Celtic in the Scottish premier League which is ranked 25th in Europe has comprehensively flogged Anderlecht. Of which the Belgium league is ranked in position 8.

Let us not forget. This is Celtic's first ever win in Belgium. Anderlecht has been in poor form from the start of the season.

Top 5?
I don't even rate the league in the top 10.
But how does UEFA rate them? Let me check

Jupiler league is a developmental league. It can't compete with the top 5.

Did you see their performance last year in the Europa League? It is rated 8th, i believe.

I will love to see him play in France, Spain or Germany.
He still has some good years ahead of him.

Nna, thank you!

You've just nailed what the issue is. I have been surprised that the boy didn't break into the Super Eagles team after the Olympics and/or even get a top Euro team to sign him. He was definitely our best player in Rio. Well, maybe he needs to change his agent.

However, I will make sure that he makes the World Cup team if we qualify .... even if I have to visit Rohr in Abuja to get that done.

O pari

Rorh never invited him for the qualifiers. I doubt he'd see enough to be convinced in involving him in the world cup.

Yea but maybe Rohr is not sold on him. U don't want to lock him in when u won't even use him. IMO it is bad publicity if we cap players and end up not using them.

ah tell you.

Let see, subsequently he be given a chance in the future.

PEOPLE should always have in mind that the INTERNET is a very CRAZY place to be,where u can hear some of the worst things in the world.
The internet is NASTY ,people can utter some crazy words they can never ever say in the real life,at any slightest provocation.
people of the INTERNET don't mind who u are, what u can do or not, irrespective of who you are,you must receive insults as far as the CHILDREN of the internet is concerned.
even the presidents,no one here have the kind of insults all our presidents have received, exp. BUHALI and GEJ.

The INTERNET is not a place u should attached importance and your emotions to,u should be able to have complete control of your emotions if u must engage anyone in ARGUMENTS here, arguments itself in real life is already provocative, how much more the internet.
The INTERNET is deeper than u thought,we should all know that, only 4% of the INTERNET can be accessed by the public, the rest 96% is DEEP web and Dark web,can only b accessed secretly.

the internet is not a place we should give all our emotions, our strength when trying to win an arguments.
moreover u can never win an argument according to a certain scholar, most times it ends badly.

PEOPLE of the internet don't give a HOOT about anybody, let me borrow this infamous phrase sha, most times people just want to have fun by making trash of other peoples opinions, not that they are actually serious or meant what they were saying.
for me the phrase ''I DON'T GIVE A HOOT'' is not that strong to make someone extremely mad,the phrase simply means ''I DON'T CARE'',but we are all different in our understanding.
in no way that i'm trying to support what anybody did wrong, perhaps Thesupernerd ought have find another better way to reject miss Safaigirl's opinion ,because both of them are of best ally, having supported her opinions almost all the time.
and i'm sure Thesupernerd didn't meant that he doesn't care about miss Safari's opinions in general, but it was only on that very context alone.
and he had expected one of his best ally in this thread should stood by his side no matter what, even if he was wrong, but was disappointed.
and miss Safari on the other hand didn't see those kind of words coming from HIM. everything just got out of control from there.

to me everybody that was involved in this whole fracas and brawl should ALL accept his or her MISTAKES, because all is wrong.
if mr NERD had listened when he was advised gently, the whole thing would not have reached this crescendo, where someone's mum would b involved.
and the POTORICO guy ,if had stopped when he should have,no egg would have been broken.
in the first place no one have the right,or should have insulted any one in this thread,or use any negative word against anybody at all in this thread,it does not matter the magnitude of the insult, insult is an insult,
Jesus said even if u said ''YOU RACCA'' u are still subject to the same judgement.
but in our society today, sins are been handled according to it's seriousness.
the guy who went as far targeting someone's mum was way out of proportion,i don't know how to put it,it shows no maturity.

