Highly Seconded. It's better to have peace, it's better to resolve this thing once for all. I nominate You, kog45 and tbaba1234 as members of the reconciliation team. Others can have positive input. Both of them erred.

Let me also say this generally it would greatly help if we all have the mind of Seun who owns nairaland who is self effacing and has no sense of entitlement. My thread, my thread, our thread, our thread no be am if it leads us to erecting walls around opinions we feel are sacrosanct. No opinion is unassailable. Again I tell you that views can be disagreed with in a most polite way and maybe even strongly without insults and name calling and put downs. Sometimes we do not have patience with contrary opinions. Not good enough please. I don't enjoy the dark views of Mickael2 but I know we need that healthy dose of scepticism for the sake of balance(fact is I don't like it but I like it). It's not for nothing that he and nerd do clash often(some have erroneously interpreted it as envy). He is the counterpoint to nerd's enthusiastic and positive views. Goodjoe always uses humour to blunt the edge of the axe of criticism and sometimes insults. Komekn is truly a British man, highly cultured and urbane.

I respect an intelligent man but I respect an intelligent heart more.

Well spoken. I can't agree with you more.

I know he will qualify us for the nations cup.

Age not on his side but he will still be active for the next 10years.
what about his salary wahala, if let's say we get to semi-final, his stock will rise there will be offers from other countries and even clubs. He might weigh his options and ditch us remember Herve Renard.

Ladies and gentlemen.

I am personally not happy with happenings here.
This is a thread that I always visit to make myself happy and I am sure so does most others here.

It is true this thread was formed by a few number of us but it has grown to what it is today because everybody is always welcomed here.

On the recent feud between TheSuperNerd and Pietorico. Both of them were wrong. And we have exhausted all energies to condemn their actions.

However, I cannot stay in a house that is divided. I don't know Pietorico that much cos he is not much of a regular here but TheSuperNerd I know very well and he is like a son to me.

I suggest we set up a reconciliatory committee.

Elders of the house and every one else I need your take on this.

He is one of our illustrious sons here and not withstanding his short comings we still need him here. He is a great guy.

I need 1,2 or 3 persons to agree with me on this so we settle this issue once and for all.

This thread has grown beyond a social media
It is now like a family. A house divided cannot stand.

I agree with Icons comments and suggestion and I must admit this also makes me happy whenever I read this thread. All in all, SuperNerd is my boy so I am confident that I can get him to cool his temper. But first thing first, I need to know what happened

i have no plans to practice. I get vexed easily, so I have no business in a court.

And yes, I use expletives out of my anger, she had no business accusing me falsely, I was brimming with anger when I read someone saying I did not support Supernerd when my first post was to support him. It's Chrismario that told me to correct my friend first, that was what led to me calling him out SOFTLY before oga tossed me aside.

It's the way TheSupernerd basically told me to shove my opinion down the drain that has me so vexed. What is the point of a friend if you can't advise them?

Henceforth, I will never intercede when people are quarreling. Na to mind my business dey like their posts I go dey do
You quite a feisty lady though. It's ok. Temper your anger since you are angry with your friend and not your enemy. Even your friend will - to your chagrin - as is the case here - reject your advise but Human freedom is what we must all respect.
I followed everything regarding this regrettable debacle. At the point where Bascovanveli and even at a time goodjoe called on nerdie to drop the dollophead jab is where he should have drawn the curtain. But human nature being what it is, he didn't and at the end blood was spilled all over the place. He's hurt by the insults to his mum (Growing up then on the Airforce Base person go look you just say ya Mama, ya papa with their hands thrust out- e no dey pain us again ) I understand his pain. Pietrorico didn't do well on that and he's acknowledged it(I am not happy how nerdie went and opened his own thread on the heels of the fallout but that's how he chose to react which even though I don't agree with, I am obliged to respect while hoping this thing would be resolved or resolve itself.

Let's have peace reign. Zambia is not up to two weeks from now. I am hoping we would qualify that day and pop e-wines

I'm in support of the peace move too Icon4s.

I think we should tune down our comparison a bit too because even the bible says de that compare themselves are not wise and also most comparison going on doesn't change the people engaging in it opinion because they'll surely stick to it no matter how hard and factual the supposed opponent's points are...

the best is drop your facts about things and anybody doesn't agree or align with them, no need persuading or beating the person into line to accept.

