The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr. Ibrahim K.Idris, has commanded the immediate removal of all checkpoints across the Nation.

According to the statement, the order particularly applies to the Lagos-Ibadan, Shagamu-Benin, Benin-Onitsha, Okene-Abuja, Kaduna-Kano, Katsina-Kano, Otukpo-Enugu, Enugu–Port Harcourt expressways. The order, explained the statement, was issued to enable ease of doing business in the country by guaranteeing the safety and free movement of goods and travelers

"To this end, no Police department, section, squad or unit should mount roadblock without the express permission of the Inspector-General of Police.

Short up since when have you been saying that. All he need to do was set up a task force investigating collecting bribes on our the high roads. The road block is a good idea but you just need to put mistery civilians watching the activities of the police in all states but I still see abuses. When he start sacking officers that his when we will take him serious.

There's only two ways I see this stopping. The guys at bottom stop channeling money to him at top. The second option is the government starts asking investigating and prosecuting high ranking officers. That's all everything else is a joke.

Mr IG . The is not matter of remover we need these people on the road most of US that we are business man and men that we always moving day and night for the security of our life and property please use other alternative measures to curb reason why you want to remove them . Thanks
