Hmmm that backline of Shehu, Ekong , Balogun and Echiejile has really come a long way.

.

The same played out at the Olympics. We missed him against the Germans. The rest is history. The only grouse I have with him is his affinity for getting carded. But if you are looking for someone to neutralize an opponents attack, with good passing ability while mikel Obi is upfront, then Azubuike is your man

We missed Azubuike in the Olympics because team selection was poor. We had no replacement. If Agu or Ndidi had been selected, we would have been fine.

Azubuike has featured at senior level asides Olympics. Go and watch the Nigeria vs Egypt game. He IMO is one of the most underrated youngsters we have. While some others are being over-hyped Azubuike is being underrated.

I personally rate him slightly lower than Etebo.

I wonder who his representatives are.

I am sure you know i am not in the habit of hyping or projecting young players unnecessarily but if I see one that has the quality I project.

I am not Rohr but I will take him in my squad ahead of Mikel Agu.

One of my biggest issues with Azubuike in the Olympics and even before that was poor positional discipline. Playing as a lone DM, he drifts out of position way too often.

He is a great prospect if his declared age is true or even close to true. Rating him close to Etebo is hyping in my opinion. He would do a decent job though.

Really depends on what you mean by quality?

The EPL is not the most technically superior league in Europe, but with regards to speed and physical intensity it is numero 1 indisputable.

Not every top player cam cope with the EPL I actually think Neymar would not find it easy in the EPL.
You kinda obsessed with the EPL. I like that league but your own na almost fanatical devotion. We talking Zambia but you going on and on about the EPL. Kai komekn cheesy

Icon4s, this is my comment after one of the Olympic games. Note comments on Azubuike.

The high line and pressing leaves the defense exposed. A well organized team will expose them on the counter. If you want to play like Barca, you press as a team.

Azubuike is not sitting in the defensive midfield. He is out of position most of the time.

Sincere Seth is not a center defender shehu is not a right back. Shehu was at fault for the second by not maintaining the defense line. kept the player onside.

Sadiq umar, Imoh Ezekiel and etebor... the stars of the show

Remember our argument centres on comparison with Mikel Agu.

Then the description you gave of Azubuike is typical of DMs his age.

But you same how he marshalled the position against Egypt.

He actually spoke the fact. He clearly said the EPL is not technically superior. In terms of speed and intensity is there any league that compares with the EPL?

I didn't impugn the facts. Only his overweening devotion to the EPL. Generally not just EPL, anything English.

Mikel Heads To Nigeria For Zambia Tie With MOTM Award In Tianjin Teda Big Win

Captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria John Obi Mikel will arrive Nigeria on Sunday ahead of their October 7th World Cupar 2018 Qualifiers clash against Zambia in Uyo.

Mikel was voted the Man of The Match (MOTM) for his Chinese side Tianjin Teda in their 3-1 win over Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng, which helped them move out of the basement of the League table in the Chinese Super League.

Although he didn’t get on the score sheet, he was very lively and set up the third goal which helped his team kill off the tie after Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng have pulled a goal back.

His performance in the game lead to many fans of the club attributing their poor season to his absence after injury ruled him out for three months, few games into the start of the Chinese season.

The Chinese league won’t have weekend games, this is so done to allow players called up by their national team to honour the call, and travel on time due to the miles involve in traveling from China.

honestly my bro, I get banned too sometimes. But most times I suspect it's when I make quick posts in succession from AllNigeriaSoccer, OwnGoal etc.
Other times after I get into some fights.. lol I've noticed that once or maybe twice.. People use their last power available in those instances. But shake it off my brother. Have a thick skin.

We are still waiting for TheSuperNerd 's return. And pietrorico as well

Uchebo!!!! Turns out the guy was 39 when he went to that World Cup(this is from an insider) and he totally burnt himself out during the friendlies prior to the world cup and when we got to the world cup he could barely run for 5mins. The guy sha did well during the friendly games we played before the world cup then.

Ramon Azeez is now in Lugo sha, he is doing quite well but...

Yes, the buck rest on Rohrs shoulders.
Joebie:
Yes, some people towed your line of reasoning after the second match against Cameroon, and Rohr was asked about it. Let's see if Rohr will try Ogu instead next time. Everything will depend on how the players fare in SE colors prior to Russia.
