Please what is gcsm and what benefit will it grant me in this situation? How do I process it and can it not hamper my re-application?

Kindly visit page 0 of this thread for proper understanding.

But as for gcsm file, it's a file containing the report and view of the VO in charge of your application and all what your submitted application entails.

Here is a link to it and the below link is exactly what you will see on page 0 of this thread.
Pls dont forget to visit Page 0 for more understanding of Canadian Visa Application.

I am of the opinion that this trv approval is just grace n luck. ..i was delayed despite paying part of fund n getting full funding for research based MES based on purpose n the fact that they are not sure I will return to my country.... Na their palaver n loss.. As God will have it... Got another full funding..phd in Europe... Hv ordered my gcms notes but Europe here I come..... Just pray for Grace n favour.. No body knows the real all reason why deny refuse....

I don't deny its luck and grace, but there are steps you can take to make luck work better for you. I bet you never submitted a Statement of Expalanation and even if you did, you didn't talk about any passion for what you do and strong desire to return to your homeland.

That's better!!

As regards the gcms file, that's the only recommended site on this thread and you will have to sort out that part of getting a temporary or permanent resident to help you in Canada yourself.

It wasn't like this before, but the privilege was abused and like the Admin. Of this thread said 'Trust no Nigerian with your money'.

And mind you, be very careful of touts who may send you PM to help you get it. it's all your risk.

All the best.

Hmmm... I did ooo.... I have applied there times... D first two.. Was refused based on Insufficient funds despite having a very good acct... The third time, I got finding... Full funding... Now they changed goal post from insufficient funds to purpose n travel history..... I wrote statement of explanation three times with even an offer of intent to start a research work with a multinational research Institute when I get back.... My requesting for a gcms note is just to know what is amiss...... Even my potential supervisor even said the govt of Canada are not reasonable when I told him...... Na der loss...... Good evening house, wow I have really learnt a lot from this forum. Kudos to everyone keeping this page alive. I really wish I had discovered it on time. Please what can I do ? I was refused my trv in April this year on purpose of visit and travel history. I applied to university of Regina for an undergraduate. In my application I omitted the fact that I have been refused American visa twice I didn't realise the gravity of this omission until I stumbled upon this thread. Luckily for me I wasn't banned or anything like that. I want to re apply and state my refusals in this new application. I know they already have my records in their database. Please, what can I do? Will it affect me ? Thank u

Hi promise please accept my Pm. We are both in the same situation. I need to ask you a few questions. Thanks

I think our biggest problem here is laziness, all you needed to is to accept the privacy notice then click continue to fill the form.

I don't think a VO is intimidated by anyone's qualifications. You might have applied too many times and come across too desperate to the VO, changing stuff too many times to fit their requirements. Did you submit landed documents and have wife and children in Nigeria and employed in Nigeria prior to your application? Just saying, but given your circumstance, this may have helped. Sorry about everything, it's Europe's gain!!

Hi guys! Please i urgently need information on universities in canada that accept 2.2 (2.7/5). I would not like to do trial and error, cos i don't have much application funds. Experienced people in the house, please recommend or suggest an alternative. I will really appreciate it if someone helps me out with this information. Thank you.

Wow!!
Pending the outcome of the file, I will advice you to get documents of your personal asset if any. So far it's for yourr family & for your sponsor. The source of income of your sponsor. If he owns the company (provide the COI), if not then his pay slip.(which must be a very strong income). If not then your family personal asset is ok. Be it land or buildings or investments.

I have since a case where the applicant didn't provide SOA but had enough personal asset and the sponsor isn't her dad but provided his COI of the company. There was no red flag.

All I said above isn't the answer to your delay, but they are things you should get ready pending the report on your file.

I believe the VO wants to see what you have even if your sponsor fails at anytime moreover he his a third party to you. Nevertheless, wait for the outcome of your file.

Your case isn't difficult like the conventional 'purpose of visit' but all the same all cases can always be resolved.

Thank you sir..

Hello friend,

I travelled to Canada for the last Christmas in which I found a school, applied and was given an admission. Sent my application to CIC for permit twice and was denied, what they keep requesting for is "Purpose of Visit". Can anybody explain forward to me cause when I applied last, I wrote a letter stating the reasons and benefits of the course I applied for.

I am still interested in applying again, what and what should I add in my application to make it a success.

Thank you.

What course did you apply with? And where did you apply? What was the reason(s) for refusal?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Markab: 11:56am On Sep 25, 2017
When did you apply? Well, the common mistake we make while linking an application often occur when filling our Given names, it's written as Given Name while we are required to input our first Name and Middle name but we often fill in our first name (just 1 name). CIC ought have pluralised the name or better still written as Given Name (s). So please retry by filling in the your two names in the GIVEN NAME box while you retain your surname in the Family name box as required.

GoodLuck

Hi guys... I'll be applying for visa against winter session this week.
I think I'm done with my SOP, but I feel I've not addressed the issue of why PGD instead of Masters well. My reasons include, low GPA, pgd serves a masters degree gateway, cost-friendly, intensive and hands-on practical oriented. The reasons sound disjointed and I'm having a hard time bringing them all together.

Also, @Austinpee, could you please review my SOP? I know you probably get lots of requests already but I'll appreciate your input. Sent you a PM already.

Lastly, what are CIC passport photo requirements (size, specs etc) and how many copies am I supposed to include in my application?
Thanks.

I've just been delayed for the 3rd time

Nothing can measure how sad I am right now, after all the prayers and fasting

All is well

Please house if I apply again after deferring my admission till January, Will that raise an automatic red flag?

Won't the embassy feel I'm desperate to leave the country?

All is well, I hereby back out now

Thanks Bayocanny, Austinpee4 and everyone here
