God told u? Even ur own denomination is fake. Serve Jesus and forget denomination. Modern day christianity is a scam. It doesn't align with the gospel of Jesus.
Yes when I said God I mean Holy Spirit, He speaks and u can hear him clearly depending on ur relationship with God. who scam u, pray very well and God will direct ur path to know the right way to toe in life and eventually make it to ur creator.

I thought you said the cards are never passed and have to be requested, now you're asking whether the congregation was forced to sign it? Next thing you'll say its optional meanwhile people have been disfellowshipped for taking blood.

Let me ask you sef, why are blood fractions allowed now? Its still blood isn't it? It's like saying I can't drink hot chocolate but I can drink milk, milo, sugar and hot water separately? How does that even make the slightest sense? People died because blood fractions weren't allowed years back and now they are allowed? So will Jehovah ask for their blood from the Governing body since they more or less caused their death?
No Jehovah will not. See Proverbs 4:18. The enlightenment grows. In Acts 10:14-16, Paul's conception as to those who were entitled to th gospel was changed by that vision and prepared him for a greater ministry.

And I forgot to add the No blood transfusion part. I know how many people have died that I know because of that rubbish. The last case was that of a pregnant woman. The nurses kept begging and begging. Madam please give your consent let's put blood in your body else you and your baby will die. She kept saying no no no its against my doctrine. Before their very eyes, the woman was passing away gradually and the nurses kept begging and crying. Till she died. The whole hospital was in tears.
This is a religious issue rather than a medical one. Both the Old and New Testaments clearly command us to abstain from blood. (Genesis 9:4; Leviticus 17:10; Deuteronomy 12:23; Acts 15:28, 29 ) Also, God views blood as representing life. (Leviticus 17:14 ) So we avoid taking blood not only in obedience to God but also out of respect for him as the Giver of life.

The rest of the story…

What Jw's believe, but won't initially tell people when they knock on doors and ask if they think the world would be better off without war, suffering, sickness and child abuse:

If you become a JW and then leave them because of their false teachings, you will be literally shunned. You family that remain in the organization will not be permitted to even talk to you!

The Watchtower Society is the only source of truth on earth today and the rest of the mankind will be destroyed if they do not belong or convert to jw.

The cross is a pagan symbol of sex worship, and that all buildings or persons displaying the cross are likewise pagan. Jehovah's Witnesses deny that Jesus died on a cross but a stake. However, recent "new light" in the Watchtower now admits they are not certain about the cross, but will continue to deny it anyway. Further, the watchtower originally claimed it was a cross.

No one goes to heaven but 144,000. While the Bible shows that the great crowd is in heaven, the Watchtower ignores this and teach their own interpretation.

They teach Christ is the mediator for only the 144,000, not the rest of mankind as taught in the Bible.

Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob etc. will be resurrected to earth paradise even when the Bible in Hebrew 11:13-16 shows that their reward will be heavenly. They simply ignore this.

Their light gets "brighter and brighter", allowing for many changes and "about faces" on their doctrines. Yesterday's error is today's "truth" and today's truth becomes tomorrow’s errors. Often the "light" bounces back and forth from old to new views and back again! Basically, in the past 30 years, more than 80% of their doctrine has been discarded.

Blood transfusions are rejected and if a Witness receives one willingly, it results in his eternal death. However, the society allows Hemopheliacs to consume blood for medical purposes to save their life.

That all other religion apart from Jehovah’s Witnesses are false religion and most of the times referred to as Babylon the great.

They believe the Watchtower contains Gods truth, directed by Holy Spirit. Without it one cannot understand the Bible.

They claim they were approved and chosen by Christ Jesus in 1919 as the only religion doing God's will. However their teachings at the time and mistakes since then prove this could not be true and had since been discarded.

They let their loved ones die imposing their doctrinal ban on blood transfusions based on the law covenant. However people broke the law covenant when lives were at stake. Such as saving a life of a sheep or human on the sabbath. King David broke the law to save his men. Even Jesus christ showed that when life is threatened, mercy was more important than sacrifice.

They are known as being false prophets for their many false predictions going back over 150 years. They predicted the coming of christ (1875), resurrection (1878), end of gentile times (1881), Armageddon (1914), resurrection if Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (1915), destruction of all other churches apart from them (1918), disappearance of government and republic (1920), establishment of God's kingdom(1925), resurrection of Abraham, Isaac, jacob (1925), heavenly calling ends (1935), end of the world (1975) and the generation alive in 1914 would not die off before the end. Of course, all this prophecies had since been discarded after their failure and never talked about.

