Bubu came on the mantra of ''change'' but today Nigerians have just realised that it was actually ''chain'' they were talking about. The kind of defeat Buhari will suffer in 2019 will be worse than what GEJ suffered in 2015. Buhari has made the country worse than he met it. No sane person across Nigeria will vote this failed incompetent government back to POWER. cheesy

Just watch on.

PHILipu1:

Even if all northern politicians were on PDP ticket in 2015,Buhari would have defeat them landslide and it's a fact.
Do you really think if not for PDP rigging machines and no card readers in those days that Yaradua or Jonathan can defeat Buhari in a free and fair election?

One of the mistake that was reducing Buhari votes then was picking people from south-east as his Vice, when he realized that the people of south-east have been brainwashed with religion and ethnicity,Buhari then moved to south-west to pick his vice and then the votes were too much in 2015 that PDP couldn't manipulate again.

All of you talking trash against Atiku should shut up and stop talking nonsense, why didn't you people call him a political prostitute when he defected from PDP to the ruling APC. Atiku is the man to beat come 2019.

You are damn unintelligent! Nincompoop!

Atiku has always been the alternative definition of CORRUPTION! For your information, when he defected from PDP to APC in 2014, I still addressed him with his name "MR. CORRUPTION"! I don't care about political parties- if he likes he should join Labour Party or APGA, LOL.

The constant truth is that ATIKU IS THE SECOND DEFINITION FOR CORRUPTION! Go ask US authorities, go ask Nigerian Customs, go ask, go ask...

Voting Atiku is a sure way to returning to the era of "Let's Loot Everything", "Let's Share The Money", "Chop I Chop", etc. God forbid that misfortune for Nigeria. Not again!

Obasanjo will must chuckling at this fake, insincere press statement from Atiku. Barawo Banza! Ole Oshi!

Somebody who has never delivered his home state in an election wants to be president. He has never won in his ward after the governorship elections he won in 99. Charity begins at home, the rejection of APC by Nigerians does not mean they'll take back PDP. Other options will still come up. It's a multi party system and not a bi party system. Let the wheel keep moving, we'll get it right when the time comes. The Anambra election is an eye opener

You better face reality so that you don't get heart attack after 2019 election.
Only PDP supporters don't know that we are in all this mess because of how PDP destroyed this country for almost 16 years even when there were times crude oil was selling as high as $150 per barrel.

Responsible people and the majority know that it could have been worse than this in this Nigeria if not for Buhari that has been able to steady things even with crude oil our major source of income is as low as $40 per barrel.

If you think that every body think like PDP supporters and will vote like that in 2019,then be ready to cry after the election.

Because PDP no longer have Army, police, dos, inec on their side like in 2015 and i see Buhari winning the 2019 election with landslide figures.

And Atiku fails me yet again. You now refer to APC as their party because u feel u have lost out in the intra party politics.
You are wrong sir, u need to be seen as an idealist and not an oppurtuinist, stay in ur party and sell itself by espousing ur ideals. Politics is a house of cards, u r weak today doesn't mean u can't be strong tomorrow. Bihari is a perfect example.
U have failed me again sir I must confess ur style of politicking leaves me with no confidence in u.

Very desperate and shameless man. Jumping from one party to another because you want to win election. Losing people's trust but he doesn't know. The same PDP you left and betrayed for power is where you are running back to because you can't get nothing in APC. atiku thinks the strong PDP members are fools. They will collect his plenty money and trash him as usual.

ATIKU DECAMPS FROM APC

Read statement of resignation below:

Statement of resignation of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar (Waziri Adamawa) Vice President of Nigeria, 1999-2007 from the All Progressives Congress

On the 19th of December, 2013, I received members of the All Progressives Congress at my house in Abuja. They had come to appeal to me to join their party after my party, the Peoples Democratic Party, had become factionalized as a result of the special convention of August 31, 2013.

The fractionalization of the Peoples Democratic Party on August 31, 2013 had left me in a situation where I was, with several other loyal party members, in limbo, not knowing which of the parallel executives of the party was the legitimate leadership.

It was under this cloud that members of the APC made the appeal to me to join their party, with the promise that the injustices and failure to abide by its own constitution which had dogged the then PDP, would not be replicated in the APC and with the assurance that the vision other founding fathers and I had for the PDP could be actualized through the All Progressives Congress.

It was on the basis of this invitation and the assurances made to me that I, being party-less at that time, due to the fractionalization of my party, accepted on February 2, 2014, the hand of fellowship given to me by the All Progressives Congress.

On that day, I said "it is the struggle for democracy and constitutionalism and service to my country and my people that are driving my choice and my decision" to accept the invitation to join the All Progressives Congress.

Like you, I said that because I believed that we had finally seen the beginnings of the rebirth of the new Nigeria of our dreams which would work for all of us, old and young.

However, events of the intervening years have shown that like any other human and like many other Nigerians, I was fallible.

