Hello house, my birds are sick. I noticed some bloodstained poo over the weekend, I consulted a few persons and they recommended Embazine and Amprolax. I went with Amprolax as recommended by the guys at the store where I was buying the birds. They have been on Amprolax for a day now.

I looked at some of the birds today and I noticed some had reddish/swollen faces. Most are still just noticeable but one of them seems to have advanced in symptoms for whatever it is they suffer.

Gurus, are my birds suffering from?

your liter management is poor.
Air qaulity in your pen is compromised,so check ventilation.
since you are on a conventional means of growing, return to the vert store and request for a good Anti-CRD drug. combine it with the anti-cocci you have and follow the instruction for dosage and duration on the paper.
As for organic farming, use extracts of ginger,garlic and scent leave 10ml of each in 2liters of water is the quantification and administer for 5days.
please whenever you notice ammonia gas build up in a pen ,please clean u ASAP.

Thanks a lot man, you're right on their litter, it's a mess. I would change it tomorrow morning and get the drugs too.

I've got CHI, I don't what strain though, they are doing 1.4kg at 5 weeks, I'm particularly not impressed especially with their height. I should give agrited a trial next batch

I travelled and I left my birds in the care of someone and I made available all the necessary feeds and med but came back to meet them like this. My concern is there growth. They are 8weeks now. Please what are ur views?

I have been battling with fowl pox for the pass 2weeks now, I bought a drugs to treat the fowl, I administer the drugs to my cockerel for 5 consecutively days, after the administration, there is no improve, I now repeat the same procedure for another 3days.. Things begins to worst.
Some of them comb is decaying , some are not active, some as lost weight..
Someone told me what can feed I do give to them , I told him I do fed dem with top feed , but I do mix the feed with Eri Ogi ( a kind of maize meal extracted from maize wen processing pap ).
He told me to stop mixing it to the feed, so I stopped , that was 5days ago
Eva since then , no still improvement.
Pls guys I need you gurus to help me out bf Iose all my cockerel
