Turks: My own is that none of these multivitamins last upto a week. Just 100-150g..or is there a way to use it? |
Re: ... by uchpanila(m): 1:49pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
EMMAACHILE: Am seeing only one big drinker there.... Is it the only one there, if yes, you refill or its Ok for them for the day because mine is 97 and will be 4 weeks on Monday but 2 big drinkers are not enough for them for the day. |
Re: ... by Nobody: 2:32pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
uchpanila:I refill when its finished. I will get another one today. There currently 69 after selling off 30 to a nairalander. One drinker takes like 8 hours average as I refill thrice a day. |

Re: ... by Turks: 3:29pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
Dosage is always written in the label or in the pack. uchpanila: |
Re: ... by Nobody: 4:09pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
uchpanila: Turks: You are absolutely using it wrongly. Most vitamins use dosage of 1g to 2-4 litres of water. Assuming 20 litres of water a day, you only need 5g to 10g a day. This will last for 10-20 times and its not given everyday. Best bet is to use a local vitamin like sharivit. This will take you all through 8 weeks for even 200 broilers. 1 Like 1 Share |

EMMAACHILE: Turks: Please people like me that don't have scale to measure, how are we to do that? They said it's a teaspoon to one small drinker |
Re: ... by Turks: 6:06pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
A teaspoon is about 2.5g and a chick drinker is 3L. Do the math. uchpanila: |

Re: ... by Nobody: 8:01pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
Chikach:Feed 24/7 day and night. I clean average of 3-4 days depending on how dirty it is. The trick maybe my use of herbs and spices that deworm and disinfect pathogens from the birds at an early age. Pawpaw leaf also is a protein digester for poultry. |
Re: ... by Nobody: 8:37pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
I use very good feed too. |
Re: ... by uchpanila(m): 8:49am On Nov 05, 2017 |
EMMAACHILE: Is it good to use 1or 2 of the leaves or must the three be complete because I can easily get only one around me |
Re: ... by Nobody: 10:41am On Nov 05, 2017 |
uchpanila:Depends on age. How old are yours? Spices are best. |
Re: ... by uchpanila(m): 10:46am On Nov 05, 2017 |
EMMAACHILE: Will be 4 weeks tomorrow |
Re: ... by Nobody: 10:54am On Nov 05, 2017 |
uchpanila:Since there are four weeks, I advise you use your conventional methods. If you must switch, follow this advice First week= 1 garlic and 2 pepper grinded in 10 litre drinker daily for 1 week Other weeks= garlic daily and use pepper two times a week Multivitamin can be used with it. If you still have leafs like pawpaw, you can add it like 1/2 leaf to a drinker once a week. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

EMMAACHILE:Please, what type of spice and herbs? |
Re: ... by Nobody: 11:28am On Nov 06, 2017 |
Patini147:Pepper, Onion, Cucumber fruit Bitter leaf, moringa leaf, pawpaw leaf Used mango and cashew leaves initially but phased them out. The most potent of them if I am to raise again are Pepper, Onion/Garlic, Pawpaw/Bitter leaf and Cucumber fruit. I will be touching in them soon especially use of pepper in broilers. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello house, my birds are sick. I noticed some bloodstained poo over the weekend, I consulted a few persons and they recommended Embazine and Amprolax. I went with Amprolax as recommended by the guys at the store where I was buying the birds. They have been on Amprolax for a day now. I looked at some of the birds today and I noticed some had reddish/swollen faces. Most are still just noticeable but one of them seems to have advanced in symptoms for whatever it is they suffer. Gurus, are my birds suffering from?
