Nwakaeme plays as a LW most times.. but hey, we have about 5 players injured, most of which are starters.
Also considering Rohr seems to be operating based on the pecking order. so yes maybe Iheanacho ahead of Kayode. See now that he has called up Omeruo.
Ogu will get his chance now that Agu and Onazi are out

safarigirl:
Rohr would never start 4 benchers in one game and even if he was starting them, certainly not in this manner.

Kayode that is only in the team because Ighalo got injured cannot jump over Kelechi to start for instance.

Is Nwakaeme a winger? Can he play that role better than Onyekuru?

Anyway, it's your preferred line-up

Ex-Flying Eagles Skipper On Target For CD Lugo Vs Real Oviedo
Published: November 05, 2017

Former Flying Eagles skipper Ramon Azeez scored his second goal of the season but could not prevent CD Lugo from losing 3-2 to Real Oviedo in a Segunda División clash at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere on Sunday afternoon.

The defensive midfielder equalized for his team on the hour mark (2-2), with a right footed shot from the center of the box to the top right corner off an assist from Nicolás Albarracin.

Cristian Herrera had given the visitors the lead in the 11th minute, before goals from Saul Berjon and Miguel Linares in the opening minutes of the second half turned the game on its head.

Aaron Niguez scored in the 71st minute to snatch all three points for Real Oviedo.
Ramon Azeez opened his goal-scoring account for CD Lugo against Barcelona in September and had gone six games without scoring before facing Real Oviedo.

The 24-year-old has not played for the national team for more than three years.

Russian league ranked 6th in Europe how many Nigerian play in that league

Fegor Ogude plays in the same club as Brian Idowu forgotten to as well.

Why are they being forgotten They are not youth players but seasoned professionals playing at a very good level regularly.

Or maybe they need to go to Norway in a backwater leagues and in a bottom club. Then they might be seen by the esteemed scouting team of the NFF.

What does Ogude have going for him?? That he plays in the 6th best league in Europe??

Deportivo goalkeeper Uzoho delight at Nigeria call-up

Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has paid tribute to the Spanish club after earning his maiden call-up to Nigeria's senior squad.

Uzoho, 19, has been named in the 24-man squad to take on Algeria in a World Cup qualifier and then a friendly against Argentina this month.

"It probably wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been promoted to the first team at Deportivo," he told BBC Sport.

"They've really helped me and hopefully I can repay the faith,"
he added.

Uzoho's national call-up comes off the back of a strong start to his Deportivo career and Nigeria's quest for additional goalkeepers.

He became the youngest foreign goalkeeper to ever play in La Liga last month.

"I feel I owe the former manager [Pepe Mel] a lot as well and I am grateful to the players and management of the second team and senior side and I thank God for his favours," said Uzoho.

Leicester City trio of Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa plus Arsenal's Alex Iwobi join captain and China-based John Mikel Obi in a strong Super Eagles side.

In-form Henry Onyekuru, who has scored seven goals this season on loan at Belgian side Anderlecht from Everton, returns as part of an experienced 24-man squad named by coach Gernot Rohr.

He has also handed a maiden call-up to Norway-based Chidiebere Nwakali, who like Uzoho, won the U-17 World Cup with Nigeria in 2013.

Chelsea's Victor Moses is still recovering from a hamstring injury, while coach Rohr will also be without injured regular left-back Elderson Echiejile and striker Odion Ighalo.

Nigeria have already qualified for next year's finals in Russia with both Moses and Echiejile a key figure.

After facing Algeria in Constantine on 10 November, Nigeria travel to Russian city of Krasnodar for the friendly with Argentina on 14 November.

so you mean obasi is better presently than Moses Simon?
you've not even make mention of olayinka who has much assist this season even as a winger.....

so please let's not start this....I know where this may head to....probably a clamour for the call of obasi.....
and my oga who knows how to rank leagues will jettison that parameters for another just to make case for him....

I won't be surprised if he says the Swedish league is ranked 7th in the world...after all only him know how this rankings and parameters works....

I'm not trying to start stuff, but truth be told I rate Obasi miles ahead of Simon. Have you watched him recently for AIK? Only problem he had was injuries. His touches oozes class, positional sense is very high, and he is very skillful. Moses Simon is just only skillful but not really intelligent. If Rohr says he wants to invite Obasi I wouldn't mind for one bit. It's just my opinion. Disclaimer - I have no stats to support things like lifetime dribbles, etc; it's just my korokoro eyes on what I watch on tv.

Just imagine Joiel Obi, Iwobi, Obasi, Iheanacho and V.Moses in our lineup from MF to attack (arrange it how you like), do you know how much flair that is... But I know it can never happen not under Rohr

Obasi has lost some pace but he is still a decent player. He has 6 goals from 10 games this season in the Swedish league. I do not think he has any chance of going to the world cup. He plays more as a center forward these days and that position is booked.

