Wow. The first lady is really pissed off right now!

Nne, na so it pain you reach? Oya, can to papi .... poppa would take care of ya grin

I don't think ANYBODY on this thread understands how pained I am by what TheSuperNerd said to me

Three days down and it is still paining me and that nextlevel has the guts to yarn trash, I could have slapped him if he was in front of me, I swear, na so e pain me reach.

I should have defended him by attacking Piet so that people like nextlevel will say Safarigirl has started again, okwa ya?

Even when somebody wants to avoid trouble, all you agents of darkness will still find a way to bring out the demon in them.

Nobody should mention me again as regards the support of Supernerd, because nobody has supported him as much as I have on this thread. I corrected him because he is my friend and he deserves the truth.

I know my faults, I know I'm stubborn, I know I can talk trash, I know I can be intolerant, there is nobody that wants to say shiiit about me that I don't know, but apparently, nobody has told Supernerd his own, so he needs to hear it.

Since he said he does not give a hoot my opinion, he can phuck off.

Heard we have spies in Zambia. I think they will field 90% of the guys that played against Algeria.

No offense but it doesn't take a spy to figure out that Zambia will play us with the same team that beat Algeria home and away. Like the saying goes 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'.

Nna, thank you!

You've just nailed what the issue is. I have been surprised that the boy didn't break into the Super Eagles team after the Olympics and/or even get a top Euro team to sign him. He was definitely our best player in Rio. Well, maybe he needs to change his agent.

However, I will make sure that he makes the World Cup team if we qualify .... even if I have to visit Rohr in Abuja to get that done.

Icon4s:

Let me chip in on this Azubuike issue.

Azubuike is a player I rate so highly. But the problem is just like Shehu Abdulahi he seems not to have a good agent.

Remember his heroics at the CAF U23 (Olympics) qualifiers even then as an 18years old. You saw his inputs in the midfield of that Olympics team.

He was one of the standout performers from the Olympics.

Remember also that Azubuike played for the Super Eagles against Egypt in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers. You saw how he was able to combine excellently well with Etebo in that midfield.

I have not been impressed with Mikel Agu for the two occasions I have watched him play for the Super Eagles.

You can quote me any where, I rate Azubuike Okechukwu more than Mikel Agu.

People seem to forget the boy is just 20 years old and just still emerging.

To me, if you can't learn from the mistakes you've made then....

I think Rorh has been unfair to Ebuehi, we were 4 goals up, why not bring him on for Victor Moses instead of Musa? Let him have a taste of what playing for Naija is like.

Yea but maybe Rohr is not sold on him. U don't want to lock him in when u won't even use him. IMO it is bad publicity if we cap players and end up not using them.

I am looking at that position and making let's say creating some ideas. Albeit from my backyard.
Aside S. Ojo who is a natural LW. Who else do you think can man the LB position.

I hope it's time Rohr begins to experiment with other formations with 3 man defence Since we have more attack minded potent defenders in Aina, Ebuehi, ojo(if he is ready to play for naija) who can also fit in easily at LWB to complement v. Moses at the other side.

They were playing a weaker side in the first game. Moses is an established regular.

Zappacosta has to work extra hard to displace him

let's say we get lucky like Ghana. If we meet Uruguay in the Quaterfinals then I totally believe that we can qualify unlike what happened to Ghana.

You see this is why I hate interacting with dimwits. So mickael2 is now being 'bitchy and blabbing nonsense?' I am now going very low because I have a 'psychological problem', please for those who saw that senseless and utterly stupid comment from theSuperNerd y'all should come and speak up now. Icon4s I have respected you well enough but this one makes no sense. Of everybody that said that Pietrico had no option but hit below the belt it is only mickael2 that has a 'psychological problem'. I am going to bottle up my emotions for now though, I have an exam coming up soon so if nobody calls him to order from now till when I am done with my exams next two weeks then y'all had better be ready for a seriously heated round 2

Ladies and gentlemen.

I am personally not happy with happenings here.
This is a thread that I always visit to make myself happy and I am sure so does most others here.

It is true this thread was formed by a few number of us but it has grown to what it is today because everybody is always welcomed here.

On the recent feud between TheSuperNerd and Pietorico. Both of them were wrong. And we have exhausted all energies to condemn their actions.

However, I cannot stay in a house that is divided. I don't know Pietorico that much cos he is not much of a regular here but TheSuperNerd I know very well and he is like a son to me.

