It is better Nigerians begin to accept facts no matter how hard we should strive to improve rather than boast foolishly about being giants in Africa! 4 Likes |

dang it naija broda please read this...its a quote from aljazeera But the apparent unwillingness to respond to threats is harder to explain. Chris Ngwodo, a Nigerian political analyst, diagnosed the problem as one of “conceptual orientation.” Over the years, he said, “ the military and security forces were designed to protect the head of state and his government from coups, not protect national security . That continues to paralyse our response to security issues. It is the fundamental problem.” The impotence in the face of Nigeria’s national security crisis was underlined again in tragic fashion. A police source told Reuters that a Nigerian fighter jet flew over the town of Gamburu while a group of gunmen, believed to be Boko Haram, were slaughtering more than 125 people. But the rebels, aware the military lacked the capacity to target them while they were scattered in a densely populated area, or mobilize a defense force in time to stem the flow of civilian blood, reportedly “didn’t flinch.”
[/s] mtis:See pain. 1 Like |

TayserMahiri:Hahahahahs,so you have to type a novel to hide your shame.Your stupid soldiers were caught on cameras stealing at the scene of a terrorist attack and you are this angry. Can. you please explain why your "well trained" army is ranked far below that "poorly paid" Nigerian army? Sorry, those tea farmers you call soldiers probably didn't know what CCTV is. 1 Like |

obaaderemi: That fake laugh, you're trying too hard to keep the convo going. Soldiers loot everywhere American soldiers have been captured looting in all manner of places. What matters is whether action is taken. In case you didnt read the novel, I was just trying to sympathize with your poor soldiers who know they'll die either way, whether they fight Boko boys or not. 4 Likes |

TayserMahiri:
That video of your tea farmer soldiers stealing chocolate and bread really hit you hard you have to bring American army into this. Show us videos of American soldiers looting in their own country after a terrorist attack. At least those illiterate soldiers should know there is something called CCTV. 1 Like |

Did you know that due to the volatile nature of Nigeria waterways, foreign shipping companies spend over N13.76 billion ($45 million) annually to escort their vessels from one point to another on Nigeria’s waterways. “Currently, Maersk Line told me they spend between $15 million and $18 million annually to those escorting their vessels from one point to another on our waterways.” But, the minister said all attacks on the nation’s waterways will subside as the federal government has contracted an Israeli firm to monitor and secure Nigerian coastal waters against maritime crimes.