Key Nigeria Winger Suffers Muscle Strain Injury Ahead Of WCQ Vs Zambia
Published: September 27, 2017
Key Nigeria Winger Suffers Muscle Strain Injury Ahead Of WCQ Vs ZambiaSuper Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has received bad news from London, with one of the strikers called up for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia next Saturday struggling to get fit.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi suffered a quadriceps muscle strain injury few days before the Gunners faced West Brom, which ruled him out of the Premier League match.

Iwobi was not involved in Nigeria's World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon due to injury, and the Nigeria Football Federation had to call up Aaron Samuel in place of the Hale End Academy product.

And the same scenario may repeat itself if the former England U17 international is not declared fit by Arsenal medics in the coming days.

Alex Iwobi has played only 240 minutes for the Gunners first team in all competitions so far this season, from a possible 810 minutes.

Arsenal face BATE in the Europe League on Thursday, and it remains to be seen if the Super Eagle will be in their traveling party to Barysaw.

Yeah a good analysis.

Not bringing down the younger ones among us here but the truth is that some of us have been in the game for long and so we really understand how these things work. Experience they say is the best teacher.

Yesterday, humility said I was always defending the coaches and make them look super humans or something. The truth is that is their profession and they have loads of years of experience to back it up. You can't walk into a medical Doctor's office and start disproving his diagnosis, prescription or something.

Following the trend of build up of the national teams in the past I see this current team peaking between 2019 AFCON and 2022 WC. The relative lack of depth in experience in several department of the team may become an undoing at the critical stages of next year's WC. For eg our own Balogun "omo Dodondawa" is going to the world cup for the first time. With all his heroics here in African, his true test will come when he faces forwards like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Aguero, Sanchez, etc name them. We never knew Eguavoen was our weakest link in that 94 Class until Roberto Baggio exposed him.

I believe so much in this team. The quality is there and thus far the technical crew are maximizing it .

I defer to your wizened opinions. Experience truly matters. Though the goodjoe's criteria is that the best should be chosen but omo experience matters. A talented player can be swallowed up by the novelty of a daunting game. Your leg go just heavy - it's not that you not talented. You not just experienced.

I've always been on the side of experience but I go run follow indomie children (tongue in cheek) call for the talented Awaziem in the SA game. Both him and me hear am hot as I felt his upendedness in that game in my bones. Since then I am more cautious. A good team is one of balance where the players are talented as well as experienced. So this team is evolving and once it's core is established, fine tunings through inclusion of new players will be done gradually.

If Balogun had made it to Brazil, don't you think his inexperience would have been exposed.
But I hope you saw my sarcasm in that above statement.
There is now a certain Junior Pius of Tondela. These so called inexperienced players that have talent
should be given a chance in the absence of talented players.
Team building should be a continuos process. It's a great thing to have Awaziem in the team.
These will be the beasts if not in Russia, the period leading to Qatar.
And their presence now in the team will help matters more in future.

Modified
It is for the same reason Gernot Rohr was trying to integrate Osimhen early.

Truly is a faceless forum but with people's post or comments,we are able to unmask ourselves either in age, religion or where we come from which shows is no longer a faceless forum.

The maturity we always display here is going gradually and we need to take caution or else w lose it.This is not a place to show level but a place to interact, learn and make friends.

Hello everyone, been one of those ,that have been following this thread ,from day 1, from first page..

I have Never intended to post anything, but to just read ,and learn from great analyst here.

But the situation of things here is not good, and the thread needs to heal, so as one of elders of the readers crew, we agree that thesupernerd, is one of those, that reading his posts, excites us.., so we are not happy he left.. Buhhhh, opening his own thread is not a bad thing, but the series of thing that happened before it, is very bad

Now , the supernerd, correct guy, I like you, but truth is, you have broken some people heart by leaving, note(not because of opening your own thread),; but by leaving, when they asked you not to.. Not cool, they see you as family..

Now safari, honestly, i think you chased supernerd away, wait for it, don't get pissed yet, not intentionally tho, see ehn, that guy likes you, so it got to him that, that you called him "rude," it showed that you are a good friend by doing that, yes, buh you were probably too honest, and maybe you should HV been more pragmatic about it, the bluntness shocked him, e pain am, as a friend, he didn't expect the bluntness and the harshness I of the statement..

