Thank you @cyborg27 , I just took a good look at URegina - nice school, lenient entry requirements and affordable. Now I see why a lot of Nairalanders throng there cyborg27: |

needy:Lol! Tell him 120k is too small that you can go as high as 500k, he is not just a thief but a MAD man. Bro go for an affidavit and it will cost you #500 (FIVE HUNDRED NAIRA ONLY)......and it will work just fine. The affidavit should state that your school made a mistake on your DOB (state the wrong DOB) and let them know what the real one is...SHIKENA 1 Like |

spores99:Asking questions that have been answered a thousand times isn't cool at all. You can search for some of these questions on Google or here on this thread (check the top or below the page to see "search", that is if you purposely don't want to read previous pages. Please let's try and put in some work ourselves before asking others to assist. I rest my case |

120k ke. I'm having same problem but just with my last name for example instead of Garrett it was written as Garret on my transcript. With faith I applied to the school as it is, got admitted with Garrett and Garrett is on my passport and all other documents,Applied to cic with faith too.I just hope the name ish will not lead to misrepresentation for VO handling my application because I made a mistake of not doing the affidavit. As Mazi have said, Affidavit will do but make sure you correct It and you need to be physically present in your school because the process will start from your department and faculty forwarding your name and real date of birth to student affairs then to exams and records, Archives and so on and the funny thing is it's still going to student affairs again for stamping (In my school o), long process and i don't think anyone can help you to do it asides you, and make sure you have copy of your final year clearance from department and so on or else you pay for them again and you pay for correction of date of birth to school account too hey plus affidavit. To make it fast, you have to be going there physically everyday to make sure they are working on it. Can't leave my job right now, I'm planning to correct mine too, I need like a month off to do this which is kinda hard. needy: |

maziude: The decision was fast, darn!! Someone waiting since Aprin 27 and Abuiodunne has been waiting close to a year now. Now that said, I agree with you that the VO didn't see the computer health related courses he is admitted to, from CSE that he studied, as career progression. That is why he got purpose of visit. I will add more, the undergraduate program he was given instead of a masters for a CSE graduate, also added insult upon the injury. It made the purpose of visit finding so quick to reach. My advice as yours Maziude of Canada, is to find a masters program in CSE or any field closely related. Order GCMS, it would be foolhardy applying immediately. Shoot for Spring or Fall 2018. When refiring the next application, you need to do more than you have done before in terms of covering the home bases on finances and job. You need more money in your bank to present and long term employment prospect as in letter of employment and pay slips presented to show sufficient heft in employment or employability. I mention employability because if you don't have a job or a good one now, but get into a masters in CSE, you can use your SOP to talk about how lucrative the field is becoming in Nigeria and how that gives you excitement of returning to do some heavy lifting and leading the way forward in software and infrastructural development in Nigeria. PS: PGD/C should be resorted to only as an absolutely last resort. Especially for someone with purpose of visit checked prior against them. |
