need reassurance because I have been freaking out for the past 2 hrs. on my Canada questionnaire they asked to write down our academic history. I wrote down only one school meanwhile I attended two. one from 2004 to 2010. the other to write waec. I ended up writing the one I attended last, also adding that I attended the school from 2005 to 2011. I don't even know what u was thinking when I did all these but it has been done. I have sent them email and they replied that if they situation comes up they will get back to me. I am so scared right now. please help me with any other suggestions. |

ibeli0: I actually will highly recommend that route, having been denied s student visa because of PGC. Find a remedial program and concentrate on finishing and when done with an acceptance from the college, apply for change of status. It's not rocket science bro. Anyways look forward to discussing further with you. I think I see a pm coming in from you as I type. Will respond. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jnyuwa02: 11:06am On Sep 20, 2017 |
bumaye: I am actually looking at the questionnaire right now cos I had to fill out myself. Question 9 asked you to "please provide your academic history from secondary school to date." You were suppose to provide every school you have attended, starting first with the secondary school you attended. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you since you have explained the problem via email and you got a response. You proactively handled the problem it seems and you should be fine. |

I applied for my GCMS note on the 17th of August and it arrived yesterday 18th of september. Gurus in the house help look into these reasons for refusal. Even though I have travelled to both UK and USA. Thanks After careful review of application and supporting documents provided, program of study in Canada does not appear to be consistent with the previous education and /or employment history. Applicant appear to have limited economic/ social ties to home country as well as limited travels which could demonstrate a history of having travelled and returned. Based on the evidence provided I am not satisfied app is a genuine student who intend to complete course of study in Canada and would depart at the end of authorized stay. Refused |

Arebo: I personally think he is a scammer ... and I stand by my word ... he messaged me a while back and was like he can help me pay my application fees .. and I'm like who told him I wanna pay application fees .. he sent about two mails before I responded and I told him thanks I would pass .. but he messaged about two days later that have I paid my applications fees ..now to my point .. I didn't request for help on the forum for application fees so why would you ask me that ... THAT WAS THE RED FLAG ... then after seeing all this about him .. people complaining .. I just think I should share my experience and people should be careful whom they give money to for anything .. You messaging someone to help without the person requesting for it ,sounds off to me ... He should come out and prove himself .. |

Seems people are coming out to talk now, and y'all are getting my points exactly, this moniker in question...IGEOLUWATOBI sent me a mail this morning insulting that I am seeking attention for posting about him, I have checked his previous posts on this thread, found nothing, except for where he was asking how he could get information on Us & Canada visa, for someone wanting to help with gcms note, he isn't even in Canada, bothers me, I find it really unfair & wicked, after wAiting for reasons for denial & then discovering that nothing was ordered, we should get to the bottom of this, someone said he paid 41$, this is getting serious.....let's hear from someone else. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Arebo: 11:59am On Sep 20, 2017 |
@Adesire1 & Rubbies21, sorry first of all, thank God I brought people's attention to this, can you imagine, after the whole denial bit, then getting scammed, didn't use him because I immediately I asked him where he is based, he told me I should just let him know if I want to order, this is pure wickedness, you guys should have asked here, people have quoted it not once nor twice, it's 23$ from naija & 5$ if someone is helping you within Canada, God will definitely judge ! This the conversation between the said moniker & I below

bumaye:You have nothing to worry over. Do not allow fear grip you. The main thing is your HIGHEST level of qualification which should be your degree(if you are going for a graduate program). It was on that premise you were offered admission. You have filled this on your application form and as long as you have shown evidence of it, you are fine. Let me even try to make you calm down further, You see, if actually there will be an issue with the error, it will be an issue of misrepresentation which is highly unlikely in your case and according to their immigration law, an officer before making a decision MUST ask and allow the applicant a chance to explain the circumstance through a 'Letter of procedural fairness'. So if atall that issue comes up, you will be given a chance to explain or and possibly back your claim. Don't shiver. You are fine. Online applicants don't use the questionnaire and their applications are processed and a decision made. 2 Likes |

Hello all.. I applied for a PGD with Selkirk College and they reverted saying I have more than the 4 year gap required after 1st Degree. Is this rule applicable to other Canadian schools for PGD.. I have a 3.49 cgpa and it will be difficult getting into a direct masters programme. I need the gurus advice pls |

beckycute1: I have a ten years gap working after first degree and got into a masters program with full scholarship. Its never too late to learn is the default mode in most institutions in the west. If people knew, they will abandon these PGD/PGC programs en masse and shoot for the stars. More than 4 year gap is too much? Not to even talk about the visa headaches that these PGD programs are. One has to tremble! |
