Good morning Friendz, Been following this thread for quite sometime, bt dis is actually my first post and will really need some clarifications. Been a little bit laid back on pursuing dis german journey, even though I have been able to get myself sorted out in terms of what course to pursue, school nd funding, my major worries are: What are the prospects for graduates in the arts, since Germany is technologically inclined, and seems to have more opportunties for Engineers, ppl in IT, and other sciences? In terms of immigration after study (i.e getting a legal stay after studying), how easy is it, what are the procedures? I know some would say get there first before thinking about this, however, I would like to have an idea of what it is like. |

Initially, I applied for Law, but I was given W kurs, I told them if it was possible to change, that I needed G kurs, Wegen Mathematik , , so I gave her some list , so I got English Philology, that's not what I want to study, I'll be doing Media and Communication, Journalism or International Relations. The school doesn't have this, I'll use the result from G kurs to apply elsewhere. Jigba: |

I applied to Georg August University Göttingen and I've been invited to take Aufnahme Prüfung at Leibniz Universität Hannover. I applied with A2 though, I've opened a blocked account with Fintiba and waiting for money to be deposited in it. Should I book an appointment? Even though I'm not sure when I'll fund it yet. Please, I need tips for the interview, what are the questions likely to be asked? Thanks. |

ibnkokumo: Smart move The mathematic no be here I also applied last time, even wrote the entrance exam but I didn't pass the Maths, cause it's harder than what they put on their website, the german was very simple for me. Though I have tons of entrance exams to write in January so I hope to pass at least one. If you need help with the german, pm me. I could send you the book I used to prepare for the exam then Did you also apply to other Studienkollegs?? It's advisable to apply to as many as you can 1 Like |

No, I haven't applied to any other Studienkolleg, I don't have my B1 yet, writing in 3 weeks. Are you in Germany already? If one doesn't pass does he need to come back?? I plan to also verbessen my German after the exam. My exam date is March 2nd, how long does it take to get visa after the interview? Jigba: |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by Nobody: 12:19pm On Nov 14, 2017 |
ibnkokumo: Yes I'm already in Germany. No, you don't come back. My friend came here since last year, but he just got into studienkolleg this semester. Also note that I'm not on student visa. I don't really know how long it takes to process visa, cause it's different for everyone. March 2nd? You still have time 1 Like |
