Smart fouls are part of the game, bro. My major concern with Ogu are the late challenges ... tackles from behind, etc.
Remember how Italy took out two of our best players, without even getting a card, in the USA '94 World Cup? In Brazil, France did the same thing ... that Blaise Matuidi's challenge was a clear red card offence but he disguised it very well and got away with a yello.

O pari

Mujtahida:

Ndidi was the roughest against Argentina. He committed more fouls than any other SE player.

I am one of those who believes in Agu. I am only comparing his showing with that of Ogu. Ogu performed better. Don't say cameo ooo. As it stands every player should psyche himself to give his all even if he's given a cameo. Ebuehi had 45 minutes, he ran and ran cos that opportunity might not come again. Even if he misses out to Russia, nobody will say it was because he was poor in performance.
True talk my guy

Definitely we w discuss it here just like we discussed WAFU here, the only thing you don't quote if you don't have interest.

They are our foundation so they cannot be forgotten, remember Ezenwa and Ajiboye are part of the team,so is a must for me to watch.

The same team have produced Alhassan Muzzam who walked straight from local club to a starter in Europe, don't forget Stephen Odey.

Rayo Vallecano have joined the Spanish clubs chasing Sone Aluko and aim to tempt the Rangers forward with a £14,500-per-week contract. (the Sun)
...................................................................................

Sone Aluko only signed for Rangers in November of 2011, but fortunately for the former Aberdeen man, he had enough time to impress before things took a turn for the worse at Ibrox. La Liga side Rayo Vallecano were actively pursuing him later that season, but with their own financial situation taking a nosedive it would be difficult for them to renew their move. A switch to the Championship is perhaps more likely, with Charlton and Crystal Palace both thought to be interested in the pacey winger, though the three clubs promoted to the Premier League - Southampton, Reading and West Ham - could also be tempted.

...................................................................................

Do you really want to know why he did not play much in the EPL? Let us cure our ignorance.

Just after that though his first problems with his Achilles started and that basically ended his first season.

He had recovered by the start of the following Premier League season and he scored a superb goal at Newcastle but those Achilles problems dogged him for that whole of that season.

“By the time he got back properly fit it was almost as if the club had moved on, they’d spent big money on Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic and he was out of the picture a bit

Pls, let us stop embarrassing ourselves na..

I don't think he would tho. He's a German. OK, a Franco-German but he has a German heart. They are the most cold blooded human beings in the world. They have no soul .... no emotion, if you know what I mean grin

And by the way, one shocking player who might miss the cut is Jude Ighalo .... especially if Rohr decides to stick with this his false 9 system.

There's space for Ighalo in the team oo.
Iwobi, Moses and Iheanacho are the attackers sure to make our WC list...Ighalo will make the list for sure...
And there's no guarantee yet that Rohr will be sticking to a 3 man defence permanently.

It will be much better if we just use the 3 man defence as a back up plan and the major reasons are

1) The wing back issue- Shehu has been one of our best player since the qualifier started.. But against Argentina he showed that he can't play the wing back role well. It won't be good if Rohr drops for Ebuehi or Moses.. The same applies to Echijele and Aina. Let's play the boys in their natural role

2) It will limit our attacking.. imagine us meeting Iran at the world cup again and we play a 3 man defence.. we will just set a record of playing the most boring world duo group game back to back... We should try the formation against bigger oppositions like Germany,Spain,France. But so far,the 4-2-3-1 has favoured us a lot..

#MyOpinion.

**Modified**
We can still use a false 9 in a 4-3-3 system.. Klopp uses Firmino in that role with Liverpool..

Nwakaeme is a good player but not suitable for our current style. If we play Nwakaeme we go dey hear clang, clack, gri gri gri in the engine of the team perhaps with a goal or two to show for it. But Omo, all our goals against Argentina were so fluid that if you don't concentrate the only thing you'd see is the ball inside the net.

The last bolded is why I prefer Kayode to Nwakaeme. He is pacy and strong and relentless. He would slot into our turbo charged forward line better than Nwakaeme.

Gbam!

Even if when he's given another chance and he scores an hat trick, I still won't be sold on him.

Long and Jelavic are strikers. Aluko mostly plays as a winger/AM. He rarely plays as a 9 and let's be honest, he isn't making our first 11 as one considering he can't bench Shane Long and Jelavic.