I suggest we set up a reconciliatory committee.

Elders of the house and every one else I need your take on this.

He is one of our illustrious sons here and not withstanding his short comings we still need him here. He is a great guy.

I need 1,2 or 3 persons to agree with me on this so we settle this issue once and for all.

This thread has grown beyond a social media
It is now like a family. A house divided cannot stand.
Who is with me on this?

cc: enomakos, Kog45, eterisan, TheGoodJoe, confun, Joseph1013, tbaba1234, Terzurum5, forgiveness, joebie, goldfish80, michael2, safarigirl, icon79, Bascovanveli, komekn, omanbala, Nigerdeltaboi, soetanoreoluwa. Pardon me if your moniker is missing.

I think this whole fiasco have been over stretched beyond reasonable proportion. I view this thread like a gentleman's lounge where people discuss football matters around the world from the stand point of the Super Eagles. Kickoff and Sl10 used to be like that till they packed up m
When Sl10 was about to go moribund, one of the regular guys there suggested a Nigerian football forum should be developed since the South African owned websites seemed to be shutting down on Nigerian football unfortunately his efforts with a certain blog wasn't fruitful.

Sorry I had to go down the memory lane abit but it was very necessary I did because if by an unnecessary over bloated ego, we kill this thread, we cannot blame the South Africans this time.

I support the peace move to mend fences but I must be honest and plain. TheSuperNerd needs to watch how he has a go at people. It was not necessary to start name calling and throwing bile at someone and except the opposite side to stand down.

I have been insulted a numerous times on this thread but I know how to handle such indiscretions.

Haven been part of a few E-wars myself from the early days of twitter (blackberry vs Snaptu users) to Kick-off, Sl10 and a few nairaland tribal battles with ethnocentric fellows like dayokanu, Desole, egg headers and the likes. E war is not a good thing. It consumes the body and soul of participants.

I support any reconciliation move at this point.

I don't know the character of the Pietorico *spelling but it appears he have moved on. I support every reconciliation move to bring thesupernerd back. This snafu isn't big enough to quit the thread.

I don talk my mind.

Firstly the EPL is the most international league in the World without any doubt. The 5/6 top EPL clubs are capable of fielding a 1st 11 without a single English players. On average the top 5 clubs will very rarely have more than 3/4 English players in the team.

In comparison the the Spanish, Italian, German, French, Portuguese first division teams are the complete opposite.

Your analogy is without substance as national team prominence and or superiority is not a reflection of the domestic league quality.

Which leagues do the top players in the world play? What league does the cream of the Dutch team play in.

England is ranked currently at about 15 but the EPL is ranked in the top 3 in the world in some assessments it is ranked number 1

So your comments is prejudiced sentiment very far from objective observations and or measurement.

your last paragraph was not necessary...
because we all don't reason the same way...
I understand you took it personal...because you feel i berates England...in my words.

you can tell with the exception of Chelsea and man city the rest top 5 club in the epl have over 4 English players...moreover going by your previous assertion on this thread....you do believe the supremacy of the English championship over the 11th place team beneath in German Budisliga, French league, Belgium etc wit the exception of Spain
so why the fuss?
the truth remains those players paraded by England in last world cup and European nations cup where Iceland sent them packing are all from the epl and sure starters in their various clubs....
same epl you hype here every day.

let me say this.....you see publicity and the media hype don't play football...
players do...and right there in the field of play you can never give what you don't have.

same Iceland wit a league you will even compare to supreme epl under 19 wallop them and in the world cup they manage to draw Costa Rica....

i just want to let you...know...
that playing in the epl should not be a standard you rate dear players of super eagles....
or any other good players elsewhere.

I am watching the match live and I expected Anderlecht to be beat Celtic comprehensively. However, they are loosing 2-0 at home. Celtic us the dominant team hear and look mire likely to score with 2 minutes to go minus injury time.

So I am at loss how you can be loosing at home and the commentators are saying Onyekuru is the best player here.

That's not what I am seeing at all Onyekuru is from what I see is struggling to get a dominant foothold in the game.

The aforementioned players have showed great promise. But I think they are not ripe for SE. Jupiler League's quality is suspect.

Anderlecht were woeful as a whole. Could barely put two passes together. Onyekuru showed a few flashes but his team was horrible. No wonder they have had a poor start to the season.
