1. Starvation: It is not in clandestine that a country like Kenya without any form of political instability and unrest could suffer such a high level of starvation which is only comparable to war torn Somalia, pitiable I must say.

2. Slums: As it is obvious to all and sundry, Kenya has the largest slums in Africa and second in the World, with over 65% of the citizens living in these slums without toilets and basic social amenities.

3. Unemployment: Unemployment is a huge problem in Kenya and has made unemployment in other African countries look like a joke, with about 56% unemployment rate, little wonder most of it's citizens have lost fate in humanity and engage in all sorts of crimes to keep live going.

5. Crime: There is an increasing alarm about crime in Kenya, most expatriates expressed fear and how they can't move around in Nairobi after 6:PM owing to crime related activities.
