Good noon Guys Pls i'm a newbie and i really really need help on this whole thing I wanna apply for an institution in NBCC - New Brunswick Community College, for Business Admistration - Management as 1st choice and Business Administration - Investment Management as 2nd choice. Tho, i have a National Diploma in OTM- Office Technology and Management 1st Class Upper @ Laspotech Isolo campus but, i haven't gotten my Certificate yet but soon sha But my huge problem is that, i don't have my Junior Secondary School (2001-2004) Credentials at hand. Only have my Senior Secondary school (2004-2007) Testimonial and School Waec Result which has bad grades. But i have a 2009 GCE result i did which has good grades at hand So where i'm confused is the place i was asked to fill in my Secondary school info on the school app form. Pls can i fill in only my Senior Sec School (2004-2007) level only? Or i must also include the Junior Sec School (2001-2004) level too? And again, if i am asked to upload my Secondary School Testimonial and Waec result + Sec school transcript which am nt sure i can get. Pls can i upload the GCE original result copy and the 2004-2007 Sec School testimonial n leave out my Sec School Waec bad result out of it? Pls ur response is needed. Thanks |

Good evening house. I collected my passport last week, I was refuse based on this following reasons. 1. I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources without working in Canada to pay the tuition fees for the course that you intend to pursue. 2.travel history. 3. Family ties. 4. Purpose of visit. Please gurus in the house how do I tackle this reasons. Thanks |

Incline:$3000 on visa application? That's funny, and the fact that it is not your friend (that really want to use an agent) that wants to pay thethe aunt makes it funnier. He can do it on his own and spend less than #60000(less than $200). |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Holabisi: 11:24pm On Oct 04, 2017 |
Sleemzy13:. You do not need your junior secondary school results, all u need is your senior secondary results which in your case GCE. You will need to send them a photocopy of your WAEC result and attach a WAEC scratch card ..that should be all..you will find all this information after filling and submmiting the online application of NBCC. |

Big appreciation to all those keeping the thread alive! I hope to start my application next year but I have an issue. I studied law and is practising but I want to study Human Resources. Now from the information I gathered here there are two reasons for granting a student permit, all things being equal, these are, the course you are applying for must be in line with your first degree or must be relevant to your field of employment. So what do I do? If I apply to a school and get admission to study LLM and student permit is granted, can I change my course and school once I get to Canada, hope there is no penalty for doing this? Your comments are welcome and greatly appreciated. To my TRV people, your testimony is sure! |

TITILOLA88: Your course of study must not always be in line with your first degree or employment. Surely makes things easier if it is. But if you can convince the VO why you had to change to Human resources and they buy the explanation, no problem. Many a soul who have not played it safe, have done this successfully. Perhaps an experience with the human resource aspects of where you work gave you that interest? What is it? Be prepared to justify. Or you can play it safe for now by applying and getting accepted for an LLM. Yes you can change courses once in Canada and the school approves it or when you transfer to another school. Remember whatever you do, VOs are looking for conviction and that is what will win you a study permit at the end of the day. |

Holabisi: Thanks Holabisi for your response Pls another problem is that, the sponsor i wanna use is my Father and he has 2 companies and i work for him as an Account manager but, the issue is, the company accounts both UK n Nig is not in his personal name but, d Company name and i do read on here that it is not advisable to use a company name as a sponsor 4 study permit, pls wat can i do abt dis issue? Or is there any chance my Sponsor can convince the VO that, the company account is his own? And again, the 2 companies are into different works 1 is Air and Sea Freight Services (Cargo) whilst the other is Building And Construction Company. So i'm a bit worried if the course i'm applying for which is Business Administration - Management as 1st choice and Business Administration - Investment Management as 2nd choice is related to my post (Account Manager) in office and the work we do? Plus is it also related to the course i had before which is (OND) National Diploma in (OTM) Office Technology and Management? Pls help a brother o, cuase i am yet to pay my app fee |

Good morning guys i was denied canada visa in August for purpose of visit and travel history, so a friend introduce me to nairaland so i did go through all pages and find out that i need to request for my gcms note, my note came in yesterday this is what the visa officer wrote... reviewed applications wife and spouse marriage cert on file shows were married- married no children travel to Malaysia where applicant indicates she was a student from 2010-2014-Bsc info technology indicates since Sept 2016 been working as a data administrator for Bleep company- this appears to be her spouse company---to study at the college grad cert at Conestoga college- father indicate he will cover her expense- spouse produce bank document- the applicant has failed to satisfy me that the course of studies is reasonable given the high cost of international study in Canada when weighed against the potential career/employment benefits, the local options available for similar studies, and applicant's personal circumstances. concern applicant is using study permit as means to facilitate entry to Canada rather than educational advancement .Based on this information, i am not satisfied that applicant will leave Canada end of authorized stay...refused studied BSC in information technology going to PGC in information technology in bussines analyst, i have would have gone for MSC but i have 2.2. pls guys to be honest an agent help me on this application cos the same agent did for a friend of my before, so when i check the SOP it was not good at all, but now am doing it myself this time around, and i also have a child but not from this marriage which i told the agent but she said she put the child name as my siblings thinking might raise a red flag. so now i want to put my son in my application would it be a problem? and also the company above is my dad's not spouse i guess the VO made a mistake but i already left the company after submitting my application....please gurus in the house please help. 1 Like |

colestephan86:First I will like to know how much is your wife's tuition fee? Well if you say you want to apply with your wife at the same time what will both if you use as your hometie? it will be safer if you allow her apply first then when her trv has been approved you can now apply for yours. Though people apply with their spouse at the same time but trust me you guys have a better chance with her applying alone then you follow after her's has been approved. |

While we are sending PMs and discussing in private, let us still try to drop our profiles and related inquiry regarding our visa on this thread. This is to keep the thread lively and very rich in new trends of denials and approvals. We just saw some interesting GCMS Notes talking about online presence etc. We need to come back to the thread and keep it going. My Bosses, please encourage private enquiriers to do so on this thread. Remind them that they get broader perspectives from here. This will also give you a little time to help review our sops as we will continue to bombard you with them. Some gurus have started school and are too busy, but there are many more that have been groomed and are available to answer while we wait for the bosses input at their spare time. Bottom Line: Keep it going. Keep it alive. Yes... I've been a silent reader. Started reading from part 9. 4 Likes |
