On the ground that we see ourselves as family, SuperNerd should feel very very free to come back without any iota of ego. Nobody pressured him to leave in the first place. I believe he wants to return, but for the indirect "go-to-hell" calls, he will feel very reluctant. Pietorico has apologized to the house. That is an acknowledgement from him that there should be some set limits as to how far we can go to insult others. I wan't to believe such will not repeat itself. Should Pietorico appologize directly, It should be for the purpose of making peace, and not "beg" him to return. SuperNerd should apologize for trying to rope us in, and using that as a reason for leaving. I can't remember if he called us names in the process. I've had a couple fight with safarigirl, and we moved on easily.. sometimes "sorry" don't have to be said. the simple act of replying to my post after our initial fight already tells me that she wants to move on, and I have no option to move on in the same spirit..

We should all try (I take God beg us). Where that our pastor? I beg quote Bible for us. We should all try to disagree in a respectful manner regardless of our ages or status in society. One moniker once said he engages everyone regardless of their ages or status in life -- I can't remember exactly which. I like that spirit. I will never mention what I do in real life here, to what end? I have a HEALTHY level of self esteem, so I won't be seeking any form of attention or reverence online. Come to think of it, even in the real world how will you know your genuine friends if they are all around you for what you are? People who know me personally down to my family know what I stand for. I will say it as it is regardless of your status. I stand for what I believe to be true always. And I no dey look face. We can hardly live up to 100 years in this world, and we are not taking anything away from this world. Whatever we achieve we will leave behind for... who knows if it will be managed well or wasted. All vanity. Let's stand for truth and peace always.

This is a thread that I always visit to make myself happy and I am sure so does most others here.

It is true this thread was formed by a few number of us but it has grown to what it is today because everybody is always welcomed here.

On the recent feud between TheSuperNerd and Pietorico. Both of them were wrong. And we have exhausted all energies to condemn their actions.

However, I cannot stay in a house that is divided. I don't know Pietorico that much cos he is not much of a regular here but TheSuperNerd I know very well and he is like a son to me.

I suggest we set up a reconciliatory committee.

Elders of the house and every one else I need your take on this.

He is one of our illustrious sons here and not withstanding his short comings we still need him here. He is a great guy.

I need 1,2 or 3 persons to agree with me on this so we settle this issue once and for all.

Mickael2:

we fell short because we got a penalty in the first half when Evra was holding Osaze during a corner kick, the ref saw it but because no nigerian player complained he didnt give the penalty but later went over to warn Evra. We lost that game because when we were a goal down, Mikel got a blatant chance which he missed, with that chance in the back of the net we would have dragged the game to penalties and, ofcourse, Enyeama saves.
our players were to passive at that tournament. Eminike's goal was no offside to start with, they took out Onazi with a red card worthy tackle yet still none of them complained-Mikel was just there smiling etc.

Our players need to be a bit aggressive-I no like all this gentleman football

Sometimes I think there is an unsaid rule that the refs have to support teams that will guarantee crowds in the stands.
After all is the overall purpose not to make money?
Of course they don't succeed all the time

I believe that I have made a similar observation regarding Ndidi. For some reasons, he doesn't boss the game for the Super Eagles the same way he bosses for Leicester. I don't know what the problem is .... is he not giving a 100% when he plays for Nigeria? Anyway, I will give him one more chance against Zambia before I get on his case.

AIG07:
Sir, have you watched him play recently? Though Ndidi is a great tackler, he seems to be having problems with the ball at his feet. I don't even know what is happening to him- maybe he is been overused.

The other's need to prove that they deserve a spot in the team oh

we have players out there that can make a good bench for us. We have them both home and abroad. Just scout them and no sentiment attached unlike that of 2014 worldcup, where flavour(uchebo) from nowhere was taken to the worldcup and papa Shola Ameobi

Seriously, I would like to see the guy pull his weight against Zambia. He's one our best and most important players; hence, he ought to take the game by the neck and not just coast through.

No fears about Ndidi. If he is already playing at this level at least at his age, it tells us that he will go really really far.
Playing for country has it's different challenges.
There are players that put in a better performance for country than their clubs.

Put Muazam or Mathews in the same championship team with Tega, and the later would hardly make the match day squad. Waffy bwoy, u over hype these English born Nigerian kids

Forgive my ignorance but who are Muazem and Matthews and in what way are they better than Tega. Please give substantive answers.

I have watched Tega since he was 15/16 maybe earlier. And he was at a time the most technically gifted player in Tottenham's academy. He has played at all age group levels for England.

He has played over 30 games for Tottenham first team. Considering he has top quality international capped players ahead of him. His progress has been restricted. The need for first team football made him go on loan.

In addition he is bona-fide 20 years old.

To me, if you can't learn from the mistakes you've made then....

I think Rorh has been unfair to Ebuehi, we were 4 goals up, why not bring him on for Victor Moses instead of Musa? Let him have a taste of what playing for Naija is like.
