Thanks for the suggestion but it seemed she made emphasis on the age and marital status "married mother".

The VO did you a favor by pointing you in the right direction. What does law clerk have to do with business?

From your Statement, you already know what to do...do the PGD where you are and apply for masters. It might be a good idea to address in your SOP why you're going back to school at your age.

Thanks, mcobex. Ok. I think am getting it. Hope to do better on my next application

It is clear, you have to work on your purpose of visit (seems your proposed program isn't in line with your previous program or current job ). Sorry about the delay

From the early gurus

"STEPS TO CANADA ONLINE VISA APPLICATION

Hey there, Tired of waiting, and feeling Frustrated with the Canada visa Paper route processing time?
The solution you need is right here. Online route is all you need to get going

Follow these easy steps:

1. Visit www.cic.gc.ca to register……Click on Apply online, you’ll get a prompt asking if you have applied before……Click NO……you get the next prompt asking “What are you applying for?”......Select STUDY PERMIT………you get another prompt asking “Have you used our online questionnaire to find out if you’re eligible to apply?”……your answer here should be NO since you’re applying for the first time, but if you’ve filled the questionnaire before then you can click YES.

2. After Clicking a NO to the Eligibilty Questionnaire question in step 1 then it takes you to an info Page……Just Click START……..Now that you’re on the getting started page…..Take your time to read the instructions……And then Click NEXT……Please fill in the Questionnaire correctly as these will be used to generate a Checklist code for you to upload your documents on your myCIC account.

3. After completely filling the Eligibility Questionnaire you will hit the “Review your answer page”……Please scan through to confirm your answers to the Questionnaire…….Then Click CONTINUE…………It will take you to a page were your CHECK LIST CODE is boldly written……the one I generated for mysef now is OX2980052333(plsssss this na my own code oooo,go generate your own biko).….Please copy your CODE or save that page or print that page……Just don’t misplace your own checklist code biko…..if you do, then you will have to fill another questionnaire all over again to generate another checklist code….. Please note that the checklist code you generated has expiry date(probably 2 months) so if you plan on generating the code make sure you use it before it expires else you would have to generate another.

4. Now that you have created your check list code the real application begins……you will have to re-iterate from Step 1 by visiting www.cic.gc.ca….Click on Apply online, you get a prompt asking if you have applied before……Click NO……you get the next prompt asking “What are you applying for?”......Select STUDY PERMIT………you get another prompt asking “Have you used our online questionnaire to find out if you’re eligible to apply?” ……at the point click YES........It then ask you “Do you have a code that looks like this: QK4350881372?”……..Click YES…….Then it takes you to “Create myCIC account page”……Click START.........Now you’re at the page……Click GCKey Login…….since you do not have a Username and password yet then click REGISTER FOR A NEW GC-KEY........After you must have registered…..It takes you to terms and conditions page….Just click I ACCEPT……….

5. After clicking accept….it ask you if you already have a client ID which is also known as UCI number…..if you had previously applied to CDHC either through paper route or other route and you were given a UCI no please click YES…..but if you are just freshly applying to the Embassy then click NO…..Then it takes you to the Mycic Enrolment were you will fill your names, DOB, Country of birth, passport number……Then click CONTINUE…..Next is to create your security question …… click CONTINUE…….Then it ask for your email…..enter your email and click CONTINUE……. you get to your main cic page were you get to click APPLY ONLINE……….It ask you for the checklist code(remember the code we created at the beginning)…..

6. Enter your checklist code……..Now it takes you to the checklist questionnaire review page……Please note that you can still modify your questionnaire on the fly if you are not satisfied with some answers you provided…..all you need to do is click on MODIFY…….When you are done reviewing the page, click CONTINUE……Then it takes you to the part where you get to upload all you scanned documents……View the picture below to see what it looks like……

7. Please always click the question(?) attached to each upload section….example:- once you click the (?) attached to “Proof of Means of Financial Support” you will get these long lists
• your bank statements for the past four months
• a bank draft in convertible currency
• pay stubs
• an employment letter
• proof of assets or business
• proof of payment of tuition and accommodation fees
• tax reports, declarations or statements
• proof of a student/education loan from a financial institution
• a letter from the person or institution providing you with money
• proof of funding paid from within Canada, if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program
• proof of a Canadian bank account in your name if money has been transferred to Canada

All you need to do is look for the documents you are able to provide on this list and then Copy and Paste them into a Microsoft word after scanning…..Save the document as PDF format in other to get a lower size pdf document…..if at the end you shrinked to pdf and you still have a larger size pdf, then please download a pdf compressor www.pdfcompressor.org

This is just for a section of Upload…..there are other Upload section(check the pics) were you need to also shrink documents to lower size….Please do this right and make your documents as clear as possible after shrinking.

When you are done uploading all docx......It takes you to the Review page.....Click CONTINUE.......Now you're at the payment page....Please make use of Zenith or First bank master card.....It has been tested and trusted to work on CIC platform.

Now that your application has been completed....always watch out for any message in your cic account....usually they notify you via your email of any pending message in your CIC account so always check your email regularly

Please note that these steps also apply to Visiting Visa application.....Just follow the Instructions for Visiting Lobatan!!!

take your time to study this well….Its practical so do not be scared to read all…..once you get going with it on your PC/Laptop you would see how easy it is to apply Online……Package your application well and then leave the rest to baba God…..GOD AINT SLEEPING

Cheers

Tired of the long paper route processing time and the remedy is online submission? Funny because quite to the contrary, there is some evidence to support that paper route submission is actually faster and more dependable medium to file than online submission.

