Yaay! Don Juup is back. We should be grateful he's agreed to clean up our mess. . yet again. A safe pair of hands to help steady the ship. He's been out of the business for a while but I'm confident he will do a great job. Much hasn't changed at the club since he left so he should settle quickly. |

Ehen! Today is the day. Joshua Kimmich is set to break Franz Beckenbauer's long-standing record of the most number of completed consecutive competitive matches for Germany. OK, lemme break it down for those who didn't quite get that. Most consecutive 90 mins starting with the debut. Both are currently tied on 21. Coincidentally, Kimmich's run started back in June 2016, against the same opposition he will be facing tonight. . Northern Ireland. Not only has he effectively replaced Lahm at club and country level, he is now toppling Der Kaiser. All at 22. Future Bayern and Germany captain. I'm staking my life savings on it. You should too. |

Watching the N. Ireland-Germany game. Die Mannschaft 2 goals up at HT. Heading to Russia as it stands but we all knew that anyway. The Bayern boys representing as usual. Rudy finally scored one of those long-range stunners he's been trying all season long. Josh with a simple assist for that one. Unlucky not to have another to his name, Wagner hitting the post after another delightful cross. Muller with the assist for the second goal. Boateng and Hummels haven't had much to do. Should be an easy ride for them. |

It's all over in Belfast. Germany through to Russia 2018. And yes, a round of applause for the man of the moment, Joshua Walter Kimmich. A goal, an assist and breaking a 44-year old record all in one night. Could have added a clean sheet to it but the other guys just messed things up. I suppose drink to this new achievement sha but no P. |

Record breakers everywhere. Kimmich wasn't the only one busy re-writing the history books tonight. . Robert lewandowski is now Poland's record highest goalscorer after banging in a hattrick against Armenia. 50 goals for Top Bob. He's also now the player with the most goals in this WC qualifying campaign, with 15 goals, I think. Too lazy to do a Google search. Is there any doubt as to who the best striker on the planet is? |
Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by pkasso(m): 10:31pm On Oct 05, 2017 |
airmark:This team looks very ready to defend the title. The depth of the team is scary, even though there are not too many options in the striking department. But who cares, Klose was the only out-and-out striker at the last WC but they still got by. If the core of the team stays fit and are in top form by June next year, there might just be no stopping them. |

Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by pkasso(m): 11:23pm On Oct 05, 2017 |
FastShipping:Is this some kinda joke? While Kane is definitely in the form of his life, he's got nothing on Lewy. How does being the younger player equate to being better. More skillful? Both are not the most skillful of players to begin with but trust me, I've seen some incredible tekkers from Lewy. One of his goals against PSV last season comes to mind. Lewy is very much involved in his team's build-up play, to be fair you can also say the same for Kane. I've seen Kane struggle against teams who set up really tight at the back with little spaces in between. Lewy on the other hand will always find a way to breach such defenses. Just ask Juventus and Atletico. Strong in the air, can hold up play, good with both feet. Lewandowski ticks all the boxes of a great striker. He has done it against the biggest teams in the world on the biggest stages. Who could ever forget that incredible 4-goal haul against Real Madrid? Just tell me another player who has scored 4 goals against a Jose Mourinho-coached team. Not even Messi or Ronaldo. Or that crazy 5-goals in 9 minutes barrage against Wolfsburg that spawned a host of world record titles. Harry Kane should just stick to his 'local' exploits. Lewy no be im mate. |

obainojazz:Yes o, bro. My Lord and personal Saviour . Just kidding, don't take the signature too seriously. But yeah, kid's my favorite player. I love him to bits. He wasn't even a Bayern player when I started following him. Seeing him now, how far he has come, it makes me happy. |

A40: He didn't get the players he wanted last season.. Now that he has got the players he wanted we'll see how far he'll go with City. Why is it that when u guys throw shots at Guardiola, y'all refer to his years at Bayern(which isn't as bad as the way u put it) and in City.. Why do u refuse to talk abt his years at Barca? |

A team that went from back to back League titles and a CL Final to fighting relegation by winter break was on an upward slope? This Errorditor chap must be extremely Autistic. In my years on this forum I have never seen a mofo so confident and assured in his ignorance. Did Jupp have the luxury of Thiago, Kroos and Goetze in his midfield? Let's list the players in Madrid's squad for 2013/2014 and tell me who Madrid added or lost that drastically made them different (I know you would be stvpid enough to mention Ozil) I agree 2014/2015 Barca would have taken some stopping due to the injuries and I don't recall Bayern fans blaming Pep too much for that CL loss anyway. Even though Cholo showed us MSN can be beat not once but twice! Though that's another story Robben and Ribery were still top quality in Pep's first season anyway and Robben under Jupp didn't even become a regular starter in our treble year till Kroos went down. Bayern had a deeper and arguably more balanced squad under Pep. FACTS . 3 Titles in less than a season and a half under Carlo is failure. Failing to take a loaded Bayern team to a CL Final after his immediate predecessors made it there 3 times out of 4 attempts is even bigger failure 2 Likes |

TLona1:Who are the players he wanted and didn't get? You mean Kyle Walker, Danilo and Mendy were the players he wanted and didn't get? I'm not understanding! Did they point gun to his head to buy Bravo, GundoG, Stones and Jesus? If we even check am critically the players performing so far for City most of them are the players he met on ground. Haba as for Barca even Enrique who most of y'all Barca fans regard as a samankwe coach has won every trophy Pep won. He matched Pep's feat in one season! Don't get me wrong though, I don't think Pep is a bad manager but he's certainly not the best thing since Jameson and Sprite like our resident Errorist would have us believe |
