[quote author=EMMAACHILE post=61659988] I boiled the fresh leaves after blending. I served and break in between days. When I raised 12 week old broilers to 22 weeks, they were OK though on free range on 3 days continuous per week. Moringa if applied with the right dosage doesn't lead to weight shed. What it does is, it makes the chicks consume less feed and a have a higher fcr. With this little chicks, applying in small dosage will be key as the recommended dose from scholars range from 40ml to 100ml max per litre. I went with the lowest dosage though still supplemented with multivitamin. I have not given any drugs since inception and hope to leave it that way. I weighed one on day 15 and it was about 0.5kg. I still think they are on track. I am about finishing the third bag today and I went with the new feed in town by Olam (Chikun feed)[/quote Yes.high dosage causes weight shed. All the best. You are doing good 1 Like |

EMMAACHILE: HI, what will be the performance of broiler chicken that is fed broiler starter up to 8weeks of age. Pls, any body opinion will be welcome |
Re: ... by Nobody: 9:23am On Oct 23, 2017 |
jeckin205:.Watery poo because of high crude protein. .Poor calcium nutrient may lead to poor bone formulation .More feed consumption due to low metabolism energy. Why use starter all through? Starter is best for the first four weeks of life. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Actually it's my first time and they are 8 weeks today, 50 in number and fatality of 5 remaining 45. The pictures were taken 4 days ago. Booked through a friend who is guiding me. Agrited the male line, he told me it will be in a proportion of at least 80/20 Male/Female but I am seeing 60/40. Feed used: Pre Stater from day 1-7 Benza starter from day 8-35 Benza finisher from 35 till date 1 Like
