First open miui theme editor, then click start, next finish. When you are done saving, go to internal storage * Miui * theme. Then edit try editing the mtz file in this folder

Download the tff file from Google search, convert it into mtz file using ifont, then finally convert it into a theme file using miui theme editor. Is that what you did?
