Chai this VO lambasted and impaled you upon a stake! Please guys English is not our first language I know. But it is Nigeria's official language and we need to try. This thing is very important and every grammatical error and mumbled sentence, gets the VOs pissed off. Do yourself a favor and have someone review your SOP before submitting. That said, seriously I don't know where to start. This was just an assault. I will advice you work personally with someone in revamping your entire application and strategy going forward. Good SOA, powerful SOE, substantial ties like family and property and job to home country. Don't manufacture them. Show if you didn't before. Have plan B for another country.

As in!
The VO took to every nook and cranny!

Chai but refire abeg...note all the points and reapply
This feedback note is very detailed

If you are paper route, you can print two of the same employment page and fill it and enclose with your submitted application. If you are online route, you scan it and upload with other documents been uploaded.
ok... thank you

Thanks for the suggestion but it seemed she made emphasis on the age and marital status "married mother".

That's why I said you need to defend WHY you are going back to school at your age. And reason to leave your children behind if they are minors

@mcobex thanks bro for taking out time to assist a brother.his is my profile.
Studied environmental technology in futo (2.1)
Intend to study environmental management and accessment at niagara college.sponsor is fathers immidiate younger brother.
Has cash balance of 15mil.property worth 100mil and cash inflow of abt 45mil.i had already deferred my admissn to january befor the refusal came.
Boss abeg ur advice will be highly appreciated.

Bro your intended program is related to your previous program so I feel a better sop will do the magic. Hope you are going for MSc and not PGD? cos your undergraduate grade is good enough to get MSc .Also ensure your sponsor shows commitment by paying g your tuition fee and living expenses into your person account or directly to the school (tuition fee)

Please house what does it mean when your supervisor says he is unable to secure funding for one.. but will fast track admission letter if one can self fund ..
it is clear bro, you supervisor can't get you scholarship now but if you can pay your tuition fee yourself then you are guaranteed admission. If you are capable of funding yourself then let him know so he can get your offer letter across to you asap. Best of luck

You need to file a motion to reopen based on error of fact. Ask them to reopen your case because it appears they are having identity crises, possibly mistaking you for someone else with name as yours who was denied visa. They are not even sure what they are talking about from their statement. Point all their mistakes out and respectfully appeal your case be reopened and visa granted so you can resume your studies. You have enough money, even paid full tuition, that is good. Now you need to concentrate in your SOP on showing a correlation between what you studied before or the field you are working now, with the one you want to study in Canada. Or if no correlation or progression, explain convincingly why you chose your new field. Best of luck!
That's a good point bro, try it let's see. Try to make them look incompetent (by saying you have been denied visa before when you have never applied in the past). I will be looking out for the result

Ok, thank you for the reply. please for the imm form where one has to fill tuition, room and board fee am I to write the fee for the two years as my course is a two year course, or I write the fee for one year as stated on the acceptance letter.
mcobex:
There's nothing wrong in them stating it, let the sponsor bringing the most money act as the main sponsor while the other as the co-sponsor(let them state it on their respective letter of support)

PLEASE WHAT SHOULD I DO IN THIS CASE. I DID NOT ACTUALLY USE ANY REPRESENTATIVE BUT A FRIEND HELPED ME OUT

Dear Maduka

I have reviewed your application and documents you submitted in its support. Subsection 11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act provides that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or any other document required by the Regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act.

I have concerns that you have not fulfilled the requirement put upon you by section 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, which states:

16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.

Pursuant to paragraph 10(2)(c.1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations:

10(2) The application shall, unless otherwise provided by these Regulations

(c.1) if the applicant is represented in connection with the application, include the name, postal address and telephone number, and fax number and electronic mail address, if any, of any person or entity — or a person acting on its behalf — representing the applicant

Based on your submissions, I have concerns that you have omitted to declare that you used a compensated representative to facilitate the submission of your application. Your application contains evidence that it was facilitated by the same person or entity as another application received by this office. I therefore have concerns that you misrepresented this information either through omission or through failing to indicate that the representative was compensated.

Please note that if it is found that you have engaged in misrepresentation in submitting your application, you may be found to be inadmissible under section 40(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. A finding of such inadmissibility would render you inadmissible to Canada for a period of five years according to section 40(2)(a):

40(1) A permanent resident or a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation (a) for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act

40(2) The following provisions govern subsection (1): (a) the permanent resident or the foreign national continues to be inadmissible for misrepresentation for a period of five years following, in the case of a determination outside Canada, a final determination of inadmissibility under subsection (1) or, in the case of determination in Canada, the date the removal order is enforced.

I would like to give you an opportunity to respond to this information. I will afford you fifteen (15) days from the date of this letter to make any representations in this regard. Please use the address noted on this letter for all correspondence, and clearly indicate your file number. If you do not respond to this request within the time outlined above, your application will be assessed based on the information available, which will likely result in a refusal.

You must respond to this concern via e-mail. Paper submissions will not be accepted. If you have supporting documents that you would like to provide in your response, please scan these and attach them to your e-mail response.

Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada.

Regards,

Immigration Section

Hello everybody, i am new here I am 24 years olde. I already secured an advanced diploma program in software engineering at Centennial college canada, I am to pay 2300 Canadian dollar as deposit. It is a 3 year program with co-op/work placement. I would like to know how I can make the payment from here in Nigeria. Also, i have an undergraduate degree in physics from unilorin 2013. I have been in and out of some jobs but I have been unemployed since I resigned in February. After paying the deposit, do i begin 2 apply for TRV or study permit or does the two mean the same. Also btwn online route and paper route, which is more advisable. My program starts January 2018 and I know time is not on my side but I strongly believe I ll get it done. In my SOP, i plan to let d VO know that I wud have gone for MSc but I need these background in software before going for my MSc and hopefully in the United States before settling for a well paid IT job in my country. Thanks alot. sad tongue

I really do not think its about the age. You have to show the V.O what you have been doing since tou finished secondary school, give them a reason why you didn't attend a Univeristy all these while and probably show how everything you have been doing ties to the course you want to go and study now. Also you need to show them how its going to help you move forward as an individual in your career when you come back to Nigeria.

Why not an MSc in Supply chain instead? or a PHD in management? These are the questions I have been asked as well because the challenge in going to school in Canada for the VO is to see progression from your prior study or work. So while I am aware that the (silent) counsel from past students in canny is to hide your masters degree when going for a PGD, in light of the recent scrutiny on Nigeria student applications, I would advise you take your time, do a thorough search and get admission in a course that meets the VOs requirements. Just my 2 cents.
