Speaking of using a sponsor who is based in Canada, this is my case which I'm trying to tackle bfr submitting my application for Jan school entry.

I initially chose my maternal uncle based in U.K as my sponsor, but after speaking to him, he made it clear to me that he will not be able to pay my fees and transfer fund to my dorm account, but he can provide other documents, like SOA, Landed Property doc in U.K. Even when he eventually sent his Personal Company SOA, the balance wasn't good enough just 2,700 GBP. I became worried.

But I have a Cousin, same surname with me who is a Medical Doctor in Canada, PR. That can comfortably sponsor me by paying my first fees and transfer to my dorm acct. Though I'm yet to inform him.

So my question is, can I go ahead and use my cousin that resides in Canada as my sponsor?, will it raise any red flag If I do so in terms of home tie."possibility of returning home after study"

Oh! Sorry for the mixup. I think it's safer and better to use the sponsor in Canada. He'd be able to pay ur tuition, and raise bank draft for you. Ask for his last 2 or 3 years Notice of (Re)Assessment and bank statements for the last 6 months. There's no harm at all in disclosing you have someone in Canada. You only need to demonstrate to the VO that you intend to leave Canada after your program in Canada.

You are welcome. Don't go for PGD, It's part of the culprit for the delay. Do the hard and needed work now and get into a masters degree. It will go a long way in aiding your visa aspiration. Only go for PGD as an absolute last resort, if you cannot get into a masters program.

It's about people complaining about ordering for their note through one IGEOLUWATOBI, the person in question should speak up & let them know what's up, it will be unfair for one to be delayed, then getting scammed for ordering d reason for refusal after waiting for over a month, then finding out nothing was ordered, the emotional trauma that comes with VISA REFUSAL is alone itself, then adding pepper on top of it, please & please, I am writing this epistle because after my visa was delayed, I asked about ordering my note, and the next thing I got was a mail from the said IGEOLUWATOBI asking if he could help me order my note, the first question I asked him was where is he based & what's his name on the forum & he replied with no name & said I should let him know if I am interested, that was his reply. So please the guy in question should speak up & let people what's up with their gcms note, will post a screenshot of the conversation, all I need to know is if he is genuine. Thanks! Are you sure that was the only reason? 5 years ban for not disclosing visa refusal is just too much. I think the person is not telling you everything. It's people that falsify documents i know get such severe punishment. But to answer your question. The person may try other countries, except US and maybe UK and Australia. I know for sure US and Canada have an agreement to share immigration information. It's possible that UK, Canada and Australia may have such agreement too, I don't know, but considering their relationship, it is not impossible.

some people are the source of their refusal. it not the number of documents you presented that will give you the visa. the first impression the VO has about your application immediately he/she lays hand on your application will determine the outcome of your application.
Don't give or volunteer unnecessary documents in the name of proving your case. In immigration profiling which is the first tool of the visa officers, there is what we call "suspicious signs", one if the signs is the overly cooperated applicants. They are applicants that overzealously present documents not needed. That suspicious impression goes a long way in shaping the decision of the VO.
Just presents documents that are relevant and answer the grey areas or possible questions that may arise from your dossier.

This will result to nothing... To change your status as you've indicated, you'll have to go back to Nigeria to apply for a study visa. Call cic for more info.