Looking at the history of their false prophecies and teaches, Jehovah's Witnesses becomes a hypocrite whenever they call others false prophet and false teachers.

They are series of court cases involving the Watchtower, the parent organization of Jw, and they are paying millions of dollars in compensation for their failures in child abuse cases (Google is your friend). And yet, none of these are featured in the legal section of their official website. (see how much they have paid thus far: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehovah%27s_Witnesses%27_handling_of_child_sex_abuse)

Watchtower is selling of kingdom halls in many part of the world. (the building of many ones spoken of as evidence of God's blessing and backing of their works). Yet, many Jw's are not aware of it.

They have their own Bible. A Bible carefully designed to agree with their doctrine.

The Watchtower leadership has repeatedly refused to divulge the names and/or academic qualifications of the people within their organization who produced the New World Translation. The reason cited was that the translator where not seeking glory for themselves. But it's really a lame excuse.

The jw Bible is the first real attempt to remove all references to Jesus being worship or being prayed to. It's the first real attempt to obscure the divinity of Jesus Christ. (more about the jw Bible can be found here: http://www.ukapologetics.net/newworld.html)

@op,nice try. You surpress information?
Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Feel That They Are the Only People Who Will Be Saved?

No. Many millions who lived in centuries past and who weren’t Jehovah’s Witnesses will have an opportunity for salvation. The Bible explains that in God’s promised new world, “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15 ) Additionally, many now living may yet begin to serve God, and they too will gain salvation. In any case, it’s not our job to judge who will or won’t be saved. That assignment rests squarely in Jesus’ hands.— John 5:22, 27
https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/who-saved/

Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Believe in Jesus?

Yes. We believe in Jesus, who said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 ) We have faith that Jesus came to earth from heaven and gave his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice. (Matthew 20:28 ) His death and resurrection make it possible for those exercising faith in him to gain everlasting life. (John 3:16 ) We also believe that Jesus is now ruling as King of God’s heavenly Kingdom, which will soon bring peace to the entire earth. (Revelation 11:15 ) However, we take Jesus at his word when he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” (John 14:28 ) So we do not worship Jesus, as we do not believe that he is Almighty God.

I knew that was the scripture you would quote because that somehow, absolves them of the guilt, of pretty much murdering people. "Oh well, the light got brighter". Since the light can still get brighter at any time they deem fit, don't you think it's logical to let certain things that are not written in black and white to be left to people's consciences?

In Leviticus 17:15, if you ate a dead animal that had not been bled, you only had to bathe till evening and be clean. Also in Matthew 12:3-7 and Matthew 12:11, preserving life took precedence over strict law keeping. Blood is a symbol of life, why should the symbol be more important than the life itself?
Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by Nobody: 10:13pm On Oct 29, 2017
DavidEsq:

Yes, but look at Acts 15:20. It clearly says stay away from blood. Verse 29 also says same. idolatry and use of blood were clearly separate. The use of comma shows itemization of different acts we shld avoid.

I am sorry to say. Comma doesn't speak anything from God, HIS word does!!!! Comma was created by man. God didn't use comma when he spoke to Moses! He spoke what needed to be done and not done as children of God. I don't really get involve in such arguments tho but it's better to share your thoughts as laid down by the help of His Spirit just as the Eunuch was helped.

I rest my case.

There is nothing religious there. Except of course what you have been programmed to believe. God gifted us with science. Science saves life. Stop using the Bible in the wrong context! In loving memory of all those who should be alive today but opted to kill themselves by refusing a medical procedure that would have saved their life

This is ridiculous.......liquid by infusion doesn't go through the digestive systems, it goes straight into the blood stream. That's the difference. Guess ur founder doesn't know that. By the way didn't Jesus shed his blood for u....didn't he ask that u drink his blood and eat his flesh??

That's very correct, blood taken orally is digested like food and the nutrients are absorbed but blood taken intravenously behaves just like blood. It's like getting an organ transplant

Itz funny what u people are saying about dis blood ish... God's instruction was dat we should abstain from anything dat has been touched with blood especially when dead... Except being killed by us 4 food.... Dats so far from transfusing blood na as d person is still alive and not dead... Itz basically as food cos God sees whatever thing touched by blood as unclean
Datz y a lady cnt lead the church cos she has periods of uncleanliness which is her menstruation...
My church allows women to preach but not as d head of d church as it is biblical...

In essence abstain from blood there means abstain from everything touched by blood mostly as food...
Mind u is there no blood in our system, why dnt we abstain from ourselves then since u say God hates blood..

I love science and JW unlike other denominations doesn't shy away from science. I read a publication about evolution and I'm forever great ful to JW for that book. Even my childhood, my book of Bible stories was my favourite.

