How many are they? If they are more than 20, continue with your current medication. When next you want to raise a new batch, then you go fully organic.

This is simply the best broilers I have raised. No mortality due to disease but I had 3 mortality out of 102.
2 due to stampede and 1 was pecked by others at the vent and died two days later.

The resistance to disease I may not know since I am using a herbal mixture and good litter management.

Weight was 0.5kg at 2 weeks.
I will update with pictures when I get home.

chikach you will find it difficult trying to get any super starter in Owerri.I even checked the hybrid stuff, i wasn't satisfied. Animal care starter is just very good to go.

Good morning guys ,I notice 80% of my cockerels are having this scabby sores on their face!!
Are this symptoms of a fowl pox?
If yes , how can I cure them before they begins to die..

That’s fowlpox sir. Your pen need to be cleaner and well lit in order to rid the place of mosquitoes as mosquitoes are the vectors of fowlpox. The organic remedy for pox if to scrape the scabs and apply grounded dried black pepper for 5-7days. The inorganic solution is to visit a vet store, purchase ‘Poxoff’ and follow the dosage on. You can also use raw palm oil on the affected parts. It works wonders.

Get Tagari (Christmas Melon) should be gotten and blended. Add it to your bird’s water 10ml to 5L of water (conc. dose) for 7days.