And the end of the day, thanks to all of you who keep educating me'\us on this thread..

come take drugs brothercheesy. Anyways some people's opinion vex me sometimes like when Kog45 said Ndidi is better than Busquets, I knew I would vex and start insulting the guy(and I know he is way older than me and I MUST respect him)so I just backed down. That's my way, despite the fact that this is an online forum, top guys like Icon4s who I know are my bonafide seniors I don't even reply their comments so that we won't even have any form of dispute, any new moniker I won't attack the person until I check out his age range and I hardly even attack without provocation.

I understand that you don't like my views about life but I always plan for the worse. I started having a negative attitude towards life when a guy I know finished secondary school as the best graduating student but he still had to stay at home a while looking for admission and then I figured out that you should always be prepared for the worst, don't always hope that the best will happen. That is why I always assume that we will lose until I am sure that every possible weak point is corrected, that is just me, you may not be like that but we can still co-exist in that diversity.

In this vein I would like to totally support Icon4s' gesture and I also plead with Safarigirl(my very own sister from Abia) to also join us. In that vein also I would like to apologise to anybody that I may have offended in the course of this conflict but it is high time we let it go. Safari, babe, you don't need to apologise because you did nothing wrong but do not expect an apology from him upfront, just bury the hatchet, 'sorry' must not always be said before peace reigns. Who knows, he may later come and apologise to you privately but if we continue like this we will never know peace. Chrismario and Pietrico(I expect you to show up Asap) please forgive him of any wrong-doing but please let this die a naturally death. Icon4s as the leader of the gang has decided to embark upon a wonderful peace-making mission, let's all support him.

On a side note sha, something like this MUST happen again, that's human psychology for you, the only suprising thing is that it took this long before it happened. But the most important thing is how we handle this matter today because it will influence how we handle subsequent matters when they happen, it is not fun going to theSuperNerd's thread and noticing that he comments, replies his own comments and discusses with a couple of Ghanians who are hardly ever there, our young friend is going haywire, let's just extend the hand of friendship, he wants it trust me, he may just be too reluctant to hold out his own hand first
Your views on our team is needed. Bitter medicine I guess but necessary and I can tell you that professionally I always looked at the weakness of our case (playing devil's advocate) scenario when we deliberate as a team and it does help.

You are quite a perceptive person. It's said that solitary confinement is the worst form of punishment ever devised by human beings - not torture, not electric shocks etc. You will just go mad. Interaction is what saves us from the hell fires of insanity.

Yes thus thing will happen again and again but it would be better if we try(like you have said you restrain yourself) to do without insults. And even if one is insulted it would be an act of grace to either ignore or to call the person's attention to it without going on a revenge spree. I like to think this is a team for all Nigerians, all lovers of our Super Eagles. Cheers

We can see from the coach interview is not really likely to change most of the players aside the goal keeping area and maybe left back...

Rohr won't change his winning team... Or else them flog his team.. Then he will start taking huge risk..

If you we can observe very well... Any player with huge mistake that leads to goal.. Are always at the bench...

From omeruo to ebuchi to Aweziem...

But If you are still giving 75percent performance in the team... You will surely get his nod to start ahead anybody...

Those players you mentioned are not regulars. So I don't agree with you.

If you we can observe very well... Any player with huge mistake that leads to goal.. Are always at the bench...

From omeruo to ebuchi to Aweziem...

But If you are still giving 75percent performance in the team... You will surely get his nod to start ahead anybody...

Ebuehi never made a huge mistake when he played...

Obinna Nwobodo came off the bench and gave two assists in his team 4:2 win.

come take drugs brothercheesy.

But the most important thing is how we handle this matter today because it will influence how we handle subsequent matters when they happen, it is not fun going to theSuperNerd's thread and noticing that he comments, replies his own comments and discusses with a couple of Ghanians who are hardly ever there, our young friend is going haywire, let's just extend the hand of friendship, he wants it trust me, he may just be too reluctant to hold out his own hand first
Michael2 if u insult me.Oh boy I go karate u like thegoodjoe ni o.

Oh on Ndidi better than Bousquets na patriotism i used talk am o

I like the way you are thinking. Keeping the expectation not too high.
This is a young team. we hope for the best in Russia,
but we should not write-off Rohr or the regular starters, should the team not go for in Russia, but stick by them.

I am confident that if we give Rohr even more time we will go very far in Qatar.

Madam libero808 you made my heart beats more than normal Beats per seconds by your bold words.
