I could only contact Flexisaf guys who confirmed that I was shortlisted for the scholarship but may not have been awarded by PTDF because of my MSc admission was not ready then that they asked us for feedback on our admission status. But some awardees name were still published under "Further Documentation Required" which presumably indicates those that their offers were not ready as at then. I have gone ahead to secure Masters admission because of this scholarship. If I am denied in this way, it's horrible!!! Whoever can assist me is welcome. Thanks

Yes I filled it. I hadn't secured any MSc admission yet by then. It seems I'm the only person having this horible experience.

((Dear Stanley,

I sympathize with you on this unfortunate development but to refer to the email earlier sent to on updating your admission status, the mail read "successful shortlisted" this means you were shortlisted to get the scholarship but not yet awarded.


The PTDF couldn't have chosen all successful shortlisted candidates and was careful not to give scholarships to those candidates who were yet to secure an admission to any local university. We encourage you to try again for the next scholarship scheme.

It feels terrible to be denied this scholarship with such an excuse even when the published list also has names of those that hadn't secured admission as at then as well under "Further Documentation Required"

P.S. Currently I have secured MSc admission.

I think i should mention, after much restrain, that you and others carrying this notion are in a sorry state of mind, with due respect. And i hope you will give chance to people who still have faith in the system to adequately prepare for the exam. Many of these people here will appear on next year's trend discussing on how to write the test again not because it is rigged but they kept rigmarolling instead of having 'just a little faith on the system, no thanks to the quoted text on this message. You must agree with me that the list brought out by Ptdf is merit ( about 175 of them). If the problem is how manage there are more people than 175 being sent for study, then maybe u need to know more. Ptdf scholarship board is a channel for awarding nysc presidental scholarship, tetfund, pressid of blessed memory and federal government scholarship or so. In as much as i agree with you in airing your opinion, i hope i have convinced a few people who would rather have been discouraged by comments like this. The system still works.

No special materials oo, I just studied online, tried some online questions/tests, u can get some at indiabix.com. U are tested based on d specialty u choose, it consists of 50 questions & general English questions consisting of 100 questions.
