Also remove the patch patch they called net fair value on available for sale security

They did not use the gain in fair value on available for sale security in calculating the eps.
Fair result in my own assessment, better than q2.
My major worry is the escalating operation expenses, they need to do something about it.

Both are good stocks to hold.
.We are coming out of recession.
.sugar and wheat are still selling at low price at the global market.
.Dangote can still source dollars at a relative cheaper rate.

I am though more bullish about DS than GF as there are one or two things I am not comfortable with in DF q2 result.

Both stocks are wonderful with alot of inherent and hidden values. Dangote companies are very good and well managed but I have observed that they are highly inertia in price fluctuations and volatility hence making it highly recommendable for investors not traders as exemplified by Pa.Ewumi. grin.
Pls Pluto, where were your perceived observations you were not comfortable with in q2 of DF result as I have a substantial amount that I have designated and placed for long term.

Men who know when to aim and shoot, iam learning from you people grin..
Do you think that their divestment in noodle sector will erode some fractions of their current share value which will manifest in somewhat southward direction in share price to reflect true value.

On dangote sugar, I think the stock will most likely get to N20 if it comes out with a fantastic q3 and year end result.

A significant portion of the profits in q2 is from other income which means the company actually made less money from its operations in q2 than q1....
And finance cost, administrative and distribution expenses ,all jumped up by almost 100% from q1 to q2.. .

Do you think that spike in finance cost, administrative cost and others are things to worry about because I believe that in the view of their aggressive marketing, increase products production and distribution which result is their superlative performance in all financial variables. Naturally there will be increase in production expense as a consequence of aggressive production, i think it is a clear economic reality.
