena...
Even in my contract it was bodly stated that within the period of 1-6 months if I wana cancel I will pay the visa fee, that one no be even UAE Law, now visa fee has been increased to 4000 just to scare people off...
Am not desperate to leave o, my current job has prospects but the idea of working at Sheraton alone dey scatter my Dada... Thier accommodation is beside mine, I see thier package and all that the thing dey trip me, lol me set na hotelier so I know the drill
