Chai tribalism is so deep, I didn't even remember that the guy is from somewhere when I said that stuff is not agbada on another thread.

Its nice, sleek, well tailored but its not agbada shikena.

There are different male outfits/ version of the agbada.

Dashiki
Dariye
Dabole

Experienced tailors know the drill, they all have their different styles. Dashiki was in vogue at some point.

Don't get it twisted, Agbada is a Yoruba word and it originates from Yorubaland.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agbada

If you can read well and does not lack comprehension, you will understand from the link you quoted that even though Yoruba called it Agbada, the style did not originate from Yoruba! Or you did not read the sub-topic - history of Agbada?

SHAKABOOM:

In those days the yorubas that wore agbada ad the yorubas that first rode on horse were the yorubas that shared border with the hausas ad other northern states e.g ibadan, kwara ad co.
They acquired dia clothes, weapons ad horses tru trade by batter with the hausas, nupes ad fulanis..After coping dia dress code they passed it down to other yorubas,Other yorubas now reinvented dia own style.
Ok, take the history to the elders

True talk but point of correction agbada is not dia attire..It was introduced to them by the northerners tru ibadan ad ilorin.

Shameful lots
atleast there is nothing meaningful going on igboland that anyone can beat.

You guys already have drugs and other crimes on lock down, no other tribe can beat you to it.

Hahaha! Omo see beef oooh..Weder its agbada or not his cloth beat all the agbadaz in the occasion hands down.

The yam head said yorubas are amongst the tribe that own agbada..For where..Agbada belongs to the northerners ad yorubas copied it from the northerners..
The yorubas that share border with the north copied it ad passed it down to other yorubas..Eg ibadan, ilorin ad co..They were the first yorubas to wear agbada..Why is it the ancient osun pipu the craddle of yoruba race dont wear agbada?
Even the bronze statue of oduduwa wasn't on agbada..Oni don't wear agbada,Even oba of lagos don't wear agbada..Only the alaafin of oyo ad his people wore agbada in those days due to borrowed culture of the hausas ad nupes tru trade by battersad

What's this one talking about? Wikipedia is now your reputable source? Lol.

Moreover, the Hausa just recently started wearing agbada. They've always preferred soro with their buba before they started putting on anything close to an Agbada.

We've been making agbada with aso oke since God knows when. In fact it was formerly Agbada made with an aso oke put on any inner wears such as the one below until we started making the whole inner wears the same material as the agbada. So, tell me who owns the Aso oke. The name aso oke/aso ofi and agbada should tell you whom they belong to.

People with no culture always loves to put down someone else's own.

[/s] because your forefathers wear feathers and lived on trees doesn't mean other tribes are like that.

Twisting a story to suit your own narative will never make it true.
Until you can prove that agabada doesn't exclusively belong to yoruba like suit is to the white.
I will advice Okoyiboz3 to ignore this MuthaFuka

The ediot even expect the picture oni's head to wear agbada or the imaginative picture of odua.

What's this one saying? Lol..

Oba should start wearing agbada? Wetin my eyes no go see. Agbada are occasion wears! Are you really that dumb or what?

I repeat the Hausa/Fulanis don't own agbada. They can't even afford to put on such on their camel and horses with which they used for their Jihad. Moreover, majority of the Hausas were slaves in Oyo empire until Afonja granted the run away Hausa slaves refuge in Ilorin and also brought over his Fulani friend (Alimi) to make charm for him!

Why am I even responding to someone whose history was recorded as being found naked in the bush by the british.
