Give no further thought to option 1. The second option is sure better and much more appropriate. But then, no family travel experience and hubby having his sister in the US may not be favorable to this application. Must you all make this trip together at this time? Who and what becomes your strong tie to naija if you all do this at this time? Your husband has more hurdle to cross from the profile you supplied of him, wouldn't even be a bad idea if he's out of this for now or the kids could be dropped from the application instead. Please My interview is coming a week from today, i have two question please.

1. Am supposed to go for the interview with the payment receipt, all i got was the debit Alert from my bank showing my passport number, DoB and Name, is that all i need? or am supposed to get another official receipt?

2. I intend visiting California but cos of the wildfire, am changing the plans for my vacation to another state. cos i cannot just go and kill myself there, Please what can i do about it?

1. Yes, you MUST go with your GTB payment receipt as its one of the REQUIRED documents.
2. You can still fill a new DS-160 application with the new changes in location. Then go to the appointment scheduling platform and edit the DS-160 number there and reprint your appointment confirmation.

Apply as was done others, pay the visa fee, fill DS160 form for baby, schedule interview, take baby for interview, either parents or both could do this, mother most preferably). Yes you can add baby to family application, but since nobody is needing a visa now of you guys, this becomes tricky. Create a profile for the child separately for now (not too sure how it works with minors, but I think someone talked of this in part 2, others may bring in their input here sha), you can add to the family application subsequent times.

However take note of this, if you were asked about the pregnancy and you said the whole truth during interview, you then are good to go, but if not, there will be consequences still whether you birthed in Nigeria or not.

Meanwhile, do post a transcript of your May interview if you haven't done so dear silent reader. God bless!

Hi, I'm new here A friend needs ur help ND sincere advice,please no insults and if u find d post unpleasant in anyway pls kindly move past it, she's Goin tru a divorce with a baby age 2yrs +, her father is retired engineer wishes to trip her to d USA for 2 weeks (not dat his acc is Buoyant just his pension of 250k per month, but he's trying to help d lady achieve her dreams of going to d USA, mind you she's not going with her daughter, she owns a makeup Studio (Enterprises) she doesn't earn much from it, nd d divorce is still in court so she has to be around since she filed for d divorce, she intend coming back because she can't stay even a month without her daughter, her father owns up to 4 houses as properties now her questions are, what are her chances cos she has paid for her visa fees(advice from someone she met online) meaning there is no going back pls can u help on which way forward can she go that will prosper her.
