You might want to reconsider re-applying for this January. I just got a mail from Humber college, an update on the Ontario colleges faculty strike. It is now resolved and the new start date is now January 29th, previously 8th January.

What is your status at Qatar? If you merely a visitor, your application might be denied for status in country of application. If you are lucky it would be forwarded to Ghana for processing. However if you have permanent residency or student status in Qatar, might only be taking its sweet time to process. The average processing time is merely as stated---average. Please how should one tackle the issue of accommodation during visa application. I know it’s advisable to pay for school accommodation to increase ones chances of securing a visa but in my case where the school accommodation and meal plan is on the high side ( 9k for 7 months). Do I go ahead to make say 3 months deposit for a place outside school to show my commitment or have the money kept in a domiciliary account with financial statements to back it up. All I have for my living expenses for a year is 7k. I have paid one year tuition already and my school is in Ontario

Make it very difficult (impossible) for the VO to deny you. It's a lot of work to pull this off if you are a complex applicant, but it's possible. Edited: I know someone, with a low 2:2, no job & no personal assets, who got approved for a TRV this year. He put together an amazing application. You can too.

Hello guys, I'm in serious need of help. I got refused a Canadian student visa for a January start at Medicine Hat College, Alberta. I applied for it here in the UK as I am currently in Scotland. The reasons given were TRAVEL HISTORY, IMMIGRATION STATUS IN THE UK and PURPOSE OF VISIT.

If any of you guys have any idea on how to tackle these issues, please may you forward them to me please.
I included every possible document in my first application so I am really perplexed by the refusal.
