Just spoke to Ogunvic after seeing his post on being robbed.
Guys drive safe and be careful. At the end of the year crime rate is very high.
In spite of the wired fence at Oshodi two weeks ago I witnessed a guy snatch a phone from someone by the window in a bus around 6pm.

Fuel consumption has to do with individual car and driving patterns, several uber/taxify Drivers don't know how to conserve fuel.... I drive conservatively...if I drop a rider I will park my car switch off the engine and wait patiently for the next available rider... Some drivers will even drive an empty car from mainland to island in search of riders... WHAT A PATTERN!!!

Sorry bro God will replenish your pocket. This robbery incident is becoming rampant lately. God will always protect us. I heard of one yesterday at surulere side, they beat the man to coma because he doesn't have money, and another woman was robbed in traffic at gun point.

Your pattern will not work in some places, like Ajah if you take a passenger from Ajah to VI around 7am, it is better not to stay in VI because you can do 5trips if you drive back to LEKKI or AGUNGi. I do that everyday before 11am.,I have done 5trips.

Ok,if you understand the demand in Chevron to lekki every morning you wont like to wait one minute in VI.That is why taxify always mention that place in their message

Those of us that think we can make 100k weekly in uber should move to uber so that we can have less drivers on taxify which will translate to less waiting time for the remaining drivers on Taxify grin grin grin

Your waiting time also depends on your activity score (taxify) & confirmation rate (uber). It's a virtual queue.

I suspect there's racket for surge trips on uber too, but have not been able to confirm. . . .

It takes extra strength and your love for manual tranny to actually drive a manual car, note that u will always be on the move and to be honest it isn't easy. I drove my accent once from vgc to surulere and I felt pains couple with traffic.
This business also gat to do with ratings, 08 corolla will give you a better rating as compared to the yaris but the yaris is more fuel economical and will require less effort as against the corolla.
2008 Passat, hmmmm I haven't driven that but would suggest I should go for it based on the feedbacks I've gotten far
