Good day house Please how should one tackle the issue of accommodation during visa application. I know it’s advisable to pay for school accommodation to increase ones chances of securing a visa but in my case where the school accommodation and meal plan is on the high side ( 9k for 7 months). Do I go ahead to make say 3 months deposit for a place outside school to show my commitment or have the money kept in a domiciliary account with financial statements to back it up. All I have for my living expenses for a year is 7k. I have paid one year tuition already and my school is in Ontario |

jnyuwa02:Yes I was born here have my permit that's why applied from here the processing time on CIC website says 7 weeks without counting the days for VAC what does it mean it took only one day to end to vac Abu Dhabi from Qatar. It's been 6 weeks and I'm waiting what should I do? VFS don't give accurate answer where can I contact CIC officer did anyone here ever contacted CIC directly do they reply? Please help me I'm really really worried that I will miss January intake last date to join uni is 15 January |

OFFICIALAEL: I believe you don't need to "tackle" the issue of accommodation but rather your living expenses. You'd need to show proof of fund in excess of $10,000CAD. Just let go of the stress and have your sponsor balance the $7,000CAD in your dorm with $3,000CAD. Having $10,000CAD in a dorm account shows you have fund to cover your cost of living for a year, unlike paying for a 3 months accommodation. Just my 2.785 cents. |

Incorrect216: Just wait, there is plenty of time for you to resume school. It's Qatar for crying out loud. Come to Nigeria and wait 22 weeks last time I checked and that is only average. The fact that they say average processing time doesn't mean your application will take that long. It could take more or less the average processing time. |

Hello guys, I'm in serious need of help. I got refused a Canadian student visa for a January start at Medicine Hat College, Alberta. I applied for it here in the UK as I am currently in Scotland. The reasons given were TRAVEL HISTORY, IMMIGRATION STATUS IN THE UK and PURPOSE OF VISIT. If any of you guys have any idea on how to tackle these issues, please may you forward them to me please. I included every possible document in my first application so I am really perplexed by the refusal. I am planning to re-apply as fast as I can. Thanks for all.