concerning the new THREAD he opened,my advice to Thesupernerd is to come back and make peace with this thread first ,become part of it once again.
and his new thread would still continue. if he can set ego aside,he will see how many will start visiting and commenting on his new THREAD.
because bible says ''ALL THINGS WORKS TOGETHER FOR GOOD...''
and another words wisdom says ''THERE IS DIVINITY THAT SHAPES OUR ENDS,ROUGH-HEW THEM HOW WE WILL'' -

and every other person that was affected in between the fight apart from Thenerd and Poto guy should also calm down, let us have peace before the big game.

cos since 3 days, each time i visited the the to read some updates, this same issue was always on d discussion,
i did not even bother to read all of them, because i don't usually waste my time the thing not related to football here.
i hope i have not offended anybody. i did not meant to

Ladies and gentlemen.

I am personally not happy with happenings here.
This is a thread that I always visit to make myself happy and I am sure so does most others here.

It is true this thread was formed by a few number of us but it has grown to what it is today because everybody is always welcomed here.

On the recent feud between TheSuperNerd and Pietorico. Both of them were wrong. And we have exhausted all energies to condemn their actions.

However, I cannot stay in a house that is divided. I don't know Pietorico that much cos he is not much of a regular here but TheSuperNerd I know very well and he is like a son to me.

I suggest we set up a reconciliatory committee.

Elders of the house and every one else I need your take on this.

He is one of our illustrious sons here and not withstanding his short comings we still need him here. He is a great guy.

I need 1,2 or 3 persons to agree with me on this so we settle this issue once and for all.

This thread has grown beyond a social media
It is now like a family. A house divided cannot stand.
Who is with me on this?

They have been poor this year but Tottenham could not beat Gent, home and Away last year.

Genk beat Athletico Bilbao

Genk still had Ndidi and Leon Bailey. They have sold both players now

Zambia coach Wedson Nyirenda is quiet the spiritual one and is convinced “this is our time” ordained by God to defeat Nigeria.

Nyirenda has worked the miracle with the Chipolopolo guiding them to home and away wins against Algeria.

The victory last month moved the Zambians to just three points behind Nigeria having previously had just one point from two games.

Anything short of at least a point in Uyo come October 7 ends their resurgence and hope of booking a maiden World Cup spot.

But, Nyirenda has become quite the believer, and favors his side’s chances at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

“The game will be highly psychological, therefore we are working on their mental strength before the match,” the Zambia coach offered per scorenigeria.com

“Every player and everyone on our bench know and believe that this time is our time. God can only show you the fish and it is up to you to fish it out.”

He just want to get himself fit before the world cup...

don't waste your time with this type of talk, and beating Algeria home and away means nothing,if Algeria were still in the race to qualify, the result would have been different,go and ask home base eagles about that, when they beat ghana when nothing was at stake.

your last paragraph was not necessary...
because we all don't reason the same way...
I understand you took it personal...because you feel i berates England...in my words.

you can tell with the exception of Chelsea and man city the rest top 5 club in the epl have over 4 English players...moreover going by your previous assertion on this thread....you do believe the supremacy of the English championship over the 11th place team beneath in German Budisliga, French league, Belgium etc wit the exception of Spain
so why the fuss?
the truth remains those players paraded by England in last world cup and European nations cup where Iceland sent them packing are all from the epl and sure starters in their various clubs....
same epl you hype here every day.

let me say this.....you see publicity and the media hype don't play football...
players do...and right there in the field of play you can never give what you don't have.

same Iceland wit a league you will even compare to supreme epl under 19 wallop them and in the world cup they manage to draw Costa Rica....

i just want to let you...know...
that playing in the epl should not be a standard you rate dear players of super eagles....
or any other good players elsewhere.

football in England is over rated, but the league is the most interesting, if u select up 70 % to 80% of your players from EPL,you can never reach quarter finals in world cup.
if u select all players from EPL,thank God if u make it from the group stage.
