" it's all onyibos work" grin ", black south Africans are lazy and jealous of our beautiful Country " , " the blacks there are all illiterates and jobless , it's only whites that live in nice places " cheesy. SA hurts a lot of people in this forum and the country will continue to be their worst nightmare lol.

While some are importing second hand trains that were made in 1920 from China . The people of mzantsi made their own world class speed train and we didn't make noise . It was built in SA by south africans themselves . Another one coming up soon in durban . I bet you the usual song will be sang " onyibo " forgetting that their onyibos had a chance to build all these during apartheid era and didn't lol . Look at the airports, stadiums and roads etc before 1994 and look at them today grin I know it hurts. By the way the best airport the and the best stadiums in Africa are brain child's of black men not " onyibo " or chinko. The Labour force majority black not imported Chinese criminals who come to some countries to be treated as masters grin

This thread was originally showing the superior progress of Kenya compared to Nigeria and devolved into a bit of a childish squabble both ways, but has been intermittently hijacked at points by insecure South Africans. An arse-hole above for example keeps spamming the thread with several dozen pictures of South Africa, when nobody has ever claimed Nigeria is more developed than South Africa, so it's kind of pointless. An American or British person might as well come here and start posting a thousand pictures.

And you can kid yourself all you want. Apartheid-era South Africa already had cities comparable to first world nations, regardless of how many airports and new stadia you've added since then. You're building on an existing foundation and legacy. Trying to deny the contributions of white monopoly capital to the country is a rather futile, delusional exercise. With over 80% of the population, less than 10% of JSE stocks are owned by black people when disregarding the pension funds, unity trusts and life policy indirect contributions (even with these, black ownership maxes out at 22%). There are only 4 black CEO's in the top 40 JSE listed firms with whites accounting for over 30. Over 72% of the directors in the top 100 JSE listed firms are white with blacks accounting for about 15%. This is despite the advocacy and attempts to aid upward mobility of blacks often with unmerited promotions and appointments to push a policy of workplace diversity. An estimated 1.7 million people (3% of the population) contributes over 80% of South Africa's income tax and 3.3 million people account for between 93% to 99%. No prizes for figuring out who accounts for most of that.

You can delude yourself all you want, but the only difference between Nigeria and South Africa is one had significant capital invested in it by emigrating Europeans and the other was little more than a base of resource exploitation, including profiting from human bondage. It has absolute fucckk all to do with how brilliantly you've run your country. I know enough about clowns like Zuma to know anything your society accomplishes is in spite of people like him rather than because of people like him.

Great post, Obi1kenobi. You stated facts without emotion or rancour. Very few reasonable Nigerians would ever argue that Nigeria is even roughly comparable to South Africa, because we all know and agree that it isnt! SA is FAR ahead of us. And we'll be the very first group of people to admit it. So someone coming here and screaming that SA is Nigerians 'worst nightmare' is a bit weird.

Yeah I know and it's sickening and disrespectful. Funny thing is that they would never allow other countries to export criminals to their country. I'm glad our government didn't fall for this. The jobs done by these people should be done by citizens of these countries, there is huge unemployment rate in Africa and yet some countries give jobs to foreign criminals. I give up.

Exactly. How they even get visas with criminal records undecided

"Daalu" is not a greeting. It's basically just saying "thank you" or "appreciated". smiley

Right you getting it dear,
But, 'maka' and 'Odinma 'is usually used when asking of another,

But if dealing directly with a person like just me and you, the 'maka', doesn't come in, and 'adim nma' is used in place of 'odinma' that is it goes this way,

**sighs**

I'm a dunce when it comes to languages.

**sighs again**

Anywhere here goes, so lets say there's this really nice Anambra guy I have a huge crush on, I use style and ask him:

'Kedu Chijioke?',

And he replies me:

'Adim nma Vivianne'.

Wooh! Igbo language is even harder than Urhobo.

LOL, the igbo language seems difficult to many people to decipher,
However, it got different dialects too,
And some other different lexicons are bonded with similar meaning, Some words are equally multitasking and interchangeable in their functionality,

Like for instance,

Kedu, same as ke kwanu, same as ke ki mee/mere,

Some say idikpole, Some say imela kpole, Some say inokwa ya, Some say Ndi ka ka idi,etc

Lol, make your pick.

What is language do you speak?

Jesus!

Kedu = me kwanu = me ki mee

Wow!

So if an Abia Igbo speaks his real Igbo dialect, its very possible for an Anambra Igbo not to understand him.

That's incredible!
