I can't forget my teacher, Mr. Ogundimu. He was my class teacher in primary 4&5. Though a young man, he was a bachelor then, he had the heart of a mother, never acting his age. He would make tea for everyone in class with his own resources whenever it rained. He never eats his food alone. He'd always share. We share our food with him too. Our class then was one big family. He was a role model, leading by example. He designated different duties to all of us, we didn't need prompting cause as loving and caring as he was, he was a disciplinarian, very strict. He made us mature even while we were very young. He taught us sense of duty and responsibility. People envied our class. It was a special community within a bigger community, the school. We fondly call him Uncle Tunde.
Wherever you are, I pray God bless you abundantly and reward your labour of love bountifully.
