Hmmn......I admire ur meticulous observation, NL is very popular in Nigeria, it's even the second most searched African site after jumia. Meaning that some Africans also know about NL.

much Nigerians are not on the forum cos of many reasons which are best known to them, but I think one of the reason is the character/behavior of NLders towards each other, there are about 6X more visitors than active members on a daily basis, if those visitors see the childish or immature characters of senseless people that find their way to the front page, it's gonna be a bad omen for the visitors who visits the front page very often. Visitors may see NL as an unworthy forum that depicts the ignorance of other people and choose not to open an account.

A sport that's only played by a handful of nations and not even among the top 10 sports in the world.
There a more countries participating in a fifa world cup than there are countries playing professional rugby.
