This old idiot instead of you to focus on issues that relates to your ordinary Imo state you are busy trying to rewrite history. Who told you bastard that Nri originated from Igala? Nri in the present Anambra is where all Igbos came from and it has nothing to do with Igala. FYI: Nri is the origin of the entire Igbo race and your attempt to link it to Igala is dead on arrival. Stop spewing rubbish all the time. Again stop writing Awka and your Orlu on the same sentence because they have nothing in common. Awka as a core Igbo enclave has a very long history and culture dating back to the year 1200. [s] Abagworo:[/s] Read below is to cure your insecurity and stupid ignorance as all Igbos originated from Nri.

This thread should be on the front page. I never knew ibos were dominated by the igala people in the years gone by.They were supreme cowards who couldn't defend their territories and probably won the Nsukka conflict by excessive breeding to outnumber the gallant igala soldiers 2 Likes |

Babalegba: There is still more to learn about that aspect of history. The Igala conquered quite a number of northern Igbo towns. Are you even aware that Asaba people descended from an Igala warrior Prince? |

The only thing i know of the Igalas is that they were seen by other tribes as foolish back in the days, thats why "Onuku Igala" which means my Igala friend is used as Insult in Igbo language if an Igbo calls u onuku beat am well and when he adds salt to the Injury by calling it in full to Onuku igala na better insult be dat o my Igbo mum dont waste time in Calling us Onuku igala when we misbehaved |

laudate:that one is for sure. We are now talking about the whole region of SE against a section of kogi state. SE= 40,000 km2 (16,000 sq mi) Igala land = landmass covering about 40,000 square kilometers that is centrally located in Nigeria bellow the confluence of rivers Niger and Benue. 1 Like |

pazienza: This thread is all about stop calling others slaves of hausa/fulani because the tribes you are calling slaves worked really hard to stop the invasion of the caliphate towards Biafra Land and that Igala helped to bring civilization from The Nok Civilization to your Land. 1 Like |

ankpaa: Igala had no civilization to offer to anyone, other than the Islamic knowledge you caliphate masters conferred your with. You can't give what you don't have. Those who stopped Caliphate advance into Northern Igboland were the Tivs not Igalas who were soundly and truly mostly islamized. This thread is all about delusion of grandiose and cheap popularity seeking by clinging unto Ndiigbo whose any news about sell more than Gala in a traffic. 2 Likes |

pazienza: What is it about religion with you people?Islam ,christianity or whatever religion was never mentioned when this post was created yet you keep referencing Islam and all that.Granted the Tivs stopped the advancement ,tommorow if Paul Unongo or Abubakar tsav Tiv Men speak you will start calling them a Slave of hausa/fulani forgetting Tiv saved you from being conquered. Good to know that you are aware of this fact that a northern minority saved you.Another question is Why cant you stay and compete with the Caliphate or rather Almajiris in Nigeria and use your Ndigbo swag to outdo them, why the call for Biafra and trying to chicken out ? why causing unwarranted hate and tension all over. What is the problem? What hardship are you facing that others are not facing? |
Re: Igala Colonisation Of Northern Igbo States (1450-18th Century) by pazienza(m): 11:12am On Sep 28, 2017 |
ankpaa: Tiv did it for themselves, not for Ndiigbo. If they overwhelmed Tivs, Ndiigbo would have been forced to unite and tackle them to a stand still, Ndiigbo don't tolerate slavery /subjugation, we put up a fight against the Caucasians, even in far away Americas, the Igbo slave was never subservient, if we could do that against the Caucasians, the less advanced people like Hausa Fulani wouldn't have stood a chance subjugating Igboland. We are not interested in competing for relevance in an irrelevant failed Third World country like Nigeria, we are not others, our actions had never been dictated by those of others, we are not going to settle for mediocrity because the rest of Nigerian groups are comfortable with that, we are never scared of standing out, herd mentality is not our forte. Why waste effort competing for a failed third world country with groups we share next to nothing in common, when we can break out of the rat race, and channel the energy into building a prosperous developed nation of our own? 5 Likes |

ankpaa: More like a less advanced with colonial British backing. It's the British, not the less advanced that we are up against. The less advanced can't manufacture weapons, they would have to import them all from their colonial masters. They can't win Ndiigbo in a war without colonial Caucasian influence. 2 Likes |

pazienza: British left 57 years back and you are still complaining British, you are more educated and more enlightened as you claim yet you have been crying for years of oppression by the Almajiris. Why not accept that your game is not strong. British bequeathed a regional system to us, was it not the same you people that terminated that system and killed leaders from other regions and left yours? What was the motivation for doing that ? |
Re: Igala Colonisation Of Northern Igbo States (1450-18th Century) by pazienza(m): 4:22am On Sep 29, 2017 |
ankpaa: Lol! Still going in circles with the Ironsi dissolved the regions cheap blackmail, when it was indeed Gowon that did. Not that it matters who did. What matters is what Ndiigbo need. If you ever think London and recently Washington don't still have firm control on their colonial estate called Nigeria, then you are not as educated as you think. Almajiris themselves are loyal slaves to the British, they are like their care takers of the colonial estate. They derive their power directly from London and NATO. The British left in person, but appointed loyal stooges that run the colonial estate for them. There was never an independence. 2 Likes |
