Funny post! For the past four days, Bn reading people's stories here on a lowkey & commenting, submitted my 2nd application on oct 18th, for some funny reason, I didn't link it online this time around because of the emotional stress, I decided to link online tonight but my mind told me to track it first & see what's up, app shows that passport has been dispatched since 15th, with no approval mail, safe to say...I love canny but maybe God has better plans...it is well |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by tommee: 10:01am On Nov 19, 2017 |
Arebo: How did you address your lump? and hope you also addressed insufficient funds generally. Because lump sum is always perceived by the V.O as borrowed money into the account just to get TRV. 1) Did you provide proof of the lump sum? 2) Did you open a or transfer to a personal dorm account your living expenses from the account the lump sum was noticed? 3) After your first delay, Did you pay 1 year tuition out of the account the lump sump was noticed to show that the money is actually for your study 4) Did you provide an updated sponsor letter stating the origin of lump and what he has done afterwards as fresh evidence and financial commitment after the first delay (maybe pay balance of your tuition or provide bank letter) 5) After your first delay did you estimate how the total funds available to you will be spent If all the above was done and you still got delayed the second time then i support the motion that you should contact them to re-open your case. All in all please don't give up its has been said here that financial reasons is the easiest to tackle so don't throw away your wonderful written SOP, your admission, the stress to gather all documents, time wasted, and dreams because of funds that you no is genuinely available to you Am seeking GOD in my next application too. Gurus can also add this is just my understanding Regards 1 Like |

Arebo: For you to have been asking that question you were already negative about it from the first instance. Thats not a good spirit at all you have to be positive at all times. you need to find that energy for your next shot and believe me you will thank me next year |

tommee: It's okay to ask a question if a case can be denied if someone tackles lump sum. Such questions in no way, form or shape connote negativity. Yes it can be denied even after addressing lump sum, the VO's discretion is extremely broad. Even if you provided everything and tackled everything, they can still deny you. It's a privilege to be given a visa, not a right. By the same token, I would say it's okay for people to decide they don't want to try this visa search anymore and want to do something else with their lives. It's okay. Nobody can say how many times people should try and apply for visa. Everyone knows for themselves when they reach the end of the road of their trying. The end of the road for no two people is the same. For some it's once or twice, for some it's thrice, for some it's ten. Different strokes for different folks. But I should say this, there are ways to invoke the VO positive exercise of discretion in your case. Just the way you write your SOP you can make a VO like you. Your humility and truth with the facts of your case, all contribute to a VOs view of you. Use of wrong grammar and punctuation errors are also sure ways to get the VO not like you and deny your application even when you submitted and met all their requirements. That is the nature of discretion. Good luck and best wishes to all aspirants. 3 Likes |