While other parties have purged themselves of the arbitrariness and unconstitutionality that led to fractionalization, the All Progressives Congress has adopted those same practices and even gone beyond them to institute a regime of a draconian clampdown on all forms of democracy within the party and the government it produced.

Only last year, a governor produced by the party wrote a secret memorandum to the president which ended up being leaked. In that memo, he admitted that the All Progressives Congress had "not only failed to manage expectations of a populace that expected overnight ‘change’ but has failed to deliver even mundane matters of governance".

Of the party itself, that same governor said "Mr. President, Sir Your relationship with the national leadership of the party, both the formal (NWC) and informal (Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso), and former Governors of ANPP, PDP (that joined us) and ACN, is perceived by most observers to be at best frosty. Many of them are aggrieved due to what they consider total absence of consultations with them on your part and those you have assigned such duties."

Since that memorandum was written up until today, nothing has been done to reverse the treatment meted out to those of us invited to join the All Progressives Congress on the strength of a promise that has proven to be false. If anything, those behaviours have actually worsened.

But more importantly, the party we put in place has failed and continues to fail our people, especially our young people. How can we have a federal cabinet without even one single youth.

A party that does not take the youth into account is a dying party. The future belongs to young people.

I admit that I and others who accepted the invitation to join the APC were eager to make positive changes for our country that we fell for a mirage. Can you blame us for wanting to put a speedy end to the sufferings of the masses of our people?

Be that as it may be, after due consultation with my God, my family, my supporters and the Nigerian people whom I meet in all walks of life, I, Atiku Abubakar, Waziri Adamawa, hereby tender my resignation from the All Progressives Congress while I take time to ponder my future.

May God bless you and may God bless Nigeria.

No principles. Just jumping up and down.

A smart politician needs to to win party politics and internal democracy first of. This is what Nigerian politicians don't do.

No political ideology, even the parties self, they don't have any identity except corruption which is a common denominator among all of them.

Imagine a Democrat crossing carpet to the Republican party... That is clearly a technical knockout on his/her political ambition.

No vacancy in Aso Rock. I pray God gives Buhari the strength to continue and finish well.
My reason is simple and for benefit of us all. We need PMB to finish his 8years if he can so that we know we are done with North. If Atiku wins he will want to stay another 8years and some of us will still be shouting Marginalization!!!

For the interest of peace in this country and power distribution let us allow PMB to continue even if he does not want too so that Power can shift to the South East at least.
Politics is beyond bitterness and hatred but thinking and calculations for future advantage.

If you are saying Buhari should go you must be ready for a Northerner for another 8years. The Decision we make today will determine our destiny. Our Destines is in our Hands

Over to you Nigerians lipsrsealed

I understand your point, but that doesn't negate the fact that you want to rule this country at all cost.
Yes you have the constitutional powers to do so, however, the moral and your antecedent is very worrisome to say the least. I have not had a good testimony from those that worked under your associate company rather, the opposite has been the tales.
For those that love the poor and seek geniue means of assisting will be where they are and still be putting smiling faces upon their workers. How many can attest to this sir? I pose this question to you and those clamoring for you.
Charismatic leadership is earned with selfless service. I know Fayose, maybe seem rascal or stubborn but those under him are happy am not saying he is perfect, he has all the quality to say No to the few people milking this country dry, he's not a joker, another example is Wike i understand he has is flaws, but the doggedness is there!, Tambowal is another Man, though am not close to him the way he resisted GEJ's men i dough my hat. Nigeria leadership needs courage and vision to dare the power that is drawing us back. The retired generals, the Oil Magnet and a few countries like the Britain. We need Real leaders this time around.

Atiku, PDP will still lose 2019 presidential election if it files a northern presidential candidate; take this to the central bank.

North has ruled Nigeria for 41 of the country's 57 years as independent country.

Are you drunk?
In North-west,North-central and North-east,Buhari will defeat 1000 Atikus put together.

In South-west-Buhari/Osinbajo ticket will defeat Atiku/any south-east candidate.

Edo is control by APC and will vote massively for Buhari.
Obasanjo is waiting for Atiku too and you can not write Obasanjo off when it comes to Nigeria politics, both past and current governors still respect him.

And finally, southerners will prefer to vote for Buhari to complete the north 8 years in 2023 and handover to the south than voting Atiku who will want to go for a fresh 8 years for the north till 2027.

All the ODDS are against Atiku.

Exactly my thought, if atiku wins 5 states in the North then buhari popularity is not at stake as b4.Atuki will only gat massive votes in East nd SS Nd may be Ekiti here in SW.If PDP presents Atiku, they are waiting for back yo back defeat.

Atiku will trash Bubu in the north. With the VP from the SE(block votes), it will be a walk in the park as the SS(block votes) and NC(block votes) will vote massively for Atiku presidency than Buhari presidency. SW will be divided alongside PDP/APC/AD thereby making it impossible for APC to win handsomely in the region.

At the end Atiku will score the highest votes across Nigeria to send the incompetent Buhari back to Daura.
