Mujtahida:

I'd like to see him play just so we confirm if he is one for the long ride because our game crumbles when either Mikel or Onazi is out. That's not good enough. Rohr is testing for options in every area where we have deficiencies and and soft spots. Till now he's still having troubles with the gk department and I read that he's determined to take Enyeama to the World Cup if he's fit and in form even if some officials in the NFF look like they don't want Enyeama. Then again our defence: he's still fine tuning it in terms of personel and that's why Ebuehi, Aina and now Idowu (on standby) have been brought in with Awaziem and Agbo
Then the midfield. He's not satisfied yet. Obviously he believes in Mikel Agu but he's still not going to be sentimental about it, he's pushing to see who would be that perfect fit.
Don't be surprised if another player most likely a CF who has never been invited before is invited to see if he can be the attacking conduit for the team or a good substitute.

I think Rohr already has his team but he's not going to let it rest. The process of fine tuning, tinkering and adjustments have begun.
Yea you are right

i don't think Omeruo is better than any of those guys on the list.

If I had to replace someone, it would be Uche Agbo...so Omeruo and Olamilekan would have to battle for that spot.
ok.

She's only here because she follows me and if the fowl had not quoted her post, she would have left it.

I bet he didn't even get the joke.

I have personally said my piece on his matter and I will not be dragged down to his level any further, so no need for the caution

I have been here long enough to choose my battles. If you want to douse fires, quote the regulars here.

I'd love to see Shehu in the middle some time. He ball movement is good. I think playing as a DM helps in his playing the RB position. He wasn't convincing at first but he's grown into the position. Are you satisfied with his performance? Do you think he supports the attack well? However like Mickael2 said he might be exposed when he's gets tested by a good wing forward .

On C. Nwakali, let him perform when he gets his chance. It's to the health and vibrancy of our team if we have a good squad. I no dey for 'quantifiable, verifiable unit of measurement' of players. My one demand is performed, second demand is perform, third demand is perform. Kpom!

As for Shehu Abdullahi, being the MOTM in the last game is such a mean feat for a Right back. I do not see Rohr tampering with it. Does he support the attack well, I am okay with his overall contribution than just focusing on an aspect of his game. He does a nice job supporting the defence and okay when he goes forward.

As for Chidebere Nwakali, this is his chance to go against some of the big boys in the game. Some of his mates like Nacho and Iwobi have done it on the big stage. It is time for him to give his best. The final call rest on the shoulders of the crew. If they like him fine. If not, the young man needs to keep working hard to achieve greatness.

I am telling you why I think the coach invited Chidebere to camp. You said I criticised Onazi for his erratic play. I am telling you that I am not the coach. My preference is not Rohr's decision.

I do not like Onazi's style but Rohr has stuck with Onazi like Superglue. I respect Rohr's decision.

Allow him work.

If Chidiebere Nwakali gets the nod, I will like to see how he deals with space and Rohr's midfield set-up. Not cry corruption when a player I like gets dropped.

TheGoodJoe:

You have no single idea why Chidebere Nwakali got called up. You were not in the technical room to know what are the attributes they want.

So advertising ignorance will not change the fact that you have no reason to highlight corruption. That is why I could still call out for Kayode when Machin left him on the bench while you kept mute.

Let me make it easy for you. Onazi.

When Onazi injured, we did not have a like for like replacement for him.

That is a defensive midfielder that can cover laps on the field. A mobile defensive midfielder in the mould of Fernandinho.

So all those talking Esiti are missing the attributes factor. Running around and listing names will not highlight those qualities.

After careful search, the closest we have is Chidiebere Nwakali. It is right and logical to invite C. Nwakali and assess how good he is.

We have a video analyst who must have gotten Chidebere Nwakali's tapes, and picked him as a good option.

Then they will study him closely in camp and see if he is good enough to fit the bill.

Not corruption or pulling strings. Keep in mind that the analysts work with softwares that analyse games and training indices.

Stop spreading poor informed opinions. It is really irritating reading it.

One minute, you want like and like of Onazi but in another minute you don't like Onazi's style.

Why are you not consistence for once?

Well he just got the MOTM yes they demolished the non league side Hyde but he was like Yaya Toure running the game.

Not checked the stats buy he had about two assists and one goal. I can see MK Dons beating some championship opposition and maybe an EPL club. It's not impossible I remember them beating sorry flogging, Yes, Manchester United under Van Goal shockingly 4-1.

Heard of Gboly played U20 & U23 for USA see link below.

http://www.derbyshiretimes.co.uk/sport/football/chesterfield-fc/video-what-nottingham-forest-have-bought-and-chesterfield-lost-in-gboly-ariyibi-1-8364941

I saw Aneke's goal. I think it is just good that he is playing again.

I watched the highlights of Gboly, lots of running. I will have to watch a full game to make a fair assessment.

We did not have a like for like replacement. That is in respect of the coach, not what I want. I was okay with Mikel Agu. Even in the first half when he played poorly, I clearly highlighted that Agu should just sit back and cover gaps.

That is my preference.

What is up there is me pointing out why the Nwakali call. Even with Chidiebere Nwakali in the side, I still want Ndidi to sit back and shield. However, that is my preference. Not Rohr.

Ndidi and Iborra midfield combination continues. Eager to see what happens. Nacho on the bench. Mahrez moves back to the right and Gray starts again

Tough match for Leicester City as they face a struggling Stoke City who will take this match very seriously.

Albrighton also on the bench.

I think Iheanacho in front of Iborra and Ndidi would have made the set-up more lethal but let us see how the game goes.

I became a fan of Nwafor instantly . I find it baffling that he didn't go to the WC.

goldfish80:

Egwuekwe also played exceptionally well in Congo. He had a nasty cut on the head but still dug in with his bandaged head. He was a big reason we won that game. People remember Aaron Samuel for scoring the winner but Egwuekwe was the main man.

It leaves me quite sad when people call out players when they want to make a mundane comparison.

On this thread, It has become a fun thing to name Uche Nwaofor in Keshi's shiit list. This same Uche Nwaofor was the top scorer for the John Obuh lead U20 team in 2011.
This guy was so good that Venlo signed him up straight from Rangers. At Venlo, he formed a deadly strike partnership with Ahmed Musa which terrorised teams in Holland. On his Super Eagles debut, he scored a brace against South Africa. The second goal was a back heel which embarrassed Khunle!
I find it a bit odd that he keeps making everyone's shiit list.