You need to file a motion to reopen based on error of fact. Ask them to reopen your case because it appears they are having identity crises, possibly mistaking you for someone else with name as yours who was denied visa. They are not even sure what they are talking about from their statement. Point all their mistakes out and respectfully appeal your case be reopened and visa granted so you can resume your studies. You have enough money, even paid full tuition, that is good. Now you need to concentrate in your SOP on showing a correlation between what you studied before or the field you are working now, with the one you want to study in Canada. Or if no correlation or progression, explain convincingly why you chose your new field. Best of luck!

I currently have Bsc and Msc in Urban and Regional Planning. I tried securing a Faculty for my PhD application but it has been difficult getting one. Immediately I switched my intention for the Msc program in related discipline like Geography and Planning, Environmental Design, City Planning I supervisors. I had my Bsc in 2008 and Msc in 2013.

I am planning to use my Msc in the application to some schools and only Bsc other schools because I have a very good grade.
My question to expertise: In Visa application, if I eventually got admission with my Bsc application transcript, I hope VO would not verify other schools I applied to that I submitted my Msc transcript.

I would have used only my Bsc but I have already spoken to some Faulty that I have both and therefore I need to present both and I also have offers that I can proof myself I would be transferred to the PhD program after 1 year of course work in my Msc study.

The VO won't verify anything from school in Canada. Only on a rare situation I heard VO calling Canadian school to ask about an applicant. They will do so only in a situation of serious doubt. But if you submit your Msc to a VO and they see you are going for a second masters, you can come off to them as not a genuine student. My advice is not to hide anything to school or VO. Explain why you have undertaken to do a second masters and that you will be able to transfer to a PHd after one year. It's that simple. Honesty is the best policy!

In a situation I have full funding offer by the school, do I have to present statement of account and proof of asset for my VISA application. With your experience, can VO deny a student given full funding by the school and have submitted necessary documents VISA.

Good morning sir. few applicants have been delayed even with full funding on this part 13. To my understanding based of informations on this thread, I think you still need to show some commitments on your part sir, I learnt here that the VOs now think scholarship could be terminated on getting to school or something, like 50/50 situation. Kindly read this part 13, you will get this particular info in detail. Thank u sir

It is advisable you submit your own bank statement and proof of asset even though you have been given full scholarship. If past experience are any clear indicators, we have seen a number of applicants with full scholarship denied visa. It seems like CIC has now started requiring applicants to prove that if their if their scholarships is rescinded perhaps for whatsoever reason of failure to meet the conditions, they have the funding to pay for themselves. The tyranny of CIC.

If you are paper route, you can print two of the same employment page and fill it and enclose with your submitted application. If you are online route, you scan it and upload with other documents been uploaded.

Bro pls, i need your help o
I'm also applying for New Brunswick but, mine is Community College
I've paid my app fee and i have been asked to mailed my results and transcript since 5days ago but, i just cleared my ND Certificate yesterday at Laspotech for collection today and i have also requested for my Transcript to be sent to the address the school mailed me which, i have no idea when it will get to the school.
So my question is, can i go ahead to upload my Secondary School result and my ND Certificate first? Before my transcript will be sent. Or i should wait till the transcript has been sent?
And secondly, how can i request for an IELTS waiver form? Coz, on the school requirements, it was stated that, "You may be asked for IETLS" which i assumed, its not compulsory but, i already applied for the IELTS and my Test date is Dec 09.
So is it advisable, i request for the waiver? just should in case i didn't make the required test Band
Pls, ur advice is needed

And one more thing, in my application, Education level: i filled my Senior Secondary School (3yrs) only which is 2004-2007 and my waec result is bad but, i took GCE in 2009 which is good
So my question is, do i have to upload the both results of 2007(bad) and 2009(good) coz, you know i said in finished 2007. So i don't know if submitting the 2009 GCE(Original) result might complicate the admission?
Pls help me o anybody sad

Great minds in the house, recall in part 275 in which I stated my plight seeking for suggestion/advice. I have been offered admission for professional financial service ( Fanshawe college, PGC)for fall 2018 on the condition that a deposit of CAD 2200. Am some how displaced as to,if I should proceed with payment as against suggestion of picking a masters program as kindly suggested by a NL contributor with a view that proposed course is in line with first degree and work experience. But my concern is, do VO delay app for student on PDC/PGD rather than Masters program.? Am currently engaging the previous school that I chose my first course to confirm my new app in progression with degree and work experience. Please your views is highly needed to proceed .

I advice u follow the instructions given by the sch On How To Apply.
Study hard to pass ur IELTS since u've registered for it, but however, u can ask ur program officer on how to go about the waiver!.
Finally, waec cert. carries only yr of completion, use the one u passed that demonstrates ur situation. Have responded to ur pm!

Chai this VO lambasted and impaled you upon a stake! Please guys English is not our first language I know. But it is Nigeria's official language and we need to try. This thing is very important and every grammatical error and mumbled sentence, gets the VOs pissed off. Do yourself a favor and have someone review your SOP before submitting. That said, seriously I don't know where to start. This was just an assault. I will advice you work personally with someone in revamping your entire application and strategy going forward. Good SOA, powerful SOE, substantial ties like family and property and job to home country. Don't manufacture them. Show if you didn't before. Have plan B for another country.
