komekn:If a player gets into the team and deprives a 'qualified'(this has no definition) player and then the qualified player does not go ahead to fulfil his full potential then we should doubt the quality of that qualified player. Look at Onyekuru. He was invited before. He didn’t pass. He kept on doing his thing. Now another opportunity has been handed to him which I earnestly pray he takes. While I know not every good player will make the team because at the end just 23 has to be chosen, no average player can ultimately stop a quality player from getting into the team. 4 Likes |

[quote author=forgiveness post=61952287] Na me write the report?? I've noticed your style of argument, you try as much as possible to close your eyes to glaring facts especially the ones that won't help in advancing your lame views. I'm sorry to say, intelligent people don't see things like that. I boldened that part out for you to read, that was his agent speaking not me, so you can ask him how and why obtaining a work permit in Spain has become difficult. Is it not the same coach that is playing Kayode? bhahahahi! I told you Goodjoe was the one who thought that, and I could remember icon4s trying to tell him that wasn't true. so that's out of it. Nwakali failed to meet up to expection hence the need to look for a league that befits his standard. Norway was the perfect for his below per average level. Just look at this man. Nwakali never had the chance to showcase what he's got, so on don't know what expectations you talk about. Below average level, the Ekong you have right now as your CB was a youth player at Tottenham, at some point moved to Norway, Belgium and now Turkey which is ranked the 8th best league in Europe by UEFA, the fact that he plays there now doesn't mean he won't get someplace better this summer. Unfortunately, he has also falling short of the requirements for work permit in England hence the need to use the National team. Has Kayode gotten his work permit settled? Perhaps, he himself is not quality enough. Na only you wan start this "using national team to obtain work permit" no be until you play, you go qualify to get permit?? Na only one game fit qualify you? How are you even sure Chidi would play any minute of the game?? Kayode has got a cap already, let's see how far that'd help him obtain permit when summer comes. 1 Like |

Rohr is a focused coach. He identified weaknesses in the full back positions and searched for solutions. With Aina, Ebuehi and Idowu, we have several options now for the full back positions. Shehu has upped his game significantly and that could be as a result of the competition. If Shehu slips up, he can easily be replaced. 8 Likes 1 Share |

daveP:They don't bring anything footballwise to the World Cup but they bring an atmosphere just like the British fans. It's said that once British fans arrive you will know. In 2006 after England was eliminated in the quarter finals a German wept profusely saying that he'd never experience such again cos those wags spent money like mad. 2 Likes |

tbaba1234: It's not as if we can't do without Mikel, bit he's often substituted wrongly. Believe me Agbo, Ogu and Esiti have what it takes to dictate the pace of the game. This is what Ndidi, Onazi, Agu, Etebo can't do. These guys are practically work-horses. 2 Likes |

somehow: The coach decides which positions he still needs options. His invitation of Nwakali indicates that he is still looking for CM/DM options. A few weeks back, i compiled a WC list of players guaranteed of a WC place. Central Midfield had the most openings. The coach knows this too. 4 Likes |

Chrismario: You fail oh. Look my question well Oh. Tottenham is ranked in the top 10 best teams in the World and the premiership is ranked in the top three in the world. And it was in regards to players being considered for the SE not established regulars and for the position of midfield. KC na striker oh. As for the drink if you no fit come Northwest I can come to the east. I actually have about 5 plots of Land in Nsukka that I need to go check. So I am overdue visit. |