Arsenal star Alex Iwobi: Man City goal was offside - the result flattered them

MANCHESTER CITY’S third goal should have been ruled out for offside, according to Arsenal star Alex Iwobi.

By Harry Howes / Published 6th November 2017

The Gunners were 2-0 down but got themselves back into the game when substitute Alexandre Lacazette fired a shot through Ederson’s legs.

But City restored their two goal advantage when Gabriel Jesus slotted in David Silva’s cross.

Both players could have been flagged for offside and Iwobi felt that the third goal killed the momentum that Arsenal were building.

“We were pushing to get the equaliser but unfortunately the referee wasn’t able to see that it was offside,” he said.

“There’s nothing that you can do, we just have to move on to the next game.

“Maybe we weren’t composing ourselves like we were in the first 10 or 15 minutes. Man City are a very good team and you have to give credit to them, but I believe the result doesn’t show how well we did.”

Iwobi started his fourth Premier League game of the season, perhaps controversially as it saw summer signing Lacazette dropped to the bench.

The Frenchman proved a point with a well taken goal and Iwobi insists the result could have been different if he’d been played from the start.

He added: “We had an extra attacking player going forward but at the end of the day we set up very well to play against City and we were just unfortunate.

“Maybe if he’d started on the wing it would have been different, but it is what it is.”

The defeat leaves Arsenal sixth in the table, 12 points behind league leaders City.

Both sides return to action after the international break, as Arsenal host Tottenham while City travel to Leicester.

Watford striker 'quits booze' -Report

Watford striker Isaac Success has reportedly stopped drinking alcohol as he battles his way back to full fitness following surgery.

The Nigerian international, who underwent surgery to repair a knee injury ‎earlier in Barcelona recently, faces at least two months out.

Success has failed to live up to his lofty price-tag since his move from Granada, and a recent alleged run-in with four commercial sex workers at a Hertfordshire hotel saw him reminded of his obligations to the club by boss Marco Silva.

However, the player's intermediary has told a Nigerian website that Success will be a new man when he gets back to the Watford line-up.

”He (Success) has quit drinking even before the surgery, Success has queried himself and upon his return fans of Watford will see a brand new fit and hungry forward in him," his intermediary told Owngoalnigeria.com.

"Success will be like a new signing for Watford upon his return. He is heavily focused and working hard to prove those who have always believe in him. In the next one month when he returns you will see what am talking about."

Nice news and I hope Isaac Success can keep it up. Richarlison is on fire and very hardworking. It will take Success a lot of work to get into the team.

If he believes in his talent and work his socks off, he can surprise himself.

Former coach urges Watford's Isaac Success to focus on football after off-field misdemeanours

By Hertfordshire Mercury | Posted: November 03, 2017

By Matt Storey

Former Nigerian international Emmanuel Amunike has warned Watford winger Isaac Success to focus on football if he wants to live up to his potential.

Success made his full international debut for the Super Eagles in March, but his career has stalled somewhat since moving to Hertfordshire last summer and his only competitive appearance this season came in the Carabao Cup.

Walter Mazzarri was infuriated by Success' lack of professionalism and off-field activities, and they have continued under Marco Silva - Success was front page news last month after reportedly demanding his money back from three prostitutes.

Reports suggest that the 21-year-old, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury, has given up alcohol as he looks to reignite his career and Amunike, who is currently the Nigeria U17 coach and was an assistant at that age group when Success featured for them, says the youngster needs to appreciate the impact his off-field activities will have on his game.

"It was sad ‎to hear about the unfortunate event but it has happened and he needs to pick himself up and move on," he told Sporting Life.

"The truth is that football won't last forever, so he needs to focus because his achievements today will help him stay relevant even when his playing days are over.

It is more than a year since Success netted his only Watford goal

"He is strong, fast and has an eye for goal which can make him a great player in future but he needs to cut away the sort of behaviour that will affect his game.

"I know Isaac very well because he trained with us at the U17 level."

He continued: "I must commend the club by standing by him and the comments of the manager have been very positive, which shows that he believes in the player."

So all this complaining by forgiveness as regards Nwakali. It was actually Lawal he had he mind when he accused me of lying after I mentioned 3 names that came to my mind. Oga forgiveness, I've not been keeping tabs on Lawal like you have. Not like he's been making headlines anyway. I wish I could read your mind to determine your Super Eagles best XI. Actually, I think I know what it would look like.

If you really followed the debate you should have known that tbaba1234 claimed Rohr was looking for a better DM because we don't have a DM who can play multiple roles and he challenge me to list any DM eligible for call. That was why I listed 4 players better than Chidiebere Nwakali in that role.

Later, thegoodjoe in his defence claimed Chidiebere Nwakali was scouted out because he has certain attributes the players I listed lacked but I disagreed by showing videos to dismantle one of his false claims that Raheem lawal can't run with the ball. I could not get the video of Hope Akpan on net hence the need not to drag about him.

As you can see, na talk bring talk. So, stop chosen sides and judge well.
