Ibime:whenever this KDB's issue comes up, the only thing you bring up is politics. Something that has no proof. Why did politics not chase hazard, schurrle, willian and co out. KDB like many other Chelsea young players over the years had the potential (just like musonda now) but thought he should be starting when he has done nothing to prove that he deserves it. Oga, if you are good, you are good, no politics can stop a good player from playing. Hazard came to Chelsea and immediately hit the ground running. No kind of politics would have stopped hazard from playing. I will just ask you these questions and I will end this issue ever. If KDB had hit the ground running like rashford had done at United, would Mourinho had benched him to test schurrle and willian? If Mourinho played politics on KDB's issue, why did he start him for Chelsea's first matches of the season? If KDB had not started well at Manchester city, would pellegrini have benched him for an alternative or not? Was Mourinho playing politics with mhkitaryan when he started out to bench him last season? Was conte playing politics with fabregas when he was benching him last season? Oga Ibime please answer the following sincerely. 4 Likes |

Greatihex: You are talking nonsense. Rashford hit the ground running and JM brought in big names like Ibra and Lukaku to replace him. If JM had brought Solanke to replace him, will that go down well with the fans? In football, there is something called status. Hazard came in with £32m of status, an investment to be protected. If Hazard had come through youth system, he will definitely chop bench while the club seek returns om their £25m players. It's the same reason why Torres £50m was being protected at the expense of Sturridge and Lukaku who came in for peanuts. You typing nonsense about hit the ground running. If KDB was bought from Germany for £25m instead of being a loan returnee, no politics will be played with him. KDB first match he won MOTM providing a sumptuous assist, 2nd match he played well at Old Trafford. . . . and that was it. Did you expect him to score 2 hattricks to prove he has hit the ground running? If you did not how to watch football in 2013, you should kindly shut up in 2017. KDB did exactly what those who know football know he will do from the minute he left Chelsea. 7 Likes |

After a successful loan spell in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen, De Bruyne was linked with a move to stay in Germany with either Borussia Dortmund or Bayer Leverkusen . Incoming manager José Mourinho , however, assured De Bruyne he was a part of Chelsea's plan for the future, and the player officially returned to Chelsea on 1 July 2013. [30] De Bruyne injured a knee while scoring his first goal for Chelsea, in a pre- season friendly game against a Malaysia XI, [31]but was fit to make his competitive debut on the opening day of the 2013–14 Premier League season against Hull City , and made an assist for the first goal in a 2–0 win. [32] If Mourinho wanted to play politics with KDB, the above wouldn't have happened. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Greatihex(m): 1:17pm On Nov 20, 2017 |
On 30 August 2015, Manchester City announced the arrival of De Bruyne on a six-year contract, for a reported club-record fee of £55 million(€75 million) making him the second most expensive transfer in British football history after Ángel Di María 's move to Manchester United in 2014. [52][53] He made his debut for the team in the Premier League on 12 September against Crystal Palace , replacing injured Sergio Agüero in the 25th minute. [54]On 19 September, he scored his first goal for the club against West Ham United in first half stoppage time in an eventual 2–1 loss. [55]He went on to score in a 4–1 League Cup win against Sunderland , on 22 September [56]and a 4–1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on 26 September. [57]On 3 October, he scored in the team's 6–1 win against Newcastle United . [58] If he had done this when he came to Chelsea, no level of politics would have sent him away. |

Greatihex: How many league games did KdB play under Mourinho. He had 1 assist in 2 games and how many did he play in Man City to hit the ground running? |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Ibime(m): 1:23pm On Nov 20, 2017 |
Greatihex: So you are showing KDB actually did well in the 2 opportunities he was given? Yes KDB was presented with the MOTM in his first game. In his 2nd game, he performed brilliantly at Old Trafford. How does this relate to your assertion that KDB flopped at Chelsea? At the start of that season, Mata was injured and Willian wasn't signed till deadline day. JM was also starting Schurrle as a striker. In the space created by these absences, KDB grabbed his opportunity with BOTH HANDS, but the politics of the situation is that Willian was bought for £32m (not by JM) on deadline day, and KDB was returned to the place always designed for him which was to be squad fodder. Intelligent people will recall minutae detail of past events and will tell the full story, not some average intelligence bloke that will come telling us stories in 2017 of events that are beyond his recollection. |

eph12:morata goals won Madrid 13points that also helped them in winning the league. What it means is that he scored crucial goals that have them points just like the way Costa scored crucial goals that gave us points for the league last season despite hazard and co scoring. Your lukaku didn't do this, his goals didn't not give Everton any crucial point |

Wonder why people are acting up because of KDB's sale. Chelsea sold him for maximum value. Chelsea had so many options at the time. KDB was'nt defensive the way he is now. KDB's career could have ended under Mou, he made a call to save his career. Manager's only care about how a player fits their plan. Who should have made way for KDB who plays CM, AM, RM; Lampard, Oscar, Willian, Mata, Ramires? Andre S was Hazard's back-up and a squad player who could play as a forward. Lampard and Ramires experience needed, i vote Ramires. Politics or not, removing Mata was a statement in changing the way Chelsea play, call it pride. Willian, 25, was better than KDB. Oscar just had a great debut season and even made Mata's lose less felt. KDB ran like Lukaku out of Chelsea. KDB should have replaced Lampard and Chelsea wouldn't have had to buy Fabregas the way Chelsea got rid of Salah only to get Pedro. Marketability, Profile, Politics it's already done. |

Ibime:Mourinho did not remember politics when he gave KDB first two starts of the season ahead of a more expensive schurrle and an established mata? Mourinho has forgotten how to play politics in the case of £50+ million martial and rashford? Or is there no investment there to protect? Or, is Chelsea no longer playing politics in the case of Christensen? Is musonda's own politics too? Oga, the bottom line is that, a good market sells itself. "ahia oma n'ere onwe ya" You and I know that Mourinho is one of the last managers that will put anything ahead of performance, not even sentiments. It will be understandable if you tell us that you love KDB for his style of play and therefore, have a soft soft spot for him. That you are not happy that he could not wait to make it at Chelsea. But, don't blame anyone for him not making. It all has to do with the player himself and nothing else. He was not patient and was also rude on top of it. 1 Like |

How do players even think before choosing a transfer move? See Mkhytary left Dortmund an attacking built team (fast ball) and moved to play under Mou. I wonder what talented winger in his right mind would move to play under Mou. Anthony Martial is just unlucky not to have the right amount ego to face Mou, 2 years that guy hasn't developed even Lemar and Coman might now bench him in france. |
