It makes sense for him to publish the names of those who have been receiving salaries since he got on-board. You cannot continue to peddle falsehood, claiming payments are not being made, yet you complain when he provides evidence. If you think your name was included and you hadn't been paid, lodge a suit against the government for defamation and false allegation. In other related news, I stumbled on this from nairaland earlier today: https://www.today.ng/news/nigeria/26636/daughter-die-money-kogi-civil-servant How many of you bother to apologise after broadcasting outright falsehood? 1 Like 1 Share |

When our old corrupt and misbehaving lootocratic politicians say the youth are not ready to rule, we wonder what they mean. But the old cargoes know what they mean. They have shown such bad examples over decades that the youth were born into, fed with and bred with incompetence, corruption, wastage, pride and vanity. They know the youth learnt from the worst (the old cargoes themselves). Yahaya Bello is a textbook case. |

This country rly is truly a zoo country. When a governor paid the civil servant salaries they are entitled to, they will be announcing it as if the governor too is not receiving salary himself. Someone work from Monday to Friday for 30 days in a month and you are expecting him not to be paid. |

300 pages @ the current advert rates is 165m naira. I am sure this amount will be inflated as this is another avenue for them to siphon money. This amount if channelled towards salary payments can change lives. God help us. |

What rubbish. Kogi civil servants, you people should start uploading your last pay alert anonymously all over social media. We want to hear from the people and not the government. Who has the bloody time to waste going through 300 pages. Does anyone have this governor's number? I just want to whisper a few words to him. |

What rubbish. Why can't they just create link on the Internet and give us the link here to check it up ourselves. * Must they published it in the newspaper? * Must they waste the taxpayer's money on this silly attitude again? * Must they continue to look for means of eating money from contracts like this? This country indeed have a long way to go. |

freeze001:I tire my sister o. But they would still open up a website with 500million naira like its some satellite launch. our leaders are just plain foolish and it we continue this way until there is bloody revolution. Let people troop in and ransack the government house, loot the governor's properties that actually belongs to everybody, make him panicky and running helter skelter like it is in middle east. Police and soldiers can't kill everybody. if there is none of that,it will continue this way |