In Deuteronomy 4:2, it says you should not add or subtract from the bible so why does the New World Translation (Jehovah's witnesses bible) have verses removed? Their bible is online so you can check it out

Matthew 17:21
Matthew 18:11
John 7:53 - John 8:11 (a whole 12 verses missing)
Romans 16:24

There are like 26 more different verses they've removed from their bible just because it doesn't suit their teachings.

Have Jehovah’s Witnesses Changed the Bible to Fit Their Beliefs?

No, we haven’t. On the contrary, when we have discovered that our beliefs were not completely in line with the Bible, we have changed our beliefs.
Long before we started producing the
New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures in 1950, we examined the Bible. We used whatever translation was available and formed our beliefs accordingly. Consider a few examples of long-standing beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and decide for yourself whether they match what the Bible really teaches.

1. What we believe: God is not a Trinity. The July 1882 issue of Zion’s Watch Tower
said: “Our readers are aware that while we believe in Jehovah and Jesus, and the holy Spirit, we reject as totally unscriptural, the teaching that these are three Gods in one person or, as some put it, one God in three persons .”
What the Bible says:
“Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.” (Deuteronomy 6:4 , The Holy Bible, by Robert Young) “There is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we unto him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” (1 Corinthians 8:6 , American Bible Union Version) Jesus himself stated: “The Father is greater than I.”— John 14:28 , Douay-Rheims Version.

2. What we believe: There is no eternal torment in a fiery hell. Quoting from Romans 6:23 in the King James Version, Zion’s Watch Tower entitled its issue of June 1882 “The Wages of Sin Is Death,” stating: “How clear and simple is this statement. How strange it is that so many who profess to receive the Bible as the Word of God persist in contradicting this positive statement, and affirm that they believe, and that the Bible teaches, that the wages of sin is
everlasting life in torment.”
What the Bible says: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4, 20 ,
King James Version ) The final punishment for those who oppose God is, not eternal torment, but “everlasting destruction.”—
2 Thessalonians 1:9 ,
King James Version.

3. What we believe: God’s Kingdom is a real government, not just a condition of the heart.
Regarding God’s Kingdom, the December 1881 issue of Zion’s Watch Tower said: “The setting up of this kingdom will, of course, involve the overthrow of all the kingdoms of earth.”
What the Bible says: “In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”— Daniel 2:44 , King James Version.

Do Jehovah’s Witnesses depend on the
New World Translation to support their beliefs?
No, for we continue to use many translations of the Bible in our witnessing work. In fact, while we provide a copy of the New World Translation at no charge as part of our free Bible study program, we are also happy to study with those who prefer to use other translations.

Jesus can never in anyway be equal to God whether in nature or physically or in authority. They are two different entity. The Bible represent Jesus as mighty and God as Almiggty also see Philippians 2:5-8. Jesus is not God n can never be equal to God. Even God have to exault him. U can only tell me they have a common goal n that’s to the sanctification and glorification of he’s fathers name God. The word trinity in itself can’t be found in the Bible which means the triad God, it’s a doctrines that originates with pagan as far back as wen King Namaan..... Even Jesus and the apostles didn’t preach trinity. Christians are to follow Jesus steps closely.

Please Note
In the late 19th century, scholars B. F. Westcott and F.J.A. Hort compared existing Bible manuscripts and fragments as they prepared the Greek master text that they felt most closely reflected the original writings. In the mid-20th century, the New World Bible Translation Committee used that master text as the basis for its translation. Other early papyri, thought to date back to the second and third centuries C.E., were also used. Since then, more papyri have become available. In addition, master texts such as those by Nestle and Aland and by the United Bible Societies reflect recent scholarly studies. Some of the findings of this research were incorporated into this present revision.

Based on those master texts, it is evident that some verses of the Christian Greek Scriptures found in older translations, such as the King James Version, were actually additions made by later copyists and were never part of the inspired Scriptures. However, because the verse division generally accepted in Bible translations was already established in the 16th century, the omission of these verses now creates gaps in the verse numbering in most Bibles. The verses are Matthew 17:21; 18:11; 23:14; Mark 7:16; 9:44, 46; 11:26; 15:28; Luke 17:36; 23:17; John 5:4; Acts 8:37; 15:34; 24:7; 28:29; and Romans 16:24. In this revised edition, those omitted verses are indicated by a footnote at the location of the omission.

Regarding the long conclusion for Mark 16 (verses 9-20), the short conclusion for Mark 16, and the wording found at John 7:53–8:11, it is evident that none of these verses were included in the original manuscripts. Therefore, those spurious texts have not been included in this revision.
